Al Basha

Castle, Swansea
21/05/2020: The food here is always delicious. This visit we had particularly good customer service from madi. Will return again
04/04/2020: Food is normally great. This time food was never delivered and after two hours and two phone calls to the restaurant they claimed they had already delivered the food. They then backpedaled and tried to say they had delivered it to next door to a neighbor we know very well and wouldn't take an order they hadn't asked for. The restaurant then said they would send another order and after saying we don't feel like waiting for two more hours and would like a refund they said it wouldn't be able to do that within 48hrs and what else could he do. After telling him all we wanted was our money back he hung up mid sentence. Horrendous service, will not be ordering again.

Moreno's

Temple Newsam, Leeds
28/08/2020: Omg why have I waited so long to come back to morenos the food and the staff amazing so welcoming and the food is 5 star I have been 5 times in the last 3 weeks ace!! 👌🏼
25/08/2020: Decided to take advantage of the scheme and try a new place which we have often driven past and fancied, particularly excited as this is the first time dining out for almost six months. I has the garlic mushrooms and lasagne, both were spot on. Others in the party had equally beautiful and delicious meals. All the staff chatted and made us feel very welcome. This restaurant certainly has a warm inviting atmosphere. Definitely a place on my return list. In terms of safety, its clear they are going the extra mile to make patrons feel safe. Temperature checks on the door, tables laid out well for social distancing and sanitizer freely available. The staff all wore faceshields and all feels very safe so I am happy to give this place 5 stars. (I would even give more if they were available too)

Adams Cafe

Askew, Hammersmith and Fulham, 30-45£
16/07/2020: I've been coming to Adam's for years now. A quality cafe by day and a delightful restaurant serving food from Tunisia and Morocco by night. We always have the chicken and lemon tagine - I always want to try something else but every time I can't resist - it's literally perfect. Add in a vegetarian couscous and life is good! The people that run this restaurant are both charming and professional. This place is the real deal - if you can't make it in, order a delivery - it even travels well and tonight when I did just this, it arrived as hot and delicious as if I was eating in. Wine is nice too and the wonderful bread and pickles served on the house if you dine in.

The Cook's Nest

Market, Cambridge
23/08/2020: Best Gyros in the UK! Cooks Nest Cambridge does the most delicious Gyros I’ve had the pork and chicken and both are as good as each other. Paprika chips are bloomin good as well. Definitely try and eat here at least once a month!
22/08/2020: There is a reason the ratings are all 5 stars! Very tasty and succulent pork gyros with added halloumi which rivalled the gyros I’ve had whilst being in Greece.

Greek Artisan Pastries

Portobello / Craigmillar, Edinburgh, City of
29/07/2020: If you're looking for something a bit different for tea or a picnic you can buy the pies frozen and cook them at home! Absolutely delicious - go on... Treat yourself! Also the filo and Custard pies and the chicken pies are not to be missed xx
03/07/2020: Having missed my regular visits to the Bread Street cafe I am happy I can still get my Greek Artisan Pastries fix at the nearby Portobello bakery. Everything is delicious and the portions are huge! The coffee is also excellent. What a warm welcome from the lovely young lady working that day, from providing water for our dog and the offer to write us a recipe. The long queue outside on Tuesday afternoon says it all!

The Wine Club

Rainhill, St. Helens
22/08/2020: Love this place, so lucky to have this on our doorstep. I’ve had a drink in here on plenty of occasions but decided to eat here last week as I had a friend coming to stay. The atmosphere was so cosy and vibrant and the food was fabulous. We had the cheese and meat board with chips and olives plus 2 bottles of white Rioja. Booked again for next week to try the pizza that looked lovely. Such a shame the weather was rubbish or we would have sat outside
06/08/2020: I have always been a regular of this place but decided to pop in tonight to try out the new additional menu.Well where do I start......The goats cheese, walnut pizza is simply to die for. Even my other half who hardly compliments anything was full of praise. My favourite dish has always been Buffalo Mozzarella that I actually visit one of the most popular restaurants in Liverpool for in Childwall just for this dish...... well the winebar has smashed it out of the park and has now become the best restaurant for me for this dish. That’s quite an achievement I think. Well done to the Wine bar you have taken a massive risk in uncertain times and you guys have smashed it. We had a beautiful bottle of Sancerre and amazing small plate food and enjoyed every single thing. Attention to details in the current client was second to none. Staff lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back this week loved it that much.

Pomegranate

Seaford South, Lewes
19/08/2020: The nicest owners and staff you could ever have. Their coffee is delicious and hot. I have had the most tasty chocolate brownie I have EVER tasted in my life. And their fruit scones are perfection. I always recommend to visitors to go there for lunch. Very clean and efficient too.
14/08/2020: Visited today 14/08/20, found really lovely warm welcome, excellent service and all Covid precautions explained once we were sat at the table. Lovely friendly staff with warm engaging personalities who couldn’t be more helpful. Lovely choice on the menu with something to suit everyone, a tasty looking ‘specials’ board was on the wall to choose from as well. Tea (decaf) arrived In a small pot with beautiful vintage china cup and saucer and a vintage milk jug. My “cheddar cheese on toast“ was fast to arrive and beautifully presented along with my companions “Portobello mushrooms on sour dough” we were offered glasses of tap water immediately our order was taken and my friend said her decaf latte was lovely too. Cleanliness at the table was exemplary and the toilets were cleaned between visits. (I didn’t visit so cannot pass comment) all in all a really lovely business well worth supporting, Seaford you are lucky people to have this cafe in your town. Will absolutely be visiting again, once I can find an excuse to return to Seaford .
