Pho Stratford

Abingdon, Kensington and Chelsea
24/09/2020: This whole experience was perfect in every way. Firstly, the food was absolutely faultless, the flavours blew us away. But our visit was particularly made memorable by Laura, who served us; she was so helpful, polite and extremely accommodating. 10/10, we have already planned our next visit!
07/09/2020: The food is not authentic and doesn't taste good. But even worse, I saw one day the chef emptying a huge container of white powder in the PHO in the kitchen! For those of you who don't know, this is MSG!!! By ordering a pho, you are basically eating a ton of MSG without realising it. I found a hair in my vermicelli one day...go figure! I complained to one of the staff and they seemed reluctant to give me a refund. While waiting for my food, I saw the Indian guy touched the bin and then touched other customers' food. The African lady who adds bean sprouts at the counter was checking her personal phone at the same....AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This is NOT authentic Asian and it's not cheap...

I Am Pho

City Centre, Manchester, >100£

Cay Tre Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster
08/10/2020: Perfect spot for a quick lunch. I recommend the Beef Pho, the brisket was cooked very well but it had a lot of fat on it.
03/10/2020: I’ve eaten Pho in London, Budapest & Vietnam. The essence of the dish is for you to add ingredients to the soup yourself. Normally fresh bean sprouts, chili’s & garlic in vinegar. I ordered a beef Pho & it arrived with just a few beansprouts & nothing else. When I enquired about the missing accruements, the waiter looked puzzled, confused even. His expression was akin to me having called him over & demanded, “Waiter, can you dispatch an underling to go to Vietnam & return forthwith with a fresh Papaya Salad with a Papaya hewn from the freshest & most organic tree in all of Vietnam & make it quick!” Yes he looked that puzzled. In short they can’t be bothered to make the proper accompaniments & so I cannot return.I can also concur with the others that the beef in the Pho is very fatty indeed.

Keu Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster
24/09/2020: I've been here a few times. Really like the Chicken Curry Pho as it is delicious. They do this really nicely and are generous with the chicken. If you like Pho it's definitely worth the visit.

Song Que

Haggerston, Hackney, <20£
25/09/2020: I have been here a number of times and it never disappoints. I went with a friend and we had the sharing starter and beef pho for our main. Both were incredible and big portions. I will be back.
09/07/2020: First visit to a restaurant post covid. The restaurant was very clean, nice atmosphere, attentive staff and great food. We had the pho noodles soup. Served steaming hot and within 10mins. Will go back again for sure. Thanks.

Urban Orient

Upper Norwood, Croydon
26/09/2020: This place is amazing, the food is brilliant! For those who have never tried Vietnamese food or you are looking for something different to the usual Chinese / Thai, then go to the Urban Orient you won’t be disappointed. Friendly staff and a great price, I hadn’t been to this place before covid so I’m not sure if prices have been amended but the price is very good and well worth it. We will definitely be going again and if we can’t get a babysitter then take away it will be!!!
20/08/2020: It was a couple years ago when my friends first introduced me to this place. It was brilliant then and it still is today. I last went to Urban Orient two weeks ago, it is a small cosy restaurant with nice interior decor. They have a nice selection of beers on the menu, but you are also allowed to bring your own which is a nice touch. The food is the star of the show though. I think at this point I must have gone through every starter that they have available, the summer rolls and dim sum are my personal favourites. They have such a wide variety of food available for main courses but I would recommend the Bun Bo Sa.I honestly can't understand the bad reviews on here, especially somebody mentioning a staff member's English being bad considering it is a non-English restaurant. Would recommend to anyone whether it's lunch or dinner!

Hanoi Cafe

Haggerston, Hackney, 20-30£
10/09/2020: FOOD: starter of beef wrapped in betel leaves was delicious. Loved it. Tasty and well presented. Main of beef pho I felt was bland and I wouldn’t have it again. AMBIENCE: restaurant needs a tidy upSERVICE: Cheated me on purpose!! The waitress handed me the credit card machine with just a total on. It asked if I wanted to add a tip, so I did. I thought it was all a bit much bearing I mind it was on a £10 Covid offer so I asked for the bill. She had not taken off the £10. Also. A tip was included anyway so my tip came on top! She said she’d forgotten the £10 discount. Funny thing is a guy who left just before me spoke with me outside. The waitress had also ‘forgotten’ his £10 discount and double charged his tip. Clearly trying to cheat us!

Pho - The City

Cafe East

Surrey Docks, Southwark, <20£
04/08/2020: Have been here a few times and always order the pho dish. Have yet to try their new lobster pho dish.
04/07/2020: We called in here unexpectedly as we had time to kill. It was July 4th. And now cafes could open so we went in. Had a lovely tasty meal. Agree that vegetarian options are limited and did see big sign about tap water but we loved it. I had veggie spring rolls and a prawn pho without the pho soup. Really flavourful.

Sao mai dragon Vietnamese restaurant

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
12/09/2020: Avoid at all costs! Nasty, beige, tasteless rubbish food. Served in a dated, dark & unwelcoming room. Gordon Ramsey would struggle to get this place back on track.
06/09/2020: Really nice food, rang for a telephone order to collect..young man who answered was very helpful and polite, we ordered mixture of dishes from rice to chow mien they were all delicious .. chicken balls were really crispy and tasty.. would recommend this place.. great service , lady on front counter was also lovely..

Tay Do Cafe

Haggerston, Hackney, 20-30£
15/08/2020: Saturday 15th August 2020I've been here before and the restaurant was one of the first Vietnamese restaurants to open in this area.*Food temperature = 10/10*Taste = 10/10*Texture = 10/10*Portion = 8/10 (the set of four spring rolls was small but everything else we ordered was good).*Price = 8/10 (the noodle soup, fried noodles, rice rolls, 2 large spring rolls, salt and chill squid was decent. The four small spring rolls is over priced.Service = 10/10. The person serving us was very good and friendly.
31/05/2020: Sunday 31st May 2020Order via Uber and food arrived soon from driver picking up order.I've been here before and the restaurant was one of the first Vietnamese restaurants to open in this area.My recent order was not standard I have previously experienced here. I had to throw away the bag of salad as it wasn't washed or didn't seem to.*Food temperature = 5/10 (spring rolls were lukewarm at best).*Taste = 4/10 (everything tasted bland and not my usual authentic experience, even the sauce for the summer rolls seemed watered down.*Texture = 4/10 (vietnamese pancakes oily)*Portion = 4/10 (the pork spring rolls were tiny)*Price = 5/10 (the pork spring rolls pushed the score down.

19/08/2020: During the Corona virus outbreak this outlet has provided excellent service with quality food to our vulnerable house. We have looked forward to the weekly deliveries. Always with a smile.
17/06/2020: Food ready very quickly which is very handy. However I didn’t find the quality great . Sweet and sour sauce too sweet
