Fuimos a almorzar con la familia y todos disfrutamos de nuestras elecciones. Porciones sustanciales y buen nivel de comida. Los pasteles se veían muy bien, pero no podía manejar más para comer. Definitivamente volveré.

I visited with a friend. We both opted for the pancakes with chicken. The portion was generous and it tasted great. We both had coffee also. This was the first time I'd visited, I'll definitely return! The cakes looked good but I couldn't have faced dessert after such a huge portion. Service was friendly and efficient.

We recently visited for a midweek brunch as a family. The food was delicious as always and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a young baby with us and they made us all feel very welcome which is nice as babies can sometimes mean lots of noise! The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back which was ideal. The only improvements I could suggest is making the menu available online as I have previously wanted to try this place with friends but was unsure if it would cater for pickier appetites.

Just had the most delicious lunch. The chorizo and tomato stew special dish was absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend it enough! Big shout out to Davie the chef. The lovely staff and friendly atmosphere make this a great place to visit.

This place has an awesome vegetarian breakfast (picture included) and the coffees were amazing too, the french toast was a little too strong on syrup for me, but I was already so full I didn't really mind and I did enjoy the generous helping of berries on top. Decor and seating is also quite cute, and the staff are lovely :)

This place goes above and beyond very busy when visited was seated quickly even tho it was mobbed. Was advised that food would take a wee bit longer as there where tables to be served before us but good food always comes to those who wait and it sure did. The staff are always friendly and make you feel at home, just listen to the banter off them is brilliant will be back soon but think i will book a table as it does get really busy.

Love this gem of a place. Only got introduced to it a few months ago & the only thing that’s disappointing is we didn’t find it sooner. Myself and my family have tried various meals from the menu and not one has been a let down. Oh and don’t even get me started on the home baking!!!! Go try it for yourself.

BEST AFTERNOON TEA!!! I ordered afternoon tea for 20 people and WOW! Absolutely amazing, everyone complimented how great it was! I think there was enough for 40 people! Even better Neil had it delivered to Skelmorlie for us which was top service!! Thanks again!!

I have had afternoon tea in many many places in Glasgow, Edinburgh & London but can honestly say this was THE BEST EVER! everything was so fresh bread was beautiful, scones were so tasty & cakes to die for!!!!

Had afternoon tea with an Itison voucher. Lavish amounts of delicious sandwiches, scones and home made cakes. Refills of tea and coffee on request. Friendly and efficient service. One of the very best afternoon teas my friends and I have ever had. Free car park plus street parking. Would definitely recommend.

We had a concert at a park near here. Didn’t expect much from this restaurant but boy were we wrong. The service was really good. Prices were fair & the food was fantastic. I am not a huge fan of eating out because I am so usually disappointed. Can’t say that here. The burger was amazing but their macaroni cheese was to die for.

Neil and his staff created an amazing afternoon tea for a family 50th Birthday surprise get together. Nothing was an issue and Neil was fantastic with helping us organise the day with nothing being an issue. The cost v homemade soup, full afternoon tea was worth every penny especially as everything was made fresh within the kitchen. Can’t praise these guys enough for making a surprise birthday so special and highly recommend Rawlings for a private event or for a spot of lunch with local ingredients with a Scottish twist. Thank you so much Neil & staff from all the family.

Went for lunch to Rawlings yesterday. I had the special. Pork on pancakes topped with a poached egg and tablet cheesecake for after . Absolutely delicious. Good service from 2 lovely ladies. Highly recommended. I’ll be back

We always visit Rawlings when we come to Glasgow from Cyprus. We arrange a family get together for lunch and it never disappoints. The soup and sandwich combo is fabulous value you for money and a really big portion. The home made cakes are to die for. Great friendly service every time. We'll be back soon hopefully!

We stopped here for a late lunch and really enjoyed the burger and chips. The atmosphere is lovely and the service fantastic. Next time, we will save room for the desserts, especially the cakes on display.

We ate here on a recent trip to Glasgow. We booked in advance and were greeted warmly on arrival. The service was really good and the food was very nice. We all had the ploughmans lunch and each had a different cake and coffee. Everything was lovely and we even took some cakes away with us. David, Katie and Neal were all really friendly. We would definitely go back.

