Holohan's

Shaftesbury, Belfast, 20-30£
11/03/2020: Pleasant venue, on the river. Very attentive service, lovely dinner. My two Scottish guests really enjoyed their experience .
09/03/2020: Celebrated my wife's sixtieth at the Barge. There were twenty of us in total. Great food, excellent wine selection and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overly obsequious. The Barge had been recommended by family and friends. Sinead and Mick are great ambassadors . Well done everyone.

Darcy's Belfast Bistro

Shaftesbury, Belfast
12/03/2020: Cannot fault this restaurant, we brought a group of adults with learning disabilities for an evening meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was of a high standard and very tasty. We ended up being the last customers and they cranked up the music and we had a cracking evening singing along with the great playlist - even playing our requests. Definitely worth a visit.
09/03/2020: Three of us ate here yesterday, despite having no booking and the place being very busy, we were welcomed warmly and shown to a table. I have to say the food and customer service were second to none, I swear to God I didn't even leave a smear on my plate, the vegan wellington was so good and my husband reckons he had the best chicken dinner he has had out in years!

20/02/2020: We went here for my wife's birthday and what a great choice it was. The food was superb especially the sea bass and this was complimented by the excellent service. There are lots of restaurants to choose from when you visit Belfast but make sure this is one of them!!

Tartine Restaurant at The Distillers Arms

Bushmills, Moyle, 30-45£
07/03/2020: We visit Tartine often and are never disappointed. Another great meal. Crab and salmon starter on Guinness wheaten bread was delightful starter. My main course of venison was perfect. Excellent staff. Great service and reasonable price.
27/02/2020: Even though it was out of season, the restaurant was still very busy and we were lucky to get a ‘walk-in’ table for 4.

Green Pea

Peninsula, Greenwich

Jollys Irish Cafe

Chippenham Hardens and England, Wiltshire
01/03/2020: This was a real treat staying with a friend in Ford I was taken here for Sunday breakfast absolutely amazing huge choice of breakfasts and amazing listed building the only problem being because it is Listed they are not able to have loos , however the angel hotel is very close and their toilets are very commodious! If you’re in Chippenham or the surrounding area you’ve got to give this place a try

Made in Belfast Cathedral Quarter

Duncairn, Belfast
09/03/2020: This place is v cool with some very charming wait staff. The menu had lots of options vegan/cocktails/ipa/mock tails which is great and it is certainly child and family friendly but I was disappointed that the food wasn’t as impressive as the decor.
01/03/2020: Family meal. We all met at Talbot Street. Waiters wouldn't give us a second. 3 circling us to order. I asked for garnish what I got was a bowl of over sized leaves fit for a rabbit!. Bill just under £50. The vegetarian dish was a disgrace. Will never be back. A pity myself and a friend went for years. Ooh the female waitress has an attitude problem. Everyone who was at the table...commented on her attitude is that customer service! Don't go...try somewhere else

Salley's Restaurant

Aughnacloy, Dungannon
08/03/2020: Was disappointed at the quality of the food and value for money. One beef dinner and one gammon dinner, one sweet and one jug of orange was £39.
06/03/2020: We called in for Sunday lunch last Sunday. Got a lovely seat by the window upstairs. The service was great. The food was simply superb and of a high quality. Veg wasn't your standard carrots and peas. We got cauliflower and cabbage. Our two children received two great dinners as well.. We will definitely recommend and return. Thank you.

12/03/2020: Sad it has come to what was a really exciting era under Peter and Caroline's stewardship.....lets hope the new owners keep the atmosphere, keep the staff, keep the craic and more important keep some of the well tried and trusted menu items. Michael Drak.
09/03/2020: A big thanks to Caroline and her fantastic team for looking after our group of TVR car enthusiasts for Saturday lunch at The Cuan. Everyone of our large group thoroughly enjoyed their food and commented on how efficient and friendly the staff were. Thanks so much for helping us to organise our visit.

The Copper Kettle

Bushmills, Moyle
02/03/2020: Stopped for a quick bite to eat here not expecting much but some average food. I was mistaken! The wide range of food at some a reasonable price was amazing. The decor in this little cafe has numerous copper kettles which made the experience even better. Food service was so fast and my chicken goujons were delicious. 100% would recommend eating here or even stopping here for a cup of coffee just to experience the copper kettle.
14/02/2020: Excellent food, friendly staff, nice and clean and inexpensive. Had a lovely bowl of Irish stew with wheaten bread and kids sandwiches were nice and fresh. The waitress said to the boys, never mind what’s on the menu, if you want something and we have the ingredients, we’ll make it for you. That’s how you run a cafe. First class attitude.
