Came in today for lunch, got the seitan pho and summer rolls for a great price. Was met with the best pho i’ve ever had. All home made including their sauces. Lovely service and atmosphere. This place is a gem.

Great Vietnamese food, I really like how they specify North Vietnamese and South Vietnamese food seperately on the menu as they are quite different, it's like eating in Hanoi from the 'North' menu and like eating in Ho Chi Minh City from the 'South' menu, such a great menu, good quality food and the most friendly service. The spring rolls are excellent as are the coconut sizzling platter, the Pho (of course) and Morning Glory all with refreshing Jasmine Tea. If you've traveled to Vietnam and yearn the food you won't go wrong here.

El tofu en salsa de coco con arroz jazmín es mi favorito. Puedo comer esto tres días a la semana. La salsa de coco es tan deliciosa y va bien con cualquier cosa! Su café vietnamita es excelente también. No te lo puedes perder si te gusta la comida vietnamita. El personal es muy amable, servicial y eficiente (especialmente los chefs! ) La propietaria de la tienda es muy acogedora y conocedora, ella le proporcionaría grandes recomendaciones para satisfacer sus gustos y preferencias. La higiene de Viet Guy es excelente. El personal limpiará y desinfectará cada mesa para cada cliente. Tengo el privilegio de visitar Viet Guy cada semana. best place around this is the most delicious food, there is not one thing we’ve had that’s bad. we get this takeaway at least twice a week and dining in is still amazing. the vegetarian options are endless. and the pho is amazing. very fresh ingredients and reasonably priced. couldn’t recommend enough ⭐️

Each dish is freshly cooked tastes so good and never ever disappointed ..I know the menu well yet never let down ..always good always fresh..always delious..I go most weeks and meet new people and regulars as once you find it you will return over and over again..Kevin the head chef and owner knows his flavours and Luat his wife and manager is so efficient..friendly and remembers you ...we are treated like family here..I value the excellent staff and good service they give always with big smiles...

Luv'ly staff. Cosy warm & friendly. We have tried a few dishes. My fav is the mango 🥭 rolls & coconut 🥥 cream dip. Yum delish.

We regularly drive half an hour in traffic to go to Viet Guy and have never had a bad meal. The best Vietnamese around. Great veg/vegan options too.

We've been coming here for ages. The food is really great. It's a real taste of Vietnam. Frankly, I don't know how they keep producing such flavours with such consistency. Salute. My recommendations: Rare steak pho Shaking beef (this deserves an award, honestly) Pak choi with tofu Just go and try it!

The food was great I highly recommend spring rolls. Service was great from the owners. There were mistakes but they were rectified immediately when asked. The place was nice and clean. Things to note is their opening times.

Amazing every single time! And we are talking a lot of times 😆 it’s definitely our favourite restaurant! Me and my daughter have been coming here for a long time and the food and service is always fantastic! We have our favourite dishes but i think everything from the menu is worth trying. My personal favourite is Coconut beef with rice and Shaken beef with steamed noodles. My daughter loves Bun ca with prawns and shaken beef as well. You also have to try their papaya salad which is out of this world!!! We normally get spring rolls and papaya salad to share for a starter. The portions are very generous so you will not leave hungry! Oh and the prices are more than reasonable. We love the Viet Guy 😍

I went in on Monday 14th October I have been here a fair few times the young staff are amazing and very polite but I am very disappointed in the owner as I witnessed him take one of the girls in the back amd could hear him raising his voice very loud at this poor member of staff as far I witnessed the girl was very polite and served our table extremely well I think this needs awareness as you can't treat people like idiots there young and probably still learning in life give them a break viet guy !!!!

I have not had Vietnamese food before. The food was really good and an absolute bargain. I cannot believe how fresh everything was and came with fresh herbs for you to add yourself. One of the best meals I have had for a long time and I suspect it was as good for you as it tasted.

Honestly, come here. You'll be amazed! This is my partner and I's favorite local restaurant. The prices are low and the portions are generous. Being a spice fiend, I love the table condiments they have. Staff are friendly and attentive. We usually eat in, but tried takeaway from here today. Usually other places dine-in vs takeaway experience portions vary wildly but at Viet Guy, you literally get the same portion you would as if you were dining in. We got free prawn crackers and a 5% discount too. 10/10 - see you soon Viet Guy <3

Insane food – genuinely the best Vietnamese scran I’ve had. The volume of veggie and vegan-friendly options was bonkers, and they definitely didn’t feel like a watered down or compromised version of something originally containing meat Staff were really, really lovely. Our server was super helpful and able to make some *perfect* recommendations for us. I fear we’ve found a new regular spot. Thanks so much!

La mejor comida vietnamita que hemos probado desde que nos mudamos al Reino Unido. Super auténtico, porciones generosas y un buen servicio, extra que tienen una sección de su restaurante que acepta perros también. Ojalá viviéramos más cerca para poder visitar más regularmente.