Neil really did go above and beyond in making my girlfriends 30th bday celebration that wee bit more special. We ordered the afternoon tea and the food was absolutely exceptional. Neil and his team delivered a wonderful afternoon tea for my son and his fiancé. I wanted to arrange some special treats for them on what should have been their wedding day but wedding had to be postponed due to COVID. At the time Glasgow was in its toughest restrictions so limited venues open and no alcohol could be served so I decided I wanted to have something delivered to their home. I live in South Wales and didn’t know where to start in arranging stuff for them in Glasgow. I found Rawlings by chance after googling and speculatively e-mailed. Neil was fabulous in responding to this unusual request and made things really easy for me to achieve the treat. They delivered at exactly the time I requested and the quality and quantity was amazing. Being able to add on a bottle of bubbles was an added bonus. I cannot fault the service they provided and excellent value for money too.

Morning fellow tripadvisor guests, i dont often write reviews but came across the last few for the great wee family run business and thought they where written in bad taste and showed a lack of respect and understanding for what businesses are going through in a pandemic and how hard and stressful they are finding it to stay in business and at the same time protect you the customer and protect themselves!. As a caterer myself i travel over to this venue as i know regardless of what time of the day i go i will get great food and service, As a caterer i also look and trust the type of qualities in a business that this venue demonstrates everytime ive been in. Ive ate in lots of cafes and i would never class rawlings as average! you would be hard pushed to find many other venues in Glasgow that care enough to handmake every dessert, cake and biscuit and also make sure there are things available for people with dietary needs. The food is great trust me ive been in the industry for 26 years! Id finish by saying that these are strange times we are living in and we are often becoming frustrated and being told what to do, where to go and what to wear. But take time to think about all the local businesses that are killing themselves to still provide you a service as close to normal as they are legally allowed to and adapting the best they can, as the rules change daily so must they. Think about how your off the cuff negative bad reviews through your own frustrations effects that business and the family running it. Its the old expression if you dont have anything nice to say do say anything at all!!! as your negativity can have a lasting effect on small businesses already struggling through a pandemic for your benefit!

We went for brunch for my mums birthday. Staff were great and made us feel very welcome and were very attentive. Food was delicious. Would recommend the french toast. My mum had the poached eggs which where ace too.

Went for lunch and food was great and was not too busy. However, staff were very rude. One waitress was very snappy and short. If I was to go again I'd hope the atmosphere would be nicer and staff would be more pleasant.

No parece suficiente agradecerle a Neil y su increíble té, por el delicioso y maravilloso té de la tarde que le entregaste a mi madre hoy, por su 88º cumpleaños. Neil, hiciste todo lo posible con tu servicio e hiciste muy feliz a una "anciana", haciéndola sentir muy especial. Our afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Tasty fresh sandwiches with plentiful fillings. Followed by light as a feather scones and some of the best cakes I have eaten in a long time. The carrot cake was particularly delicious. We can't wait to eat afternoon tea here again.

We found this place by sheer luck today. Between three of us we tried the beans on toast, chicken caesar salad, and the cinnamon and vanilla French toast. We couldn't help ourselves and also ordered the tattie scone nachos! Not one complaint between us. The food was delicious as were the desserts. Also worth noting that while the staff were rushed off their feet they were fully attentive. Can't wait to go back

My hubby and I had lunch here today. We had asked for a quiet table when we booked and that is what we got. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and had nice vibe. The fact that it was busy did not deter from the service we received. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful as was the chef. Our food was well presented and tasty. The potato scone nachos were a surprising delight. We were both very full after our main course but could not resist having a sweet and again this was lovely. All in all a very pleasant lunch.

I knew as soon as we walked in that this was one of those rare places that takes such a pride in being welcoming and making your day that much better. That was a good sign of what was to come. It was my Mum’s and my first time here and we just had coffee and carrot cake but this was not ‘just’ coffee and carrot cake. The cake, I have since learned is award winning and no wonder- fresh and utterly delicious. We were both laughing as we picked at the crumbs that were left on our plate even after the generous portion that you get. The coffee was absolutely delicious and I take it black so can be quite fussy cause it needs to be smooth and it was really lovely. We’re definitely going to be back for breakfast- in fact, my Mum wants to go back tomorrow! Really recommend this lovely place. A great experience all round.

It was freezing, people sitting with coats on - need to turn up the heating. On the upside it was very clean, staff were pleasant. Downside, quite pricey and I really didn't enjoy the food. Overall didn't live up to the great reviews and I won't be back.

Thank you for lovely afternoon tea you did for us following my Auntie’s funeral. It was much enjoyed by everyone, and was the perfect ending to the celebration of her life. It was great to get dairy-free cakes without being made to feel like a nuisance and we all enjoyed getting doggy bags. It was good value too.

