Only ever gotten takeaway from here, whenever I phone up to place an order they're really friendly and the turnaround time is very fast so it's a great way to get a quick meal that's worth the walk for me. Food is always fresh and flavorful, and doesn't feel overly unhealthy or salty, there's lots of veggies in the coconut curry I like to get and the beef is very tender. Everything we've had from here has been great and the owners are so lovely, it's not often you go to pickup takeaways these days but the staff are so nice it's something to look forward to

The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They genuinely cared about us as customers and ensured that our dining experience was smooth from start to finish. Will definitely go there again.

We went around 6 for dinner. This place is amazing!!! All the food is freshly prepped. It is genuine, tasty and made with love. Raymond, Julie & all the staff take very good care of you. It's byob. We had very tasty starters, and mains that were really generous portions.

Have not been there for a while and love to try their good food again. Love the food, love the atmosphere, love the staff❤️ Wok fried flat rice noodle with beef is always my favourite. It is the best I find in Glasgow😋 We tried something new tonight. The crispy chicken in sweet chilli sauce is so crispy and the sauce is just right. It now becomes my another favourite. The pork rice is also very good. So tender and juicy. Salt and chilli tofu, Salt and chilli mushroom, all are delicious. Remember to book a table in advance!

I have visited little hoi an on many occasions, my experience is always 10/10 from the food to the service. They have a great gf menu and loads of veggie options too. The pork belly special, beef pho and salt and chilli pork in my opinion are must trys!!! Couldn’t recommend this wee cosy spot more😊

Phenomenal wee restaurant, absolute gem of a place. Been several times and food has always been incredible. Fresh, delicious, layers of flavour and attention to detail. The Pho?! 🤤🤤🤤 The family who own it are so welcoming and kind. Definitely worth checking out - book in advance if you can!

Absolute gem of a place, wonderful staff, wonderful vibe and most importantly wonderful food. Definitely worth consistent return visits. Staff make you feel at home and don’t rush you out the door, pho is always excellent and veggie options aplenty.

Decided to have a takeaway instead.So glad we did .We ordered veggie rolls and grandpa's dumplings followed by chicken skewers with a satay sauce and prawn coconut curry with jasmine rice.Really lovely taste.Especially liked grandpa's dumplings and the coconut curry. If you want to sit in you will have to book.Enjoy.

This place is bang tidy. The food banging, delicious and fresh. The service , friendly warm and full of charm. BYOB. Proper gem, can’t wait to go back.

A little hidden gem in Glasgow's Southside. Wonderful food and lovely staff who couldn't be kinder. The kind of place you can't wait to go back to try everything else on the menu.

I feel so bad leaving a low review but I was so disappointed in the food. We ordered the salt & chili mushrooms and it looked like we got slices of ice burg lettuce. There were no whole mushrooms and just slivers. Then, I got the wok tofu noodles…. Unfortunately the tofu was completely bland and not cooked on a chef level. I felt the food was extremely overpriced for the value and taste. Sadly I won’t be going back.

Stunning food with great veggie, pesce and vegan options. Opted for their special, a sticky tofu rice bowl, which was delicious! The homemade lemonade was definitely worth trying and BYOB is also available.

This is a homely , fairly small establishment which accommodates six or seven tables. It serves authentic vietnamese and asian dishes. The menu is comparatively short but what is there is cooked extremely well . The slow cooked pork dish is very highly recommended. The restaurant is located about a 3 minute walk from the queen's park train station. It has an increasingly positive name and that is well deserved, it is always busy so reservations are recommended. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and prices are very reasonable. It is very highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

Very sadly was disappointed with Little Hoi An! The service was lovely and the restaurant had a great buzz about it, but our food was pretty bland. The salt and chilli mushrooms were also very batter/oil forward :(

It's my first time at this Vietnamese place, recommended by a pal who said it was great. It's got a proper Vietnamese flavour and it suits ma taste perfectly. The staff are friendly. The food is fresh and unique, and my two boys love it. The best dish is the stir-fried noodles, but honestly, it's all really tasty. I'll be recommending this place to my friends.

Absolutely wonderful little restaurant (and I mean little, only about 6 tables in there!), very attentive hosts and the food was just excellent, highly recommend the triple fried chicken leg and pork belly specials if they're on! Great intimate atmosphere and so much more fun than going to a bigger restaurant. Will definitely be returning to our new favourite Vietnamese spot

Such a lovely place with amazing food and very attentive staff. It’s byob which is amazing and the menu has lots of options. Starters were nice had the rice spring rolls and chips (very very spicy). Main courses had the lemon grass chicken noodles, shrimp curry and rice all were lovely. The place is tiny 6/7 tables so make sure to book and it is cash only! Would recommend

Second time at Little Hoi An. The food is amazing, you can tell there is an extreme care from the cook. All the ingredients are super fresh. The staff is just lovely and caring. Definitely worth a try Will go back again.

