The best restaurants in Bexley London

Our first time and didn't disappoint, absolutely stunning food, we had Truffle Aranchi Mushrooms, Smoked Swordfish Salad then Octopus and Beef Ribs Ragu followed by Lemon Meringue Pie and Bread/Butter Pud with Pecans. Liked the way Maria went round all the tables getting feedback and all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere and very authentic. Will definitely visit again.

I wrote this on here as I would like to stay anonymous, I was in here for Christmas Day for the free Christmas meal they was offering to those alone at Christmas, and WOW I was honestly amazed at everything the meal was absolutely lovely after we all got some desserts and mince pies, tables was all set up lovely with Christmas crackers the staff that was on was so lovely and you can tell they was well and truly down to earth people. The young girl who bought my food out she was so lovely and made such a effort to go round to everyone and chat to them making everyone feel more then welcome, I truly can not put into words how much this meant to me (and everyone else there) I would usually spend Christmas alone I see in facebook then doing meals for people on there own or the homeless so thought to give it a go and if I’m honest I wasn’t expecting much from it seen as it was all for free, but they did well and truly put on a beautiful day for everyone who came and even got given chocolates to go home with. Thank you to everyone who worked on Christmas Day you all really did make my Christmas usually a day that would have been quite lonely and miserable for me turned into a great day for me I really can not thank you all enough I really do wish you all the best you are one amazing pub that continuously helps out the community. So thank you so much from the bottom of my heart god bless you all

Why does this place have such a high rating? The cafe just doesn't look right - the tables are dirty, the food is very plain and dry, when I asked for ketchup or sauce, they came late and almost empty... One old lady who was serving there was a bit weird... she kept calling me her best friend, then her son, she was kind of sucking up to me and not letting me eat in peace... I don't know, maybe in China where she is from, it's normal, but it bothered me

All the food was absolutely lovely; big portions and very tasty. We had a bottle of wine which was also very nice and it was all very reasonably priced. The cherry on the top, however, was the fantastic customer service. They were so wonderful and kind to our son, it was really special. As such, he ate more than he usually eats in a day in one meal, when he usually barely eats. Thank you! Will definitely be back!

On cold post Xmas morning- fabulous breakfast and dog-friendly so no sitting outside in the cold- light and warm decor it was a pleasure to come here

Had several visits prior to lockdown food always above average and special service from nice ladies would recomend.

We went for my mums 80th birthday and even though it was cold wet and windy outside the welcome inside couldn’t have been more warm and welcoming. The staff bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we needed, they even put up decorations that I dropped off the previous day. We had the festive afternoon tea and had a lovely pugs in blankets followed by countless sandwiches with so many fillings, followed by scones, fruit cake, mince pies and a platter of chocolates and sweets, not to mention the unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate!!! We were all left filling so full and was able to take a big box of left overs home with us. I really couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return again!!! Thank you ladies for all you did to make my mums day so special!!! Xx

What a cafe! Forget the usual Costa, Strabucks, Pret... There's real quality here, and you'll feel like at home. I went with family friends to buy food for a picnic (at Kew Gardens, which are amazing) and both the savoury and the sweet stuff were incredible. Italian style panini, avocado and dried tomatoes sandwich, vegan sausage rolls... All great, and the pastries too!

Quite a new establishment in the area. Came in for a takeaway coffee recently, but didn’t get any food so can’t comment on that. The coffee was nice and they seem to have a lot of fresh produce on offer. Seems like a nice concept, I wish them all the best.

Was passing through Wednesday and found this amazing place near toolstation amazing atmosphere brilliant food and what a pleasant couple, with a busy shop all the food comes out fresh and spot on. Highly recomend

Tasty food friendly staff and good value. Been a few time for breakfasts and baguettes for lunches. Nice to sit in and also takeaway.

The food was amazing. The service was impeccable. Definitely would recommend them. I had the small trays of Ayamashe, jollof rice, garnished chicken and fried rice (the prawns size - amazing).

Fab Irish bar in the heart of Sidcup, really nice atmosphere, the band were great and everyone (aside from me, who wasn’t Irish enough) was singing along ! Really enjoyed it !

Best cafe around for miles.Great food and service. Will become regular customers and recommend this friendly eating place