Visited this cafe and bistro for the first time recently, and I was very impressed with the level of service. I had pre-ordered a pavlova with fresh cream and berries (via a voucher deal for Christmas from a friend) and it was delicious and beautifully presented. Service from ordering to collection was excellent. (We pre-agreed a collection time so the cream was as fresh as possible) and I will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to others.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. My beefburger was delicious, and my husband loved his vegetarian meal. Our deserts were scrumptious. The award winning carrot cake was moist and moreish, my husband relished his tablet cheesecake. Service was excellent. We will definitely eat here again.

We ordered our usual delightful French toast with mixed berries.....however when it arrived we were utterly gobsmacked.....quality of bread was poor poor poor....cheap.....tasteless and soggy and much much smaller.......not a good start to the new year.....looks like we are going to have to find an alternative....we would rather not but if this is the sign of things to come then we would rather support an alternative small business.....

Visit Rawlings on a regular basis, great place especially on a Saturday evening after 5 p.m. . Great dishes made to order especially Chicken burgers or Ribs two of my favourites. If you haven't tried it what are you waiting for , also best to reserve.

This was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Yes it is a coffee shop surroundings, I have had afternoon tea in numerous venues in Glasgow with better surroundings. The sandwiches were delicious, bread outstanding, scones cakes brownies etc delicious. Waitress was very pleasant would really recommend this.

Pop in on a saturday night for a burger and was amazed the chicken burger is simply amazing there beef burgers was fresh and tasty but OMG the chicken burger wow crunch to the batter beautifully soft cooked chicken outstanding very very very nice place

Needed to cater for 40 people at home. Rawlings catered an afternoon tea with fantastic sandwiches and scones plus cakes, meringues and empire biscuits. All were freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Our American guests said the brownies were the ‘best they had ever eaten’. Professional service, good advice and great value for money. We will be back for more.

My Yearly Visit to see Family and Friends once again has to include a Visit to Rawlings for Lunch.

We loved our afternoon tea here. The sandwiches were freshly made, packed full of filling, and delicious. The cakes were scrummy, and the scones were so light they almost floated off the plate. There was so much food we had to take some home for later. Service was very good. All in all this was the best afternoon tea I have had in a long time, we will certainly be visiting Rawlings again,

I remember the very first time I ordered the pancakes for breakfast......well my goodness they were simply beautiful....lovely and thick...fluffy and totally scrumptious...however when I ordered them today along with the past few weeks...they were hard...tasteless and paper thin....what has happened to the pancakes?....I noticed another customer a table away ordered the same thing...they looked like the original pancakes....very strange....please bring back the delicious original pancakes....

Visited a few times recently , very nice refreshing ambiance within. Ordered coffee and sandwiches , all made fresh and tasty to order , certainly will make regular visits in the future , if you're passing give it a try , first class service from the cheery staff.

What a great place for afternoon tea, we went here this afternoon and had one of the best afternoon tea’s. The sandwiches were so fresh and tasty with the nicest fresh and I think homemade bread I have had, often at afternoon tea the sandwiches are a bit of a disappointment but not here at Rawlings, once we had polished of the sandwiches we tucked into the freshly made scones and lovely selection of cakes, my favourite was the mini pavlova and the iced gingerbread but to be honest they were all delicious.

Today we visited this little café for lunch and we were not disappointed, we were the only couple in then gradually it filled up! I opted for the Soup of the Day and Ciabatta with Chicken Mayo, my wife had baked potato with Tuna and Red Onion. Both came well presented and warm. For dessert we both opted for the Tablet Cheesecake which was to die for! The bill came to £24, for two mains, two desserts and two pots of tea, which was not bad taking in to account the quality and service!

Rawlings love to eat done an amazing job with the Buffet for my partners 30th birthday party. Everyone was raving about the quality of the food with many people going up for 2nds and even 3rds.

Decent food but very pretentious. The only place I have been in my life to charge for hot water. When asked why on earth they do this, I was told it costs to heat the water and there's a bit of lemon in it. 1.50. Remarkable. Never been back.

As someone who Afternoon Teas (AT) once per month (and have done for 2/3 years) it is not always easy to find somewhere new that satisfies.

Found this place by accident one day. So glad we did. Have been back 3 times now with different family members. Everything we have had so far has been terrific. The list is too long to mention all of the dishes tried. However I will say the humble 'beans on toast "is elevated to an entirely new level.My husband is in love with the iced gingerbread!

