12/12/2020: Me and my husband visited Com Viet last week. After a selection of tasty starters....I can say with no doubts..We had the best beef pho ever!!!!!! Friendly and helpfull service! We will be back soon!!
11/12/2020: Great, central location by Covent Garden.Nice compact space downstairs creates a pleasant ambience.Really friendly, welcoming staff who seem to enjoy what they do.The menu holds a good range of authentic , beautifully spiced and largely light Vietnamese dishes. What is not to like?

Mi and pho

Northenden, Manchester
30/01/2021: I have eaten at the restaurant since it opened, until recently I highly recommended it to friends and family! I couldn’t fault the customer service or the food. Always a pleasant visit even when collecting a take away. After a recent take away where the food was not up to scratch I didn’t give negative feedback I contacted the manager direct to give feedback. We returned to the restaurant and again the food was great. Unfortunately after our latest update experience we will NOT be returning! I have never in my life been spoken to the way the OWNER spoke to me, after I received the wrong order, not an ounce of customer service! Completely let themselves down!
05/01/2021: This was our first restaurant meal of the year, although as we’re in lockdown, this wasn’t a meal in the restaurant but, rather, from the restaurant via Just Eat. Going right back to spring last year, during the lockdowns and tiers, we swapped our weekly restaurant night out, to a weekly restaurant home delivery. We’d eaten at the restaurant once before, in 1917, and the menu seemed pretty much unchanged since then.We ate summer rolls and crispy spring rolls, papaya salad and Bun Sai Gon (a noodle stirfry with pork). It all tasted fine. The summer rolls hadn’t survived being transported too well and had collapsed and stuck together in a sort of gloopy way. It makes a change for someone else to cook dinner.

Ngon Ngon

Holborn and Covent Garden, Camden
13/12/2020: Wow it was incredible! I have never had Vietnamese food before but so glad I did! The staff were so friendly, attentive but not pushy and the food was out of this world! So many flavours packed in one dish!
16/11/2020: Quaint, welcoming little restaurant on a street corner. Nothing fancy. But boy oh boy, they serve pho to die for. Super affordable too, very filling, and such wonderful service. Been back so many times with different friends -- each of them loved it! One of my favourite restaurants in London...

Pho Restaurant

Carfax, Oxford
28/10/2020: We made a spur of the moment visit to Pho in Westgate Oxford today and were not disappointed. It was busy when we arrived and we hadn’t booked but they were able to fit us in. It was our first time at a Pho restaurant and they were able to make excellent recommendations for all of us including vegan diet, nut allergies and not too spicy. We chose the chicken wings to start which were devoured in minutes and delicious with a selection of broths and fried rice for mains which were beautifully seasoned/spiced and tasted beautifully. By recommendation i also had the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk which was the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Our waitresses were helpful, attentive and just lovely. We unfortunately left our daughters favourite Smiggle water bottle at the restaurant. I emailed them several hours later and they replied almost immediately, advising that they had found it, put it to one side and Would post it back to us. I cannot recommend this place enough; for the delicious and excellent value food and the fabulous customer experience. Thank you so much
21/10/2020: Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff! We had a great time for lunch at Pho, thoroughly enjoyed it - the spring rolls are the best I’ve ever tasted!

Vietnam House Restaurant

City Centre, Edinburgh, City of
25/10/2020: We are absolutely delighted with our lunch today and food arrived earlier than expected! Fried spring rolls are to die for and we really enjoyed the BUN CHA GIO THIT NUONG (yes extra spring rolls of course) and the grilled pork.

