02/12/2018: What a gem of a place. Staff really welcoming, amazing restaurant which staff happy to guide you through menu. Decor is great and really comfortable seating. Food was delicious and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. See you again soon
02/12/2018: Went last night with friends, first visit but will definitely return. Lovely evening, food was delicious, between us we had tapas to start, tagines & brochettes for main. Staff were great, there when u needed them but discrete the rest of the time. Great variety on the menu. And the finish of mint tea & a shot was fab. Had been recommended to me & I can see why. Worth booking in advance as the restaurant was packed but that didn't cause problems with the service. Thanks Meimo for a lovely evening.

City Centre, Edinburgh, City of
03/09/2018: The best coffee in town! Fabulous place with African menu. Great atmosphere, staff, food, coffee and music. We can’t fault this place. Top marks!
04/03/2018: I visited The Caffeine Drip South African café for breakfast with my brother during my holiday to Edinburgh. We had the French toast with banana and tomatoes, which tasted lovely.

Wolkite Kitfo

Highbury West, Islington, <20£
25/11/2018: Excellent experience with Ethiopian food. It was the first time we tried and I have to say that we loved. Quite cheap, delicious and nice people
23/11/2018: This place is such a gem! We are regulars here and can 100% recommend it! Delicious food, every time, without fail! Friendliest owner who remembers you and cares that you’re there! Wonderful, fun, casual atmosphere! Very decently priced and delicious Ethiopian beer. You really can’t go wrong! (Get the me!)

Kata Kata

Brixton Hill, Lambeth
04/11/2018: The food was really delicious and the portion sizes were decent. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. Would be 5 stars, but our food took a little time to come
03/11/2018: This place is incredible! The galettes and crepes are the best I've had, with lots of vegan options. Also a great range of juices (which you can upgrade to a cocktail) and extremely friendly service in a fun and informal space. We went there yesterday and we're already planning to go back :-)

Zeret Kitchen

Camberwell Green, Southwark
03/11/2018: This is my new favourite place. I can recomend. This place had it all!Amazing place, amazing food,I always come here with my daughter and the staff are süper friendly.
24/10/2018: We found this place on Tripadvisor and since it was fairly close we decided to give it a try. The place was a bit hard to find, even the Uber driver had to make an extra round to locate it. The atmosphere inside was very warm and the staff especially friendly. We decided to have a surprise plate with Ethiopian specialities. That was a perfect choice, lots of delicious food with typical Injera bread. Food was spicy but not too hot and the Ethiopian beer matched perfectly with it. Price for a meal for two, two beers and a sparkling water was 35 pounds-not bad. The friendliness of the staff was really impressive. So, if you want to taste something different, take some time to find your way to this nice restaurant.

Cleopatra's Coffee Shop

Holt, Wrexham, <20£
02/12/2018: Fantastic food and fabulous hospitality. Phil & Helen are brilliant hosts, would recommend Cleopatra's to anyone.

24/11/2018: First visit and highly recommended. Staff really helpful and made good suggestions on both food and drink. Great selection of meat, fish and veg dishes, all very reasonably priced.
18/11/2018: Came to indaba on Thursday with my good friend who was telling me we had to come here. And she was most definitely right! Food was all freshly made, so many varied plates which meant you got the true tapas experience. On top of the amazing tasty choices, staff were extremely inviting and give you a lovely explanation of the specials board. This place would be great for many occasions I believe and I’m sure could cover everyone’s tastebuds!

Al Fassia Restaurant

2 offers
Castle Without, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
24/11/2018: A warm welcome and delicious authentic Moroccan food and wine is guaranteed in this Windsor institution.
. ¡gracias!

habesha restaurant and bar

City Centre, Manchester
07/11/2018: The most authentic doro wot I had out of Ethiopia and out of Africa. The price is budget-friendly. The staff are friendly , especially the waiter. We had two versions of Doro wot; one with chicken and one with lamb.We visited this place twice. I highly recommend this place.
28/10/2018: Affordable alternative, tasty African Ethiopian food, nebyou and his sister make it very welcoming. A nice change to the norm.

06/11/2018: Fantastic selection of food to suit all tastes. Samples of food offered to ensure it suited purchasers taste for spiciness, etc. Every dish was oven hot, meat succulent and plentiful. Great service from friendly staff always ready to advise or suggest appropriate dishes. Take away was the most often sales but a small sit-in area was also available. Portions were large, good appetite needed.

Shebeen Bar

02/11/2018: Quite genuine / authentic place.

Pavilion Restaurant

Castle, Sunderland
11/10/2018: Intimate restaurant on the seafront in Thurso. Small but varied menu - one of the better restaurants in Thurso and worth a visit.
11/10/2018: Very small restaurant, literally a pavilion, perched above the beach in Thurso, with great views over the sea. The food is great, simply presented but very satisfying with great flavours. I had Cullen Slink, which wasn't over rich and creamy but full of real fish, followed by a delicious Moroccan Lamb Stew, with really deep flavour, accompanied by 1/2 carafe of red wine, all for less than £30! A real unexpected and lovely find in Thurso.

African Gallery Kitchen

Regent's Park, Camden, 20-30£
01/11/2018: I’m shocked at the rating of this restaurant .. I’m not being funny but everything is cooked off site and microwaved reheated in front of you! Like all food that is microwaved it is boiling hot on the outside and cold inside! Food in general was mediocre and the meat dishes were frankly poor - beef was tough and chicken cold and in a greasy tasteless sauce. Sorry but would honestly and simply not recommend!
14/10/2018: Havd never had African food before so I was very curious. The waiter (maybe owner) was very friendly, helpfully recommended some typical African dishes.I had goat meat stew and was delicious. For dessert I’d highly recommend the one with ice-cream )don’t remember the name)🙂

Le Kesh

Holywell,St Mary's, Oxford
10/12/2018: I have been to this restaurant many times and never had any complaints. They have a very good service and their food specially starters are so good. They have the best shisha in oxford.
19/11/2018: Four of us visited Le Kesh, prior to going to the comedy club - it was fairly early (6ish) on a Saturday and so the restaurant was quite quiet, but what a lovely experience! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the menu to us and feeling genuinely welcoming - food was fantatsic, I had the lamb tagine which was superb and everyone else kept saying how delicious their dinners were too - the meal came to about £25 per person for starters, mains and wine which I think was very reasonable - would definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

Mosob Restaurant

Westbourne, City of London,Westminster, 20-30£
16/10/2018: I've been to Mosab with a friend on a weekday evening and had the greatest first experience with Eritrean food! We ordered Massawa which is a sharing platter for two with lamb, chicken and vegetables and it was really delicious (and very filling!). Hana our waitress, was extremely helpful and gave us a little insight into Eritrean culture and cuisine. The place is pretty small but it wasn't crowded at all. We really enjoyed the evening and the food. Would definitely recommend!!
08/10/2018: Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. We received a nice friendly welcome. The food was was well presented in good time and very tasty. Definitely compared well to similar meals we have had in East Africa. The set menu provided a good variety. Many thanks.
