The best restaurants serving Turkish food in England

One of the best Turkish restaurants we’ve been to and we love Turkish food! First of all the aesthetics of the restaurant is really beautiful, it’s stunning, the staff were very friendly, chatty and provided really quick service. The food was delicious and big portions. I’m vegetarian so there was plenty of choices, the mussaka was super tasty. Would highly recommend coming here and please pre book as it really busy in there and we went on a random Thursday evening, just goes to show how popular it is. Really loved it, will come back again.

This is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to!! The welcome was exceptional. I ordered the Chicken Kofte that came accompanied by fresh warm bread/Olives/dips/rice and a very fresh & tasty mixed salad bowl. The presentation was fantastic!! Succulent tasty chicken which married well with the pickled red cabbage & pomegranate. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you live locally or traveling for business or pleasure!!!

Excellent food, and very good service, but expensive. Not just the price on the menu but necessary additions - we had to pay for bread to go with our starter of dips. And we had to pay for whatever they brought when we said the meal was dry (not the food, just nothing wet on the plate) . So be careful, but we had a great meal and a wonderful bottle of Turkish red wine.

Today was the first visit since it reopened as a cafe/restaurant. Serving breakfast, snacks & main meals. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely young man, he was friendly & professional. Hubby had a no.1 breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 slices of black pudding, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans. I had a no.2 which was 1 of everything no black pudding & 2 halves of fried tomatoes, plenty of mushrooms (my favourite) We had 4 slices of toast, 2 cafetières of tea, with a biscuit on the side, then when we had finished the young man brought us a Turkish dessert. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated & welcoming. Thank you we enjoyed it & will return.

USTA is a very friendly restaurant and the food is amazing. Some of the tastiest food I've eaten and portion sizes are very generous (even for a larger gent such as myself 😁).

The food was lovely, the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant and quiet. However, the waitress working didn’t have the best of customer service; she didn’t make us feel like welcomed. Everyone else at the restaurant were lovely, but we just wanted to leave as quick as possible. I don’t know if we will ever come back again.

We’ve visited twice now and both times were excellent . The place was really busy which was nice to see . Service was not rushed at all . We were served by Lisa who was very accommodating and professional If I had to say one thing I’d change it would be to dim the lighting in the back of the restaurant but that’s just me ….. people like to see what they’re eating . First class

What a lovely restaurant. The food is of the highest quality with the lamb being the best I’ve had. Beren will make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. A credit to her dad who in the kitchen rustles up the most amazing food.

I love this place. Very fresh ingredients, deliciously made dishes, very friendly staff, good prices, nice view from the window to Palace Street, my favourite eating place in Canterbury.

We go to kebab land every week as an absolute treat. The service is brilliant as is the product. We have it delivered and always on time. Lovely friendly staff would wholly recommend

Excellent food, friendly service, absolutely spot on. Everyone enjoyed their food, reasonably priced, good portions. Lovely bread and rice and the best baklava to finish. Parking just around the corner. Would really recommend.

La comida era deliciosa, pero el servicio era aún mejor. Los dos tipos que trabajaban anoche (lunes 20 de enero) nos acomodaron a mí y a mi hija. Estábamos renuentes a entrar porque estaban a punto de cerrar, pero nos dijeron que entráramos, nada era un problema. Especialmente a un adolescente quisquilloso donde las ensaladas son enemigas. Los dos tipos detrás del mostrador eran caballeros, buenas bromas y un crédito al equipo. ¡Gracias de nuevo!
