Mi and pho

Northenden, Manchester
16/06/2018: Food was amazing and atmosphere was great and cozy. Food portions served, were large enough. Very friendly staff. Food recommendations were spot on.

Vietnam House Restaurant

City Centre, Edinburgh, City of
11/08/2018: Este es un descubrimiento y es aislada en términos de zonas.
08/08/2018: Came here for a lunch and will be back. Staff very friendly, restaurant small bur spacious. Food was really good and massive portions also. We had to have the coconut Ice cream to finish and weren't disappointed. Lovely wee authentic feeling place away from the busy centre.

St James's, City of London,Westminster, <20£
17/08/2018: Went here as it was on the tastecard on a friday night. Initially I was sceptical because it was really quiet for a friday night at 7.30 (we were the only people in there) but we headed in anyway.
11/08/2018: I fell in love! Very nice surprise with excellent food and service. fast service and an absolutely excellent menu is a guarantee of experience. I am excited and I suggest you go here!

Eat Saigon

Castle, Northampton, 20-30£
15/08/2018: The food was perfect. Light, non-greasy and packed full of flavour. Fragrant curry, perfect steamed rice, noodles and beef was great too.
02/08/2018: Our server was sooooo friendly and the food tasted amazing! Definitely a must visit when in Northampton town centre! I will most certainly be visiting again! ❤

Sen Viet

King's Cross, Camden
18/06/2018: I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in London and saw Sen Viet from the bus, jumped off and hoped for the best. The place was full, but if I could be out again in an hour I was welcome. I managed it in an hour but would have liked to stay longer since the food was the most delicious Vietnamese I have tasted. As a stater I had Thit Ga Nuong and the main dish was a delicious Thap Cam Hai San and ended with Banana Spring Roll. Next time I will book in advance and enjoy more of their top food! Highly recommended!
18/06/2018: Whenever I return to London, I go there as my first eat-out. The place is ALWAYS crowded, so you might want to book in advance, otherwise, you have to wait in line. The only minus is very frequently their credit card scanner does not work, so you much bring some cash!!, which may be very rare for your restaurant experience in London.

Saigon Saigon

Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith and Fulham, 45-60£
16/06/2018: We visited this wonderful restaurant as we have noticed it from a bus. What a surprise! This restaurant served authentic Vietnamese food such as fresh spring rolls no 10 on the menu, beef wrapped in betel leaves, grilled pork and Bo Bun with stir-fried beef. The food were wonderful and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Reservations recommended!
13/06/2018: Went after visiting sipsmiths gin distillery the food was absolutely lovely we got spring rolls to start then a noodle dish & chicken stir fry. Food lovely so fresh tasting just enough between two service great we sat outside. Highly recommend loved it

The Wee Tea Room & Photography Gallery

Eilean a' Chèo, Highland
07/09/2017: Warm and comfortable out of the rain. Tea and cakes like your granny would serve. Great view. Very helpful with the gluten-free requests!
15/08/2017: We visited in June on the way to Glenbrittle and the Fairy Pools. The refreshments were excellent (tea, sandwiches and cake). My friend loved the birds flitting around the bird feeders as we drank and chatted to our host and looked over a few of his excellent photos. On telling him of our destination he told us the plain unvarnished truth - the Fairy Pools are now overrun by tourists - yes us! When we got there he was more right than I imagined so we travelled on and found an isolated pool a mile away to do some of our own photography. But as for the WTR, excellent teas and cake, and first rate tourism advice too while watching colourful birds out of the windows. Splendid stuff!

Eat Pho Bournemouth

Central, Bournemouth, <20£
18/08/2018: I visited the restaurant with 7 other friends on a Saturday night around 7pm, the waiter has informed us they did not have 3 of the dishes we usually order when we sat down, we were very disappointed that they did not have the dish we wanted, but thought it’s ok this happens sometimes, and would go for other alternatives. Then later on, the manager came to take our order, a pregnant lady wanted some Aloe Vero juice, which was on their menu again and they didn’t have. The manager who served us ( I think he was the owner) had not apologised for not having the dish or the drink we wanted, and I suggest if we could buy the aloe Vera juice probably from other shops and bring it in, as they had it on the menu anyway, and because of the th lady’s special circumstances, but they claimed it’s the supplier’s fault not to deliver it, and was asking for service charge if we bring the Aloe Vera juice in.
09/07/2018: Having been to Vietnamese restaurants in London with my sons, we decided to try Eat Pho when one of them was visiting. The food was of a good standard and reasonably priced.