I recently starting having the pancakes for breakfast. The first time I tried Neil’s pancakes they were absolutely superb!!!!! However on having them most recently I was sooooooo disappointed....they’ve gone from being thick,scrumptiously light and fluffy and utterly delicious to sadly being thinner and ohhhhhhh sooooooo heavy....what’s happened?......please bring back your amazing original pancakes. I also feel that the massive charge of £1:50 for tiny additional toppings exceptionally greedy!!

Up from England on a visit, we had lunch here and it was extremely good, my husband said it's the best flat white coffee he's ever had! that's a huge compliment because we used to run a bar restaurant and we are a bit fussy when it comes to coffee. This place is not cheap but it's worth the extra cost for the quality and would definitely be returning when we are back up for a visit, we have family who live nearby. We were in for lunch and all the food was exceptionally good. So impressed with the food and especially the coffee.

Had the best breakfast I have ever had... poached eggs on sourdough toast with crispy kale and chilli. Cooked to absolute perfection. Service with a smile as well !! Can't recommend enough

We love this wee cafe. There is Good parking at back of cafe. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The menu has many different options for any time of the day including specials. It’s also licences if your there in afternoon and wish a drink.

These folks are top rated and it shows. Espresso, tea, Farmhouse Breakfast, Beans on toast...and gingerbread. Exactly what we needed and staff was welcoming. We ventured out of city center based on Trip Advisor rating and reviews. So glad we did. Impeccably clean and food was top notch. Thank you for being patient with our American accents and dining preferences. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely birthday lunch, we ordered one of each of the specials. The black pudding sunblushed tomato and cheese grilled sandwich was delicious and we finished off with a tasty almond slice and perfect meringues.

My husband and I take our grandson most Sundays and we nothing but great things to say about the food and the staff we have been taking our now 3 year old grandson since he was a baby the staff all know his name and no matter how busy they are the always take time to talk to him and us my grandson is especially fond of Katie great family restaurant

We went this morning, second time I have been first time was very good. My son ordered the full English breakfast and I asked for scrambled eggs but without the toast. I asked for mushroomS and tomatoeS instead. Food came very nice.

Had a lovely evening on fri night with my dad and sister celebrating his 92 birthday.When we arrived staff had set up a table with banmers and a balloon very attentive to us all wishing dad Happy Birthday.Food was beautiful and we all recieved wee scottish gifts of their tablet all presented with tartan ribbon.As we were paying our bil we were all offered a wee dram dad thoroughly enjoyed.Great night Thanks again to all the staff much appreciated.

I popped in here with my daughter and her 3 year old and 10 month old. The service was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. I had the lovely cinnamon toast with berries, my daughter had baked potato with chicken mayo, the boys had scrambled egg and pancakes with berries. Everything was excellent and freshly prepared. There is also a lovely selection of cakes. I live north of the river but would gladly travel here as it is well worthwhile.

Wish I had known about this place long before now. Really tasty food, great choice on the menu, friendly service and they are great with babies! Ample parking. Ok so this is one of these rare finds that you dont want to tell people about so that you can always get a table. However this place is so good and the staff/owners are so nice and friendly I cant help but want this place to do really well. Went here for brunch with my 9mth old on a Sunday, nice clean (ie didnt need to wipe it myself) baby chair, in a quiet corner of the restaurant. Staff gave my son plenty of attention and seemed genuinely happy to serve a table with a small child. Nothing too much for them, food freah and cooled to order. The chef here has Roux books on the shelves and to be honest given the attention to detail and quality of the food (and cleanliness) they are in my opinion the Le Gavroche of Glaswegian breakfast options.

My dad and I stopped in here for breakfast as he takes work clients who love it. It was genuinely a perfect breakfast venue. The venue was quaint and cosy with around ten tables, we went around half 11am and it got busy very fast! The service was friendly and enjoyable with the server remembering my dad and what coffee he likes! We ordered a full breakfast and the food came in less than 15 minutes. The food itself is what makes this little cafe so likeable, it has sizeable portions and the food is cooked to perfection. The haggis is a must try as it melts in your mouth. We saw some of the smaller children get pancakes with strawberries and syrup that looked fluffy and delicious! The prices are between £7.50 and £8.50 for a full breakfast and coffee or tea including toast or £14 for two from Monday to Thursday which is a great deal for the whole experience. All in all I would highly recommend this place for a family breakfast outing.
