High quailty vietnamese food at takeaway restaurant prices.They have vegan options,The sweet potato curry is lovley. Fresh squeezed available with some great combos. Every dish is made in house fresh. They make there own springs rolls on site! nothing frozen.

A year ago, I stopped to change a tyre, I parked on the drive of this restaurant I felt bad so ended up buying a beef stew, it was one of the best decisions I made because the stew tasted just like how I had it in Thailand, a year later, not only are the portions smaller which I don’t mind, the beef stew now taste like I’ve done it in my own house. All of the sudden there was no flavours or taste distinctive of Thailand. It’s like all the herbs and spices of this cuisine are no longer used. And I’m very disappointed. On speaking to a number of people that frequently use this Thai restaurant have agreed with me, and I have introduced another Thai restaurant to them locally.

Delicious food and great value. Pho was light yet full of flavour and had the right amount of fresh herbs and the option of fresh chillies.

Good authentic Vietnamese cuisine, elegantly decorated restaurant, with friendly accomodating staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

I researched the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area and was attracted to this place as it has a good social media presence. However this is more of a takeaway than a restaurant and I was a little disappointed to see only two table at the front of restaurant/take away. However the food was very well presented and the prices reflected the quality and portions but I was wanting more of a dine in experience and ended up eating out of take away paper bowls rather than porcelain where the portions would have been much bigger as you would expect when ordering Pho Ba. I also ordered a baguette which was very delicious so much so I ordered two more for my lunch as I had a long journey ahead of me. The food was delicious I just wish I had gone to a proper restaurant. (If people decide to eat in I think you should give them the option of traditional porcelain crockery rather than a paper take away bowl. For £2 more they then can have a bigger portion and enjoy your pho more. Overall food was tasty and I would recommend the baguettes, but this isn't a restaurant ore of a take away with a few seats for a quick lunch.

Small but nice place for authentic Viet dishes. Their Banh Mi's are top notch in London. However there are only a handful of seats inside, so it's not an ideal place for big groups.

Available for dine-in or take-out, the price is ok, the food is good, parking is available at the door

Best pho I have ever had, and I eat it all the time everywhere. Friendly, family run joint as well.

Placed an order today and the baguette for my prawn sandwich was so old and stale and crumble like an old brick. Very disappointing

First time ordering at this establishment. Ordered collection the person who answered was very polite and so were the other people once I went it to collect the food & very tidy inside also. Good range of options of food. Very reasonably priced. Tasted great also. 10/10 would recommend.

Got stuff out of here the other day it look alright nothing special. But the next day I had upset stomach must of been something out of here. Had to have the day off work the next day should I say I wasn’t good

I had an exceptional experience with Doan Gia, the Vietnamese takeaway. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. The service was impressively quick, and we enjoyed every bite of the chargrilled pork & Vietnamese spring rolls, chargrilled king prawns, and chargrilled pork banh mi. We also tried the Ban ga Nuong and Doan Gia special Banh mi, which were delightful. This was our first time ordering from them, and we're already looking forward to trying their other options. The taste was simply heavenly!

I came here since they had such good reviews. The food was alright but I found an insect in my take away order - first of all, you need to ensure hygiene standard when selling food. I would not want to make any big deal so I called the restaurant and explained what happened. It was extremely DISAPPOINTED when they tried to blame it on me. Listen guys, I did not request any refund and gave feedback through your landlines, but I received a disgraceful customer service. I would not recommend anyone to this place and there are many better Vietnamese restaurant out there!

Discovered this little gem today whilst going out for a long walk from Bexleyheath to Blackfen. Very tasty and authentic food. Looking forward to coming back to try the Pho.

Usually order the grilled chicken with rice and never disappoints, good presentation and always flavourful. Great customer service too.

Take no notice of opening hours! Closed tonight when website said they were open, at least keep your social media up to date, won't use now

Been here a few times now. Having been to Vietnam I would say this is just like being there. The food is outstanding and to get the flavours without having access to the same produce is a testament to the quality. Absolutely love it. Wish they delivered to Woolwich or I'd eat here far more often. Thank you, I look forward to returning again... And again...

Used to be good. The charggrilled ribs and rolls got plenty of little bone pieces on, could damage your teeth badly. Paid 200 pounds for dentist after the 50 pounds meal.

Ordered a take away from them and the food was fantastic, only tiny criticism is I felt the meat in the Banh Cuon was a little lacking. Their baguette’s are absolutely amazing - I love the Special. We recommended them to all our friends.

The only bad thing about this place is I haven’t found it sooner!!!!! Honestly the BEST takeaway food I’ve ever had in England. It is so unbelievably fresh, authentic and delicious. To add, the shop is spotless with great customer service. I’m Australian and have been searching for a good viet takeaway like back home, and deadest, this is even better than there!