We’re regulars at Viet Guy. We adore their variety of Pho and Bun Ca, but as an ice cream enthusiast, I can’t recommend their Fried Ice Cream enough. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked and ordering it every time.

Best restaurant in Wythenshawe, hands down! The beef stew (bo kho) is to die for and the chargrilled meat dishes are also highly recommended too. I don't think they make anything that isn't 10/10.

Me and the Mrs went here last week for my birthday at recommendation from a friend. Gavin served me, top guy!! Never tried Vietnamese food before so was looking at the menu thinking what is all of this 🤣 took a punt on something on the menu. Great food, Mrs liked her's aswell and shes fussy. All tasted fresh, food was served fast so wasn't waiting forever (however wasn't packed when I was there) Tried the fried ice cream 👀 I wanted more but was too full🤣 Will come again at some point

We travelled from Scotland today with a view to flying from Manchester tomorrow to Corfu. Having seen some very good reviews of Viet Guy, we tried it out and found the food to be excellent. When we came to pay, we were told that the cash machine was out of order and we would have to pay by cash. We were able to do this and submitted the requisite amount in cash. We were subsequently told that they couldn't accept Scottish currency. We were not only annoyed but very embarrassed by this and had to source a nearby cash dispenser. What an absurd and ridiculous rule! Despite the good food, we won't be returning.

I went here spontaneously and I don’t regret it at all. We came in pretty late, about 9pm and they still served us. I could tell they were going to close soon but we were not made feel rushed. Service was good and the staff were nice and accommodating. The food was incredible and delicious and there was pickled garlic on the table (Recommend) I had the chicken spring rolls with noodles and we also had an appetiser, summer spring rolls. I really recommend them because they are fresh and crunchy, great for hot weather or just in general. I will definitely come back here soon, and again and again!

Fabulous food, fabulous service. We went to the restaurant to try new cuisine and heard great news about it and we were not disappointed. The soup and spring rolls were highlight of the meal for me. My daughter who is a very fussy eater loved the food. Served by Pheebs, who was amazing. She explained the menu for us, checked make sure we was ok asking if we needed extra drinks when we’d finished. She could see we’d not eaten everything and got us takeout containers so we could bring food home with us. Lovely friendly restaurant and can see by how packed it was that it’s good. Cannot wait to come back and sample more dishes.

Dinned last night at Viet guy food was ok the problemb was my husband ordered the Vietnamese coffee hot one when it arrived we was shocked at the small amount it was also cold, we complained to the waiter how disappointing w was and to charge £4.50 was a ripe off so we asked the waiter to change the drink which he did when we went to pay our bill the girl on the till inquiry why we didn't like the coffee she replied that's the way we make it here so don't order it again if you come again I was unhappy with her reply having visited Vietnam and also visiting this restaurant before when the measurement was much more generous it's a shame it spoiled our evening.may not return due to the response of the girl on the till.

We had a really good night there. Both the starters and main were really good. The seitan dishes were excellent. The service is was excellent. The checked up on us and were really helpful explaining the menu to us. Can't wait to go back.

I didn't think anywhere in Manchester could compete with VietShack. But VietGuy is a hidden gem. Walked past at lunch, and it was very busy, ordered a couple of dishes and it was delicious. The prawn summer rolls were awesome.

Immense flavour! They are able to cater for milder palates also and have a fantastic range of Gluten free options. Staff showed good knowledge of allergens in dishes and conscientiously checked up when unsure

The pho had an exceptional depth of flavour to it, salt and pepper squid for starter was full of flavour and homemade lemonade was tasty and refreshing. Staff were friendly and helpful and there's free parking outside (if there's a space) on Sundays! Looking forward to our next visit already

Poped in for lunch with my family , we had a nice warm welcome by the owner Wendy and the service from the staff was great . Had the lunch time special of coconut sizzling chicken which was delicious and great value for money . Definitely will be heading back soon .

To say plain and simple - it was great. Fast service, great food, good beer and well priced. First thing what I liked when saw menu - no chips, chicken nuggets or other crap what usually is introduced in menus just to lure in more people. So that was first hint that food will be great. For starters we shared Bún bò hué soup. Bowl is huge and could easily be as main dish for majority of people. After that and beer each (only two options available, but both are really good) came the mains. Bún hà nòi (vermicelli noodles with pork and nuts + some salad on side) and Bún sài gòn (stir fry with duck on top of vermicelli). Both tasted amazing and we are sure of return to try other mouth watering offers.

The food and service is always great, but my favourite thing about Viet Guy is their children's menu - adult food made kid friendly! My toddler loves the fried rice which is carefully prepared for little ones with the meat cut really small, minimal salt but bursting with herbs and ginger for flavour. Would recommend the Summer rolls here too - they're delicious!
