I have now stayed at the Dakota for over 7 years now and have loved every single time. The service is great. The one thing I love is the cocktails made at the bar. One that I really enjoy is a coconut daiquiri. Everywhere else I have been they have never been able to make one as good as here at the Dakota. Tonight I asked Rachel to make me one and it was amazing. The service given by Rachel, Ross and Dan was fantastic and I wouldn’t think twice about coming back. Thank you so much xx

Spot on First Visit to this Restaurant. Amazing Tapas dishes . Really Top Staff as well. Our first Visit ( used to be Guy's Restaurant) it will be our 1st choice from now on . SOOOPERB. 10/10 👍

Chicken gyros with halloumi is very flavoursome and tasty. One of the best I've had. The portion is just the right size and the price very reasonable. Quick service with a smile and even the dog got a tasty treat. We will definitely return when next in the area. Highly recommend!!!

Este es un gran lugar de brunch / cafetería local. Interesante elección de platos principales, pero sus rollos de tocino son tan buenos que por lo general es lo que pido! Eso y lo mejor tarde, mientras que en el lado sur hace que esto sea una visita obligada. Es muy buena relación calidad-precio también - el único problema es conseguir un asiento, por lo general está guardado y no aceptan reservas

Honest pros and cons review: Firstly I want to say it was an overall great experience with friendly staff and amazing food. Please don’t let the following criticism keep you from trying the food. Now for the drawbacks: the plates, glasses, and silverware were, to put it frankly, dirty. Not the they didn’t wash it dirty, but more the dishwasher they used missed a spot here and there. The waiter and manager were quick to get new dinner ware, however, the issue persisted as there was grease residue even on the replacements and food particles stuck on some of the replacements. I’m a frequent Waffle House goer so some grease won’t stop me from trying the food and let me tell you, it was awesome. We ordered mango lassis, mango chicken tikka, butter chicken, and chicken tiki masala along with some regular and garlic naan. The food was amazing, the mango chicken tikka especially. The staff was very friendly, including the manager who was constantly going to all the tables to ensure our dining experience was the best it could be. After speaking with him he explained they just opened back up today (9/25/2024 or 25/9/2024) after being closed for two weeks and needed until Friday (9/27/2024 or 27/9/2024) to have WiFi set back up. I am very inclined to say the cleanliness issue will be resolved soon.

The best steakhouse in Glasgow and it lives up to that title. The food and service is amazing here. My boyfriend and I both had sirloin steaks which were incredible with the chips and peppercorn sauce. We also ordered a side of the baked mac and cheese to share which was also unbelievable. The portion sizes are very good and very filling - we definitely could've managed without the Macaroni. The prices are more expensive than what we're used to but it is fully worth it for the service and food quality that you are receiving. If you are ever in Glasgow you can't miss out on this place! We will definitely be back.

1st time at this venue we used to go to scran when it was on the parade in Glasgow we were looking forward to it but tbh was let down it wasn’t bad it was just ok but for the money it was disappointing…we ordered Stornaway eggs and poached eggs with side of sausage and also tried the shawarma chips. The really disappointing thing was our eggs and that’s what scran is famous for they were hard and tbh I can do better eggs in the house also our toast no butter on it or an offer of butter ? As I said the old scran was great but tbh for £40 it was poor maybe it was a different chef or an off day but don’t think I will be back.

Tienen el mejor café italiano y pastelería recién horneada. ¡No probamos el desayuno pero se ven deliciosos! Paul, el propietario, es muy amable chico charlatán y el resto de las cosas es muy amable. Todo está limpio y agradable, baños agradables y limpios también. Recomendado!

Visited today for a takeaway coffee and left very disappointed to be honest. £3.40 for a tiny coffee which wasn’t even what I ordered due to lack of attention being paid. The lady seemed very rushed and I could see the wrong type of milk being used, as well as the syrup I had asked for being carelessly fired at the coffee from a distance and totally missing the coffee itself (couldn’t taste it at all). Card machine was plonked in front of me for payment and the lady serving rushed off leaving me just standing there. I tapped my card and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or goodbye 🤷🏻‍♀️ Lots of better options in the area with great customer service and far lower prices. Poor service and sadly won’t be back!

A chance stop off after a walk in Lynn park was what first brought us here, but the epic pasta filled sandwiches, delicious homemade cakes and welcoming and friendly service is what keeps us coming back. Can not speak highly enough of just enough in general about this wonderful cafe

It’s no secret that I love the Loveable Rogue, it is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. We normally go to the west end restaurant but tonight we traveled East to the Dennistoun restaurant. Shamefully I hadn’t tried their Thursday steak frites but when I saw they had the same deal on this weekend I decided tonight was the night. The food was its usual amazing, we normally have the hummus and whitebait starters and they were as tasty as ever but we also had the haggis Bon Bons and the goats cheese and Parmesan churros which were so good. I had my steak with king prawns and garlic butter which were gorgeous. The steak deal is such good value. A side of brisket Mac n cheese was the perfect accomplishment. Last words will be on the service, the staff are so lovely and attentive and it’s them that really makes the place special. Gary in particular goes above and beyond to make your visit a great one.

Liam and the gang did a great job catering for my birthday party. Food was amazing and the attention to detail made it all really special. Would 100% recommend