The BEST vietnamese food I've ever had in the UK. Their menu is well balanced with meat, fish and veggie dishes and everything is so carefully made and tastes amazing. My favourite dishes are: Bun Cha Ca £9 - rice noodle soup with fish cakes and fried seabass fillet. The soup is absolutely delicious and the portion is really generous Prawn Banh Mi £6.5 - lightly battered prawn with cucumber, pickles and mayo in a baguette. I dont know where they get the bread and mayo from but this is the perfect sandwich! The baguette is soft but the top is slightly crunchy. I dont live anywhere near here but when I do come to visit, I really look forward to ordering from here. Highly highly recommended.

My favourite takeout of all time!!!! The food is amazing everytime!!!! I will be adding pictures next time I order again or even go and have some food in!!!! Pho is always beautiful!!!Banh mi is so crunchy and flavourful!!! But my favourite of all is the Bun cha nem!!!! Just thinking about it I’m getting hungry!!! Wow! The food here is really tasty, my wife and I are definetly coming back for more in the future. My wife had the BUN DAC BIET - chargrilled chicken - which she said was delicious, as the chicken was sweet, succulent and seemed fresher than most chicken from other places. This may be because - after asking the staff there - the chicken bought for the restaurant are fed on corn rather than grain or chicken feed. They also catered for my vegan diet here - which for a predominantly take out type restaurant is rare (I've found). I had the NOM - shredded green mango salad - which was prepared without animal products - without fuss - and was very refreshing. I also had the BANH MI - crispy tofu & avacado baguette - which had the avocados just how I like them not too hard and not too soft. The best thing for both of us was how fresh the food was and from the looks of the preparation area - from what we could see - this was surley a factor. See you again soon.

Ice coffee tasted really good Fried spring rolls are really good The noodle dishes were very bland, dispite it coming with a dressing. You should cover the noodle in sesame seed oil or something. They were just out of boiling water.

The hospitality was amazing and the food was tasty. As I had never had Vietnamese food, I was recommended by one of the staff members their best selling meal. The price is very convenient for the portions that you are given. I will definitely be coming back regularly to explore more of the amazing Vietnamese cuisines Doan Gia has to offer!

Came here for a take away as the usual Vietnamese place we normally go to was closed. Ordered the Special Banh Mi which was okay. The taste of the pork was decent however the actual banh mi itself was small and outside of the bread was hard compared to any other banh mi I have ever had. Also ordered the Pho Tom and was so disappointed! Only 5 small prawns, very little amount of pho, asked for extra chilli and herbs and little was given, and the worse was the broth. It tasted like herbal medicine! I will never eat here again and trust me I am chinese vietnamese myself. I would stick to the usual Vietnamese place we would normally go to call Lai Loi Street in New Eltham. Their pho you get 9 big juicy prawns and the broth is perfect exactly like the ones you get in Vietnam. Maybe this place is more catered for westerners but being asian myself this is a big let down.

OMG. We just ate dinner from here. It was AMAZING! Loads of taste. All really fresh. Good portions. They have mastered the hot and sweet mixes. Soo much better than every other local restaurant.

The food is delicious and healthy, plus the staff/owners are always super friendly. Definitely my favourite place to order from. I only have good things to say about Doan Gia :)

Delicious Pho and for a great price!

My neighbours recommended the food here and I'm so glad they did! Ordered food for delivery, arrived swiftly, beautifully presented and piping hot. Was so fresh and flavoursome, and really good value for money. Will most definitely be ordering again

So I have ate from here twice and my wife 3 times. The staff are lovely, the food seems freshly cooked to order and its very tasty. Both occasions I have had the Chicken Curry Com and its honestly one of the nicest dishes I have had. Its the perfect balance of not too watery and not too thick and the carrots, chicken and carrots are all large rather than tiny pieces, which I prefer. I hope they dont decide to change the recipe! I would love the dish to be about 25% larger (both rice and curry) but this is only because I am fat and greedy :) Update a couple of months later: Just ordered again tonight and to my surprise (and delight!) the dish is definitely 25% or more larger! It is now the perfect size and I am very pleased. This business has clearly listened to customer feedback. Also the dish is just as lovely as usual. Still 5 stars from me.

Me and my friend have been here almost every day for the last couple of weeks for lunch. The food is amazing and fresh. The service and staff are lovely. We are planning to go again next Tuesday and bring some more people with us. If you are vegan they have the Tofu & Avocado banh mi which is really good. Everything we have tried has been good and that's almost the whole menu. Would highly recommend.

