A little hidden gem in the South of Glasgow - with an ever changing menu of lovely brunchy dishes to be enjoyed in the Tennis Club's sit down space or outside, overlooking the courts!

Class little place nestled inside Newlands Lawn Tennis club. Persevere when trying to find it, you do need to head right into the club (some nice blokes kitted up for tennis kindly directed us). The food is really really good. Innovative brunch items that don’t break the bank. I had the ‘BLTH’ (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato & Halloumi) croissant which was delicious and generous. Go hungry.

Such a find! Really down to earth place with incredible brunch options that are a little outwith the norm. Did my usual annoying customer behaviour and asked for something off menu but the staff were more than catering and I really enjoyed! Will be back again soon, love that I can view menu updates easily on Insta too💞

Always come here on a Saturday for a roll and a cup of tea with friends. It has easily become one of my favourite times of the week. The rolls are amazing, the staff are lovely and a really large indoor and outdoor area to eat in. Started with a tea. Then oh I may as well gave a roll and now I have a tea, roll and a different cake each week. Why not I say. You should definitely pop in and try it you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful brunch. Not your usual brunch location.. but that added to the experience! Great flavours, fab coffee and the team are so helpful and friendly. Will be back...go check it out. Saturdays and Sundays at the moment 9am to 3pm. Early avoids rush or towards end of day. Oh they do takeaway too! Can sit outside courtside and watch the tennis on picnic benches.

I lived in Shawlands for 8 months and only entered this welcoming little cafe on my last weekend there. I wish I'd gone sooner! The atmosphere as you walk in is instantly inviting, the staff are really attentive and friendly, and the interior is mesmerizing. We had a coffee and a breakfast bun, all of which were delicious. The value for money here is great, unlike some of the other cafes in the area. We also bought some plants from here that have really brightened up our home. I can't recommend this little place enough. Will definitely go back next time I'm visiting the area!

Visited today for a takeaway coffee and left very disappointed to be honest. £3.40 for a tiny coffee which wasn’t even what I ordered due to lack of attention being paid. The lady seemed very rushed and I could see the wrong type of milk being used, as well as the syrup I had asked for being carelessly fired at the coffee from a distance and totally missing the coffee itself (couldn’t taste it at all). Card machine was plonked in front of me for payment and the lady serving rushed off leaving me just standing there. I tapped my card and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or goodbye 🤷🏻♀️ Lots of better options in the area with great customer service and far lower prices. Poor service and sadly won’t be back!

South side of Glasgow is starting to get a great vibe for fantastic independent coffee shops, but problem is almost all of them are on Victoria Road or Polloskshaw Road. I was walking from Glasgow Green to Queens Park, and was wanting to grab a morning cup of coffee, but all the usual places head to all mean taking a large detour, but when looking around I noticed a coffee shop appear on Cathcart Road. Great little coffee shop that is really inviting. Staff are excellent and will make your order fresh on the spot for you. Most certainly now firmly one of my top go to coffee spot in Glasgow now.
