The shop has foldable seats where you can choose to eat in. The lady said there were no bowls so it was served in a takeaway container which was fine. The broth was tasty where you can taste the shrimp paste and lemon grass. There is a sweetness to the broth which I enjoyed. I would like to try the non spicy version next time and would visit again. For anyone that would like to visit, it is a cash only place.

Had the Bun Lemongrass Beef with chilli. The place doesn’t look like much but the food was great. Tasted like in Vietnam.

Quando entri (se non ti spaventi all’ingresso) sembra di essere in un mondo parallelo !! Piccolo e “squallido” tanto che vorresti scappare ......ma la sorpresa del cibo che ti viene servito è tale che vorresti tornarci prima di avere finito quanto ordinato ....LO CONSIGLIO !!!

Excellent Vietnamese food in a small restaurant. There's only three tables and they also do takeaway food.

Its off the main street and couldnt be smaller - 3 small tables / total 7 seats seating area no bigger than 8 ft by 8 ft ! Decor is super basic & plastic.Sole aunty does everything. I had the bun bo hue which was nice & spicy. Not sure its the best in London but I would definitely return if I was in the area.

Indiscutiblemente, uno de los mejores restaurantes vietnamitas que hemos visitado a nivel mundial. Todo es fresco por el propietario, que es la dama más dulce y trabaja increíblemente duro.A pesar de que el espacio es pequeño y parece muy básico, el restaurante está limpio y nos recordó nuestros viajes por Asia.Hemos recomendado este lugar a nuestros amigos, a todos les encantó.

Tuve los fideos picantes de carne ayer por la noche. Como asiático, no creo que los fideos sean espectaculares. Ese fue mi primer fideo vietnamita en Londres, así que no tengo comparación con el estándar aquí. Sin embargo, un fideo de sopa caliente en el frío sin duda puede mantenerlo caliente.

The foods are amazing and truly Vietnamese authentic dishes! You have to wait for a bit but it's worth it because the dishes are all freshly made and very healthy. Would highly recommend Bun Bo and the grilled pork and rice!!

Es sólo porque es secreto escondido de la carretera principal, y abre bastante corta (5 a 9 horas, pero no los lunes). No confundirse e ir al restaurante de comida vietnamita calle longdan adjunto a la supermercado a la vuelta de la esquina. Este es el verdadero problema.Menú pequeño, pero todo está preparado desde cero y es fresca y deliciosa. El dueño es encantador y es fantástico ver este pequeño lugar de conseguir reconocimiento por su comida estupenda y el servicio es fantástico.Recomiendo la carne Greens amargo con arroz. Tengo casi todo el tiempo. Nunca he habitación para rollitos de primavera, pero mis amigos que vinieron conmigo la última vez dijeron que eran increíbles.

I love this place!!! You can't judge the food from the appearance of the shop!!! It's small shop but the taste is delicious and nice lady cook for us. I recommend pork grilled with rice!!! I will go back again :)

Don't mistake with the Asian supermarket a few metres away.... It's tucked in a side street, hidden gem v good food although it's run by one person food can be a tad slow if busy otherwise it's probably the best Viet around.

I have tried 3 dishes from this take away shop and they are all tasty. The lady who owns the shop is really friendly and take care of the customer.

La comida aquí es genial! Tuve la carne al limón con arroz, y los rollos de primavera. Son los mejores rollitos de primavera que he tenido y el mejor limón carne. Aparte de la buena comida, La mujer propietaria de la tienda es muy agradable. Fueron cerrados hasta la noche de hoy, pero que ella abrió la puerta cuando vio me fuera y dijo: "el cliente siempre primero" y preparado mi comida. Comida sabrosa y barata. Sin duda volveremos!

First time visiting and no disappointed here! Food was excellent! I ordered Vietnamese Spring Rolls filled with tofu and Prawns and vegetables with rice. What a sweet taste and I loved seasoning. Best Vietnamese food I ever tasted, thank you!

Buon ristorante vietnamita, ma l'atmosfera è veramente molto asettica. Sembra di mangiare in un centro commerciale. Nonostante tutto i piatti sono buoni e volendo si può visitare il market all'interno pieno di prodotti asiatici.

Had the best spring rolls that I've ever tasted here. Lemongrass noodle and rice dishes were also delicious and good value, all made by a friendly Vietnamese lady. If anything, go here just for the spring rolls!!

Fui con un amigo y pedimos Grill cerdo fideos, fideos con carne y un postre dulce, que viene alrededor de £14. La comida era excelente y el precio es mucho más barato que lo normal restaurante vietnamita. Aunque el propietario no hablaban mucho inglés, ella es muy agradable y amable. Sin duda volveremos.

Delicioso, fragante y sabrosa! Creo que esta es la mejor ternera y fideos sopa que he probado en Londres. Pequeño llevar con una pequeña mesa para sentarse y comer, con un pequeño menú, pero lo que un sitio excelente! El dueño era muy amable, pero no hablan una enorme cantidad de inglés. Me encanta este lugar y volveremos muy pronto!

Simply amazing Vietnamese (mainly takeaway) tucked behind Strata in Elephant & Castle. I've been loads and it's always great. Just one woman cooking so if you order lots of different things it'll take time. Lemongrass chicken (wow) takes 5 mins. I've travelled a lot in Vietnam and this is a real find. Looks nothing on the outside - but do the restaurants in Hanoi? I'd hate this place to close while Elephant becomes engulfed in crap chains.

I was very lucky to stumble into Hoa Phuong on my way home. It's a tiny restaurant, run by one Vietnamese lady. Her English is not the best but you can order by pointing at the menu. She cooks everything fresh in her little kitchen so it is possible that you have to wait for a bit. But it's definitely worth it!I ordered Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef and noodle soup) to take away and it was absolutely fantastic! I got a lovely, rich, aromatic broth and a separate box of rice noodles, sprouts and fresh lemon. At home I mixed everything together and was in heaven. The highlight is the super soft and tender beef that's in the soup. And all that for only 6£

Ive got to agree with the other reviewers, what a great find. I ordered lemon grass prawn and rice and was not disappointed. Really good clean flavours, plenty of king prawns, plenty of chilli (optional) and all freshly prepared by a very friendly lady. I'm not really up on Vietnamese food but it just tastes really good. Well worth a visit, a cut above the norm. Enjoy.

This is by far the best and most authentic Vietnamese food I have tasted in London! If you have been to Vietnam and tasted Bun Bo Hue then you need to try this place! This is the only place I have had it this authentic outside of Nam! The vietnamese spring rolls are also fantastic as is everything else on the menu! The place may not have the look but it has the taste! On a final note I have never tried it during my travels in Vietnam but the Bun Tom Hue (Bun Bo Hue with prawns) uses a fish stock rather then beef and has such a wonderful clean seafood taste! If you want to sit in the owner (very friendly lady) is happy for you to pull the few tables together if with a group.

If you want Vietnamese street food, eaten how its supposed to be served in a place with no frills, this is the place to go! Best for take away, but there are a few tables to seat no more than 6 people.
