Pot Pot in Wakefield

Had a pork bao Bun and a chicken bao bun - lovely fresh fillings, light fluffy bun. Daughter had a children’s chicken pho - same portion size as mine was, light fresh-tasting broth, plenty of noodles, herbs and chicken. I had a spicy pho with meatballs and beef - the broth was delicious, had lots of meat, loads of noodles and lovely fresh herbs. Got the medium portion, the smallest size available, but it was huge and we were both really full afterwards! Delivery chap v friendly, food hot. Fab!

Delicious! The smoked salmon summer rolls look so pretty and taste amazing. The Bun Dua Bo was wonderful. The broth is flavoursome, the beef is tender and tasty and the pickled vegetables add a lovely sharpness and texture. And the whole thing is healthy and not too heavy on the calories. Love it!

Ordered via uber eats. Ordered the pho xao chicken and salt and pepper tofu. The pho was supposed to be stir fried which is was definitely not. It was a soggy mess and was mostly onions ,it also had NO flavourings at all. The salt and pepper tofu was either soggy egg or yesterday's tofu as it was soggy, mushy and did not have salt and pepper Seasoning. Tried to recieve my money back through uber eats but was refused. I will remove my bad review if my order is refunded #93CA6 I have previously dinner in the restaurant which was a fantastic experience but this was disastrous. I do not recommend anyone order from here.

We stopped for food here on Saturday evening. The starters and main courses were delicious, fresh and home cooked l. The service was really good with very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend and we will certainly be going back!

Amazing sliced beef pho soup.... delicious. With sides as bean sprouts. It is more than beautiful. That soup is a soul soup. Atmosphere is amazing. Staff is so helpful and caring that I cannot imagine. Really recommend this place.

Driver came early and couldnt be bothered to knock on the door

This place used to be my favourite but the food quality worsened significantly The meet was too fat and overly fries even though looked good The vermicelli was nice as well But for £20 you expect more Very subjective so check for yourself

Regularly order for collection to take to work and the food is always great, good quality and tastes fresh. Even gave me some water and sweets as I wait for my order. Try the BBQ Beef Banh Mi

We visited Vietnam recently so hoped Pot Pot would remind us of our holiday. It did just that. My son and girlfriend also joined us for the meal which was delicious. The only negative was that there weren't many customers so the atmosphere was pretty dull. That said, it was early on a Tuesday evening and the woman who served us was interested to learn about where we visited in Vietnam . She was lovely and treated us like VIPs Perhaps traditional music would add to the ambience Definitely would recommend..x

Grateful to find a Vietnamese restaurant in Wakefield and it was brilliant. The food was superb and the service was great. Looking forward to going back when I move to Wakey.

Food was delivered so the ugly plate is mine, but the food is so good I could cry. Beef is tender and perfectly cooked, not the rubbery tough stuff you usually encounter. Food is extremely flavorful and delicious, and portions are generous. Will absolutely order again!

I visited recently to catch up with a friend and really enjoyed the food (and cocktails) here. The food and service was good. Only two desserts were left on the menu, but it was late in the day and the carrot cake was delicious, nevertheless. I can't wait to visit again!

This used to be really good a couple weeks ago, not sure what happened with my previous deliveries, they're giving less bean sprouts, switched out the birds eye chilli, and instead of lime I got a lemon, my order last week didn't have any sides with it is was just pho.. Please sort this because the pho used to be absolutely beautiful

Hi guys ordered a takeaway. Freezing on uber eats.. we warmed it up.. still not good.. maybe its a one off... the uber guy pulled up eating a kfc... maybe he picked up and got that.... but warmed back up was so bad

Rarely post any reviews for any restaurant perhaps the very first one! Incredibly delicious food beyond one’s imagination. There was a really friendly and hospitable atmosphere, which is very much appreciated. Best Vietnamese restaurant which I have been to in the country. Highly recommended! Will definitely go there again.

Quiet, peaceful and delicious food

The issue I had was I got a call from the restaurant stating they had no driver then they stated justeat wasn’t working properly (not sure which it was tbh). They gave me the option of cancelling and reordering but then i would have to wait for a refund which I wasn’t willing to do. In the end I went to go pick the order up so how do I get my delivery charge back since it wasn’t delivered? They were nice about it but I paid for delivery and it wasn’t delivered.

The “normal” restaurant food is good too, but this review is specifically about their Banh Mi, which they do as take-away or eat in. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, I’d recommend anyone gives it a go.

A real gem in Wakefield! The food tasted and looked authentic. After travelling to Vietnam, all I could think about is the food I had there. With this place just being at my door step, it really brought me back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Veggies are fresh, flavours are on point & love the fact you can alter portions if you find your regular order. This felt healthy while scratching the Takeaway itch. Absolutely cracking, may have found my new favourite!

The sandwich was large and full though taste wasn’t as good as usual. My side order looked like it had been opened with a bent up edge so packaging needs improving. Seal the bags maybe?