Holy Trinity, Guildford
01/01/2021: Do yourself a favour, and treat yourself a little on those gloomy days. I have just ordered a take away vegan spicy chicken with a little side of crispy rolls alongside a special hand-written by owner note. The meal was amazing, and I felt very much appreciated, thank you!
20/11/2020: We had a bad experience with Pho take away. We ordered 3 main meals and 1 side dish at the end of September. 1 main meal and the side dish were not up to the standard. The CHICKEN & PRAWN PHO XAO was tasteless. Should be wok fried but was not fried at all and the ratio of the meat to noodle was very low. (2-2 small pieces prawn and chicken) Also there was a very little amount of vegetables. The FRIED BABY SQUID was pale, it looks like was not fried enough and was very oily and also was very tasteless. This ruined my wife's birthday lunch!!!The next day (01.10.2020) we wrote a complaint through Pho's website, where we got this reply: "Thank you for contacting Pho.We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours. "Still to this day (20.11.2020) we did not get any responses from Pho.This is very terrible customer service!!

The Little Viet Kitchen

Barnsbury, Islington
06/11/2020: Unfortunately as with a lot of trendy restaurants the table was tiny and sandwiched tightly in between two, 3 panelled Louvre shutters which made it claustrophobic, and dark. Perhaps a covid thing. We ordered 5 dishes and literally 15 minutes later they all turned up at once leaving us scrambling for space. Little plant had to go and water put on the floor. Spring rolls look nice, but were bland not meaty and the diagonal cut made them cold quickly. Sauce was ok. Ribs tasty but over sauced with their sticky sauce, I can see people liking these but I say, salty and overpowering the pork. Whole fish very tasty, the best dish. But all the sauces have a similar theme so we didn’t have a variety of flavours really. Breaded prawns were crispy and soft inside with a Mayo type sauce that was tasty and this dish was different but not great. I think of Vietnamese as more subtle and herby but with the menu that evening it was all a bit “same same but different “ as they say in Asia. We purposely avoided the Pho as we had it many other places. Would have been nice to see the prawn pancakes or other herby dishes that night. We had. Pork ribs, breaded prawns, pork spring rolls, fried sea bass, chicken dumplings. 2 beers £75. Individually and spaced out nice enough dishes, perhaps, except the spring rolls, But everything turned up at once and made the meal table busy and rushed . We were out in an hour and bloated. 5/10.
. . .Volveremos !

St David's, Exeter

St James's, City of London,Westminster, <20£
. . gracias Olivia! !
19/10/2020: The food was so delicious and the service was great I recommend everyone trying it out, and the mango juice for me was the very best to top it all

Regency, Brighton and Hove, <20£
11/03/2021: Love love love this place can’t get enough of the spring rolls and the broken rice. By fair the best place in Brighton to eat 😛 staff great and all talented chefs
10/02/2021: had a weird specific request and was fully fulfilled! also great food generally the salad rolls are god's gift to earth and obviously that's pretty decent noodle soup

Sen Viet

King's Cross, Camden

Bunbunbun Vietnamese Food

Haggerston, Hackney
27/12/2020: The tofu pho was good (a big portion with fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts and cilantro), and the price fair for the quality, quantity, and being in London (11 pounds), and while the pho xao rau dau (wok fried rice noodles w/ tofu and veggies) was good in taste (i.e., the veggies were fresh and tofu nicely fried), half the noodles were kind of hard. It was still edible, but a tad disappointing.

Saigon Saigon

Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith and Fulham, 45-60£
17/01/2021: I love Vietnamese food, whether in Vietnam, Singapore or California, so I was dying for a Vietnamese food fix while in London. But London isn't famous for SE Asian food, so I was a little wary...However, Saigon Saigon really delivers for anyone looking for a Vietnamese food fix.The quality of the beef was first rate, as was the duck. All very high-quality meat. And the herbs were very fresh and excellent.I loved Saigon Saigon so much that I have kept going back.BTW, they have a cafe called Ngon in Chiswick High Street which also has the same high quality take-out food, but more "casual".Try Saigon Saigon and Ngon - you will love them!!!
08/01/2021: Have to wait for more than 2 hrs for food and when it arrived it was aufull. Dont go there. I cab write a novel how bad it was and one dish was of.
