If there is a finer sandwich out there I have yet to meet it. Really fresh ingredients and authentic Vietnamese tastes.

Really good flavours and quality ingredients (I had the tofu salad with the miso dressing) . Sadly the service was really poor. I had asked when I went in if I should just sit anywhere and the guy serving was so unwelcoming that almost walked out. Turns out it was counter service but, as nobody told me that on entry, I sat there for ages wondering what was going on and feeling a bit stupid. The other thing was that when my food arrived, I was given a small wooden disposable fork. This made the noodles and long strips of cucumber super tricky to eat, adding to the discomfort of the whole experience. Why not best provide real cutlery? And why a plastic glass for my water? On the shelves they were selling expensive artisan pottery, but serving things in disposable containers? It didn't make sense and seems like they just can't be bothered. Such a shame with such delicious food and a niche market. I don't think I'd go back unless changes were made.

Best sandwich ever! So good. Onion Baji was crispy and light, pickle was sweet and sour. Absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend.

This little gem quite literally has one of the best bahn mi’s in the world. The employees were very helpful and friendly and the sandwich was absolutely delicious. A must when visiting Edinburgh

We stayed a stones throw from this place and boy was it a joy. One day we planned a hike to the top of Author’s Seat and got provisions. With summer rolls, the fishy one and next level vegan we were off. With some drinks and the view it was a great walk and picnic. The food was awesome and so refreshing. I think the next level was better than the fishy, we both loved the avocado summer rolls. The staff was very helpful and patient with our orders, so many smiles. Next visit we will be back and let anyone know where they can get a great break from the more common fair around. Especially for tasty healthy take away!

Found through Google late on a Friday afternoon. I think we caught them close to closing time as they were missing a few bits of stock, however they put together two delicious sandwiches for us. Lots of new ingredients for us that combined to make two very different sandwiches that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend for a takeaway sandwich option! When searching for it, note it is on East Market Street, in the arches underneath Jeffrey street. We approached down Jeffrey street so it took us a little longer to find it having not visited the arches before.

The absolute best sarnies in town! I love a sandwich and of all the sandwiches I love, I love a Banh Mi the most. The authenticity of these are amazing. The ingredients are off the scale. I could eat the homemade pickle by the bucket. I almost always have the pork (which is amazing) but I took a chance on a recommendation of "the fishy one" today and it was a just beautiful taste sensation of unexpected but harmonious flavours.

This is a great place when you're in the town centre and want to grab a bite when you can't take anther Subway! There's no comparison really. Everything just tastes so fresh, like a flavour bomb has gone off in your mouth! The staff are friendly and happly to help with you build your bahn mi which can be a little daunting the first time.

One of the best bahn mi's i've had outside of Vietnam. Simple, fresh ingredients with some nice little additional options (cashew nut paste instead of mayo, pate, pork crackling for example). Approx 6 GBP per sandwich which is about average in central edinburgh. Quirky little space also and the owner is super friendly. 100% making this a weekly trip for lunch

Awesome sandwiches with a Vietnamese twang, all fully customisable. I highly recommend 'the fishy one' , the homemade wasabi mayo is amazing! Top lads that own and run the show too. Awesome spot for a quick fresh sandwich. Most definitely will be back!

This was a chance find, happened to be staying Down rd from here and thought we’d try a sandwich. FANTASTIC!! So much so, that on my 2nd trip to Edinburgh with my 2 sons, I had to “find” it again, twice actually 😋😂. Very friendly service and lovely tasty Vietnamese inspired sandwich. People, seek out this place and give it a try, you will not be disappointed, eat in or take out, and they do a great flat white as well. See you next time I’m in Edinburgh 👍🏼

I don’t normally write reviews but had to make an exception for this place. Very friendly and welcoming owners andTHE MOST amazing sandwiches! I fell totally in love with the flavour of their original Bahn Mi and have honestly not had one that could battle it in a very long time! The availability of Vietnamese coffee is a huge bonus too, really jolts your awake! They also have a great selection of vegan options, which I actually can’t wait to try despite not being vegan! Oh, and if their sandwiches don’t tickle your fancy, you can always create your own! Honestly, incredible place! A MUST for everyone in Edinburgh!

Bahn Mi are made fresh to order, they are delicious and fresh and there’s plenty of veggie and vegan options as well as traditional meat options. There is also a build your own bahn mi which is a lovely idea. The location is small but beautiful and there’s a few seats to eat in or you can takeaway. Staff were lovely!! Will definitely be back if I come back to Edinburgh soon

Lovely, simple, tasty food. I had dinner before catching a train at Haymarket. It was quiet and the service was good, and it felt like a quiet and relaxing place. My stir-fry was tasty. Very happy.
