Amthuc Viet in Wealden

Ate from the pop up stall in Falconhurst Estate. Wow; great tasting food. Friendly, welcoming people cooking and serving. Very glad I stopped for lunch. Started to eat before I thought to take a picture because it smelled and looked so good.

We are very lucky to have this outlet in our area. I love Vietnamese food and there is nowhere else for many miles. The couple who run the business are lovely friendly people. The food, as usual, was truly wonderful. I cannot recommend it more highly

This is a great take away in a dessert for Asian food. Our meal this evening was so flavourful. I can do Asian food. I grow my own lemon grass but tonight I wanted it done for me and it was far better than I could do.

I had been wanting to try Amthuc Viet since moving back to Wadhurst and finally my family and I placed an order for my birthday meal. They cater really well for vegans on the menu with plenty of choice plus pretty much the whole menu is also gluten free which is amazing. When we collected the food we had a lovely chat and headed off home. Sadly a couple of bits were missed from our order but he came up to meet me as soon as the mistake was realised and we also got an immediate refund. To me, customer service is key and theirs is brilliant! The food itself had such beautiful, delicate flavours, good value for money as you get plenty and the whole family enjoyed their meals. We will definitely order again and highly recommend ☺️

The most delicious food and the freshest taste. Seriously impressed. We were lucky enough to meet the team at a show and at the pop up the flavours were outstanding. We then ordered a large meal for friends for an event and the quality was exactly the same. Well done.. we’ll be back lots.

Absolute gem. The food is stellar and you can tell they take great care of their food and menu. I cannot recommend this place enough. We ordered for a family gathering and probably ordered about half the menu - everyone was blown away with what they got, there was not one dish that was just 'ok' - everything was stellar. I myself love their vegetable noodles - so simple, so fresh, and so tasty!

This was one of the worst experience in my life. The fried spring rolls were not Vietnamese, but Chinese, and Pho Ga was made with Knorr. None of the dishes was edible or Vietnamese. Avoid at all costs.

We had heard good things about this takeaway and were totally blown away. Imagine the complete opposite of a Bog Standard Chinese Takeaway and you are heading in the right direction. No fried food, no greasy aftertaste, no artificial ingredients. No orange afterglow. Just home made, Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients. We will definitely be ordering from here again, especially when we have guests.

I am no expert but this tasted authentic. Like Chinese (the sort we normally find in England) but so much tastier, fresher . I will be ordering again

Just ordered and ate a lovely authentic Vietnamese meal. Stunning! Food was beautifully cooked, fascinating and fragrant food journey. They were so lovely too. I think this is one of the best meals I have had outside a but metropolis.

This was our first takeaway since we move to Wadhurst and it was amazing. Ordered 2 mains: fried prawn noodles and tom yum. Both lovely flavours, generous portions, prawns were huge a and noodles perfectly cooked. Thanks very much, we'll be back!

Totally recommend this fab place. Really tasty food and good value, good size portions. The king prawn skewer and salmon main course were really tasty. Can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu.

What a find! We had this local takeaway for my daughters birthday during lockdown and it was excellent. The flavours were so fresh and aromatic. The rice & noodle dishes were generous portions and the pork ribs were delicious and surprisingly filling. Loved the salad & dressing too. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be ordering again soon.

What luck that Amthuc Viet has opened here and we were told about it pre second lockdown. We are working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed. It’s all very delicious and beautifully presented. Because we are greedy we order extra summer rolls and have them for lunch the next day!

Recently tried this home based take away. Totally authentic with limited selection but all dishes that we tried were special. The starters are good sharing size and mains slightly bigger than a usual take away main. Starters and mains for 6 people around £100. The spices and flavours are delicate and fresh. So much better than the usual Thai or Chinese local takeaways. Do try this food you do need to book in advance as the food is freshly made. Highly recommended

As part of a special birthday celebration we shared a wonderful take away from Amthuc Viet. It was the first time I had eaten this cuisine and I can best describe it as very Special Chinese. Food. If you like Chinese, you will love Vietnamese. I can unreservedly recommend a take away from Amthuc Viet. NOTE TAKE-AWAY ONLY
