I love this place. Very fresh ingredients, deliciously made dishes, very friendly staff, good prices, nice view from the window to Palace Street, my favourite eating place in Canterbury.

Visited a couple of weeks ago but only just got round to leaving the review. However, it has stuck in my mind that the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The cafe had a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were kind and attentive. The food and drinks were sensibly priced and excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Off the main street in Canterbury so a little quieter on a Saturday. Very warm greeting, good menu and very pleasant service. We sat inside but there is seating outside. Enjoyed the Turkish feel to the place and there are traces in the menu (and salad I think). The rolls were fresh as was the salad that came with them. Delighted we found it on a hot Saturday and definitely recommend.

Had breakfast here which was ok. The veggie breakfast isn’t one I could recommend but the Eggs Benedict was very nice. Service was good and all the food was freshly cooked.

I unexpectedly found myself at lunchtime in the Kings MIle and was attracted to an unfamilar cafe. I had the best lentil soup in years, accompanied by delicious bread and excellent olives. The whole menu was very tempting and amazingly inexpensive. Staff ( the owner and his wife I think) were charming. I will return as soon as I can. I am recommending it to everyone. I think that it is Turkish.

Conveniently next to a splendid book shop this is now one of our must go to stops when visiting Canterbury. Great coffee, something different for breakfast and the baklava were amazing - all with friendly service and good value for money. Very well worth exploring the back streets and stopping off for something delicious.

The lunch was delicious for both of us. Very tasty, healthy and beautifully served! The little treat was a lovely little cup of Turkish coffee with yummy baklava, what a treat for me (I grew up in Belgrade). The atmpsphere is just lovely, you can tell that locals visit the cafe regularly, feeling welcomed. The location is great too! Thank you for the lunch and a good feel throughout the day!

This modest independent cafe is a breath of fresh air in Canterbury with its excellent (and fresh) Turkish sweets (brilliant baklava, Turkish delights etc.), ice cream, sandwiches (some with a Turkish style to them), excellent Turkish coffee and turkish tea, as well as all other types of coffee and tea (good herbal teas too). A very friendly owner and service staff, with an open hearted touch to everything they do and offer. Great location to have a break, have breakfast, a small lunch, a snack, read or do people watching (one of the best spots in town!). A must visit!