Quiet little place down a side street not a lot of tables but they are packed someone leaves someone comes in the atmosphere is amazing can see unto kitchen and its spotless! Food tasted amazing couldn't have asked for nicer staff so attentive and welcoming ❤ added bonus of BYOB

Fantastic authentic Vietnamese food, best I’ve had outside of Vietnam. Grandpa’s fried dumplings were brilliant. The beef pho was excellent. All of us loved the food and had a great evening. Staff are friendly and welcoming, it’s a tiny venue which isn’t open late and nine of us (I’d booked for 8 but someone else turned up) were squeezed in but we managed, thankfully the waitress hung up out coats! There’s a table licence with corkage and they’ll keep drinks in the fridge until you need them. Service was very prompt, and if you need to know what the dishes are they will happily explain to you. Prices are very reasonable, three courses about £30 including tip and corkage. Don’t miss this place, and we’d all return for more!

Very atmospheric space with quite an authentic vibe. I visited last weekend with friends for the first time, it all felt very rushed and the food portions were so small and were served on small enamel plates. This would be understandable if the price equated the portion size but unfortunately this was not the case. Additionally my friend and I ordered some prawn dishes and the prawns were most definetely not fresh. For a city with a very extensive culinary selection, this is a rip off.

Went here last night and was blown away by the food and hospitality. Having been to Vietnam in November I can testify that the food was the real deal. My partner and I shared 2 amazing starters and the pork belly special was absolutely incredible. The staff were so friendly and toning was a bother for them. The chefs in the kitchen were full of fun too. Overall this was one of my favourite dining experiences in Glasgow and we will definitely return.

Food here is excellent and the service was also great! The food came really quickly and was piping hot. My only complaint was that my tofu was a little bland (I got the skewers with peanut sauce) but the rest was delicious!

Was looking forward to trying this wee place but not overly impressed by the food. Tofu was tasteless-had not absorbed any flavours. The veg rolls were ok but so hot (temp) and took ages to cool to allow eating. The coconut curry was bland and watery with no hint of coconut. Perhaps non vegetarian plates would be better, but what we had needed flavours and seasoning. On the upside, staff were pleasant and the old wall tiles were fantastic. Prices a tad high too.

Not only was the food delicious but the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Loved it entirely and can't wait to go back!

No photos I'm afraid as phones stayed in bags on my anniversary meal! On an incredibly horrible wet, windy night we were welcomed into Little Hoi An with open arms. The tiny dining room was warm and cosy with perfect lighting, not too bright, not too dark. We were happy to be seated next to the radiator as we didn't have jackets on! The staff were so lovely and attentive, having genuine conversations rather than the standard "how is everything". Very warm and friendly to match the interior. The food though...absolutely delicious. The peanut sauce that came with the delightful summer rolls was my husbands favourite, but the real showstopper was the caramelised pork belly with egg. It came on a sizzling plate and the pork was cooked to perfection, literally just melting apart in a sticky glaze. I could have eaten a bucketful. Pricing was fair and well deserved for the standard of food we were served. I'm only angry with myself that we hadn't visited earlier, but we will definitely be back. What a wonderful place with absolutely wonderful people.

Tiny and no- frills- but food from the small menu is delicious, Staff very helpful and friendly. Take your own beers- and a glass if you prefer that to the in- house plastic cups! Best to book. Recommmened!

Had takeaway from here twice and been underwhelmed both times. We had flat rice noodles with tofu this time with salt and chilli chips but both were super bland. Disappointed as some people seem to have a great experience here but it only seems to be people that get beef dishes.

The service was second to non - AMAZING. However, the food… wasn’t great, particularly the pho. It tastes quite sweet and a little watered down from what I’m used to. My friend also didn’t rate his dish.

I had the fried dumplings and flat rice noodles with beef. I am absolutely gutted that I only ordered single portions! The food was so good I could and would have eaten it 2 times over! Everything was amazing and I will be back to try the whole menu! I am in love ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very popular and I can see why! The food tastes fresh and is full of flavour. Despite it being busy, there is no rushing you and the staff are very attentive and some of the friendliest I've known. Small venue so it's better to book and plan ahead but it's worth it. The food, atmosphere and people are great. There are vegan options too.