We were looking for somewhere serving food after 9pm on Sunday (when many places have stopped serving in Wakefield) and were able to get a table here straight away. It was our first time here so came with an open mind and with a little bit of experience with Vietnamese food, having worked in Vietnam for 9 months back in 2011. We weren’t particularly hungry, so ordered a starter to share (chicken skewers). Mains were chicken curry and fried noodles with chicken. Both mains came with a bowl of broth on the side. The service and food were absolutely faultless. The lady looking after our table attended to us perfectly. The flavours of every dish were spot on and we pretty much scoffed the lot! The decor is cute with lots of images of Vietnam. Tables nicely spaced out. Music at the perfect volume. Looking forward to our next visit!

Tastey as always. But!!! Portion size as halved. Unfortunately it's way too expensive now. I won't be ordering anymore food from there its not worth the money. What a shame.

Superb first experience of a Vietnamese meal .The meal contained lovely fresh ingredients and herbs to add to the dish.I would highjy recommend the duck wirh noodles in broth. We had a pot of Vietnamese tea which enhanced the meal and the experience .The staff were all very pleasant and I would recommend for a quick lunchtime meal.

I adore this restaurant. The food is delicious, they do massive portions, and really good prices. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Cosy atmosphere and the music isn't too loud.

The service was excellent, the waiter explained every dish we had ordered, he was polite and always had a smile. The food was superb, portion was huge! And that was their smallest size, so could definitely order bigger if very hungry or share. Definitely recommend!

Food fantastic. I would have given 5 stars for the service but I was scammed on the bill, I paid by card and ended up paying £7 more than the amount on the bill, I noticed at home. So check the amount on the terminal before you pay.

From the outside it looks small and bit warey but nice bright sign, inside it's decorated great looks nice and welcoming. The food is insane! The taste The flavour it was just amazing, I wish I could of eaten more ( portion size is big I had medium) definitely highly recommended. Great little food gem 💎

Unfortunately the food never even arrived and when I called the restaurant they told me to contact just eat who are really difficult to get through to. So can't comment on the quality of the food just hoping I get my money back.

I popped in here with my daughter for a quick meal before the cinema. It wasn't quite as quick as we thought, but everything was cooked fresh, and it still only took about half an hour. We asked for no coriander, and were happily accommodated, and the food was very tasty and good sized portions. Lovely cocktails, which were reasonably priced. Very nicely decorated, friendly and efficient staff.

I’m always delighted by Pot Pot’s delicious food. The Summer Rolls are full of fresh flavours and textures. The broth for the Pho is a superb base for the tender and tasty meat, noodles and herbs. Tonight we also had the rice with belly pork - the tastiest belly pork we’ve tasted in a good while. I love meals from Pot Pot because they are so delicious and also fresh and healthy.

This unassuming Vietnamese restaurant serves superb food with generous portions. The service is friendly and attentive. The cocktails are great value, especially the Vietnamese mojito, which is superb. I think these guys should consider setting up a bar as a side business... Highly recommended!

Visited last night for a meal with my wife and we loved it! Friendly service, fresh tasty food and reasonably priced. We had fresh salmon rolls and crispy squid to start, both were full of flavour, then 2 noodle bowls, one with chicken satay and the other crispy duck. We loved it all and will definitely be back!

Best takeaway by far in Wakefield, get a Banh Mi , never look back!

I regularly order food and eat in the restaurant there in POtT POT but today the portion of large food was the same size as medium and even smaller as they gave a few small pieces of meat a bit of source undercooked rice and not soup no broth at all.

Meals from Pot Pot are always delightful and this was no exception. The pork wrapped in betel leaf was a very tasty starter, with a delicious spicy (but not too hot) dipping sauce. The house special spicy broth with beef and pickled vegetables was a lovely surprise. They obviously use seasonal vegetables and this time it was Brussels sprouts which I absolutely adore. The rice with beef in curry sauce was delicately spiced and the perfect comfort food. The beef in both dishes was beautifully tender. We chose medium portions and they were very generous.

Loved it. Great beef wasabi roll to start. Prawn Mango salad Main. Banana and Ice cream pud. Lovely helpful staff. Clean tide restaurant. Very good dining experience.

Amazing food and great customer service

Food was decent but what really made this place was the excellent service I received from my waitress vena, she was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu and making recommendations.

Friendly staff and nice interior. Veg spring rolls were nice. Not greasy. Beef pho lacked flavour. Broth was bland. Condiments to add were uninspiring - some bean sprouts, two bits of chilli, mint leaves & lime wedge. Beef was thin slices you would use for a sandwich. Not worth the price. Had much better pho elsewhere. Wouldn’t go back

Absolutely love this restaurant! We've eaten in as well as opt for the takeaway option on a number of occasions and the food is always fresh and delicious with lots of flavour! The staff are very friendly and tentative, i'd highly recommend.

Lovely staff but the food and company was not great. Cheap and nasty quality of food. Feel sorry to give you one star but you should improve to the quality of ingredients. All dishes we ordered full of fat and taste of MSG ( monosodium glutamate ) too much.

I had pork skewers and Com Ga chicken and it was all delicious. Well pleased 😊
