Green Pea

Peninsula, Greenwich
27/10/2019: We ate at The Green Pea on Friday evening for the first time since Tom passed away. Whilst Tom is obviously very much missed the food was as outstanding and delicious as always. The girls are doing Tom proud. Please keep coming to this restaurant as it would be such a shame to lose this local gem that serves the best home cooked food in Greenwich.

Shaftesbury, Belfast, 20-30£
06/12/2019: We dined at Holohans at the barge as a group for Christmas lunch. From the reservation process, to pre-ordering, amending numbers and the experience itself, everything was perfect. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious at every course, including the barista coffees afterwards. We would highly recommend for groups and couples.
05/12/2019: Delicious food, excellent service and unique location right in the heart of Belfast on the River Lagan. Staff could not have treated us better. Lots of local flavour and nice Christmas atmosphere. I was accompanying a group of visiting Spanish travel journalists. They took loads of photos and found the whole experience a delight. Muchisimas gracias! LYNN CORKEN, BLUE BADGE TOURIST GUIDE, BELFAST

Tartine Restaurant at The Distillers Arms

Bushmills, Moyle, 30-45£
25/10/2019: This location suggested by a friend as a suitable meeting point as big catch up was required. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff who didn't feel it necessary to rush us. Early bird menu (Sorry can't remember the proper name for it) was very good value. Two courses plus drink (even a soft drink which is unusual) for £20.00 and the food was absolutely lovely. I rarely go for the fish but decided to be a bit adventurous & gave the sea bass with pasta a go...gorgeous & serving spot on. I went all out and went for the dessert as well and wasn't disappointed. I may not venture up this way again in the near future but definitely spreading the word that this is a great place to eat and you never know. Loved it and chatted merrily away and the staff happy to leave us. No suggestion we had to rush out. Really enjoyable evening, thank you.
25/10/2019: Really enjoyed everything I ordered . The Filet was cooked perfectly with wonderful flavor. The Oyster Rockefeller was the best I've ever eaten. I tried Sticky Toffee Pudding in different locales in my 2 weeks adventure in Scotland and Ireland , this dessert was hands down the best I had tried. The service was prompt and attentive. Atmosphere really nice. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Bushmills. Reservations are a must have.