Com Viet

St James's, City of London,Westminster
12/08/2018: We went to dinner here tonight just before going to see a show. I have no idea how this restaurant is getting so many positive reviews, they must be making their friends write these glowing reviews. When the food arrived, the portions were very small. I ordered stir fried beef with watercress and garlic. No garlic flavour, lots of water cress and not much beef. The beef was tough. My vegetarian husband was told by the waiter that they could make any dish on the menu vegetarian by taking meat out and replacing it with tofu, so he ordered the coconut curry tofu. What a disappointment that was. It was bland and all he could taste was turmeric nothing else, no salt, no spices, no chillies. I put a pen next to the dishes we ordered to use as a scale to show how small the portions are. (See attached photo). One small bowl of rice was £4.95 so times that by 2 it gets rather expensive. We didn't order any drinks just the 2 main dishes (which were all very small particularly the tofu coconut curry) with the rice and it came to over £30 and they had the cheek to add service charge when there was zero service. This is the worst Vietnamese food I have ever eaten in all of London. Other than Pho there wasn't much authentic Vietnamese food on the menu as most on offer were stir fried. If you want flavoursome, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, with decent portions and prices that won't burn a hole in your pocket then go elsewhere and stay away from this restaurant.
12/08/2018: We visited for a pre-theatre meal. The food is freshly prepared and seasoned to taste by the chef on request. Really tasty dishes at a reasonable price which soon adds up though when you have more than one course and when you add drinks and service charge. Service was good and waiter friendly. Best to get a table upstairs.

Oren Pho Bar Grill

Castle, Northampton
26/07/2018: I ordered online and got it delivered by Deliveroo. The ordering process was really efficient and I got my order delivered very fast. However I was disappointed with the food. Firstly, I ticked yes to cutlery but this was missing (staying in a hotel - not a big deal but annoying). I ordered soft shell crab (with the dip missing), pulled chicken drumsticks with sriracha sauce and the bo kah beef curry. I was appalled at the soft shell crab as I paid 10£ for it. It was just greasy, and all I could taste was the batter. How they can charge 10£ for it I will never know... maybe no one orders it because no one is stupid like me. The beef curry and drumstick was ok. I defo do recommend this place and won’t be ordering from them again.
19/07/2018: As always awesome food. I am a regular customer here. BUT PLEASE MAKE YOUR MENU EASIER TO READ. The colour choices of the text and background are not good. Also the menu is confusing. Difficult to navigate

Bistro Saigon

Ilkley, Bradford
04/08/2018: Short journey from Leeds and well worth the modest effort.
04/08/2018: So surprised at the quality of food, it was just lovely from start to finish. You know it’s good when your talking about who to bring back next time! We particularly liked the ribs starter and belly pork main. Definitely be back!

Ngon Ngon

Holborn and Covent Garden, Camden
15/08/2018: Ngon Ngon has been great each time I went there for lunch. Service is really quick, the food is always great. Salt and pepper squid and toffu curry are definitely my favourites! If you’re after relatively quick, delicious and good value lunch - this is a go to place.
10/08/2018: While studying abroad I lived down the street from Ngon Ngon and passed it every day on the way to class. Finally stopped in my second to last night and go the egg noodle dish with beef. BEST meal I had my entire stay in London. I went back the last night I was there too. Literally incredible!

Regency, Brighton and Hove, <20£
17/08/2018: Went here for dinner with my family. Nice environment for those looking for something bohemian and up-tempo. The food was good, even though the vegetarian bun noodles and the tofu rice could have had more flavours going. The service was good; friendly and attentive. I’m “only” giving the restaurant a four for two reasons: 1) the dishes on the many are standard for similar “trendy” Vietnamese restaurants around Europe; don’t expect to find something new if you are well acquainted with Vietnamese food 2) the food food could have more flavours to it; some of the much needed herbs where lacking. However, still a very good restaurant, especially for those that are quite now too Vietnamese food and loves the taste of chilli, lime and coriander.
15/08/2018: Con palillos o tenedor tomamos menú a buen precio, arroces o pasta con carne y algo de picante. Amplio local y buen servicio.

Viet Baguette Ltd

Woolwich Common, Greenwich
13/08/2018: We had been meaning to try here for a while as we live near Woolwich - and were not disappointed. We tried the noodle soups they do - they tasted very fresh & authentic. Good value for money - they were huge and we took them away at the end. An asset to Woolwich.
04/08/2018: What a gem. Fresh, tasty, seemingly quite homemade, always good. Been about 10 times, always look forward to going.

City Caphe

Bread Street,Castle Baynard,Cordwainer,Dowgate,Farringdon Within,Farringdon Without,Queenhithe,Vintry,Walbrook, City of London,Westminster