Really good quality Vietnamese food! Fresh ingredients and big portions. The Vietnamese coffee and fresh juice was so good! Highly recommend. The grilled tiger prawns were 😍 full of flavour! Definitely will be coming back. Also well done for being eco-friendly and using paper straws and bags! My suggestion would be to offer 10% off drinks for people to bring their own reusable bottles as oppose to being given plastic takeaway cups. We all can do better to be more green and eco-friendly. #SaveThePlanet

I noticed Doan Gia just before lockdown but never got to try them and was delighted to see they were back open. Pho, banh mi, delicious spring rolls all served fresh, hot and reasonably priced. This is the vietnamese place I've been looking for and am delighted they're back open.

Just had to put a quick review on as I'm so happy that there is vietnamese food this good around the corner. Beef pho, pork spring rolls and the summer rolls were all delicious. Nothing was greasy it arrived hot to my door and was as food as any vietnamese food I have had in london. Seems a family run place as far as I can tell and staff were very helpful and friendly Highly recommended

Lovely food. We are in but they do takeaway and delivery. Trendy londonCafe style inside. Real wood etc. Just a couple of tables and a bench but we were made very welcome. Food was fresh, fragrant and authentic.

Tasty food and great service ! One item was forgotten in our take away order and we got it delivered at home. The food is great and fresh. The fish cake noodles with the fish broth is a must-have. A great addition to the menu would be King prawn nems (rolls) and GRILLED king prawns Banh Mi (baguette) for those who don't eat meat! Would be perfect! The staff is friendly and professional. Give it a go, you'll love it!

This is the third time that we have had takeaway from Doan Gia and I have to say that I am extremely impressed. The food has been consistently tasty and I would definitely recommend the tofu tomato stew (excellent if you are vegetarian). The summer rolls are also a favourite of mine. The service was very good too. Overall Doan Gia has been an excellent place for some tasty, healthy and clean Vietnamese food.

I order here regularly. Very nice special banh mi and bun dac biet in particular. I usually for the grilled pork option with all.

First time order from this new takeaway establishment and I was very impressed. I ordered the beef & chicken pho and pork summer rolls. Substantial for one and relatively cheap at £13 the pair. Food was very very fresh and well prepared. I would have liked a few more vegetables in the pho to be honest, which was very noodle heavy, but I am just splitting hairs to be honest as it was a great fresh tasting bowl of food. The broth comes separate to the veg/meat/noodles for you to combine when at home and ensure everything remains crisp. Will definitely be returning. Worthwhile stating that the menu is very small, but what they do they do very well. Think quality over quantity.

The food is really nice and i can have banh cuon which brings me so much joy. My preference is for bigger spring rolls but they tasted great still. It's a lovely decorated place also. I'll be back often.

Real authentic Vietnamese food. The pho is amazing and so tasty. The mango and prawn salad is just like it’s served in Vietnam. The menu is limited but I think that is all the better. What they do serve they do well. The summer roles and spring rolls are super tasty. The price was cheap! I would have paid more. I hope it stays in Blackfen it’s a real asset.

Came in here to order a takeaway one night after seeing it finally open and wanting to try it for a while. The menu is quite limited and there isn’t that many different dishes to choose from, I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing! I ordered one of the chicken rice-noodle dishes with spring rolls and it was really nice. I’d definitely like to try some of the other dishes on the menu

Have ordered many times now, most dishes. Amazing Special Bahn Mi, Bun Dac Biet, in particular. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. A cut above most others in the area.

Excellent Vietnamese takeaway...amazing food

Had Banh mi at lunch was best sandwich I’ve had in a long time, so went back and ordered the Pho for dinner, equally delicious. Staff are friendly and the place is very clean and modern.

This is like my 6th time eating Doan Gia, absolutely love it. The food is amazing and great value for money. Have tried their Pho, Banh Cuon, Banh Mi, grilled quails and chicken wings. All very tasty, my family love it and its so close to home! Hoping they do delivery soon!! Definitely recommended 👍🏻

What a gem, the local area needs a place like this! Vietnamese food is so fresh and healthy that this place raised my expectations and I'm glad to say it met it. We ordered 4 items, banh cuon which was very delicious, bun with grilled pork and OMG was the pork juicy and tender, the nom with chicken is free range, the vegetable and herbs in the salad was so morish it left you wanting more. One thing I wasn't expecting was the banh mi to be so mouth watering gooooood, we got the grilled pork special and no regrets there! The texture of the bread was crispy on the top and soft on the bottom, very good crunch to it but soft enough to merry all the textures together. Lastly dessert was Che Sen, was told that it was very good by my mother (very fussy Vietnamese customer), all food reviewed by my fussy Vietnamese family and that's saying something. Ultimately what you will receive is good quality food for the price you are paying and the price is very fair. We will most definitely order from here again but most importantly small family businesses like this needs local support and everyone should try Vietnamese food as it's so healthy and tasty, don't ponder on the idea, get yourself down there.

Well what a fantastic little gem in Blackfen. I have just eaten the Pho Dac Biet which was authentic and very, very tasty. Their portion was enough for two people and I shared mine. Will definitely becoming a regular customer.
