First time in this snack bar and I can only say that everything was excellent. The dishes are varied and very delicious and I confirm that it is indeed homemade. I highly recommend it. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.
Chaskaa is my number 1 curry take away service. Like most Indian curry lovers, I have tasted many curries throughout Edinburgh and Chaskaa Punjabi Murgh - one of their specials is the best I have ever had and will continue to have. Their Chicken Pakoras are the best we have ever had, just as the onion bhajis were delightful. I have recommended this place to work collogues who have visited the restaurant to eat in and loved my recommendation: Karahi, Punjabi Murgh, both dishes they loved. I have been in the restaurant to collect my order and the staff are the best, I mean really could not get nicer people, very friendly and who take the honour of serving you, the same goes for the delivery person , we have seen a few different drivers and every single one of them makes you feel like 5 star service, the food, the packaging, the staff, everything is perfect. I would recommend. Just an FYI, you get money back on each order, its like a points loyalty system, on average we get £2 on each order back into our chaskaa account, it feels great after a few orders you end up with a free curry or even a free meal.
had previously given a good review as when we'd been before it was lovely but our last visit was disappointing. there was only a few people in and our food took forever even though we only ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic bread.
the bread took so long we ended up asking for it to go.. eventually after an hour after finishing the pizza we had to leave as our parking was expiring.. we realised the garlic bread was sitting on the counter in a takeaway box but nobody had given it to us. wonder how long it sat there! proper weird
a shame as pizzas used to be great but this time, it wasn't worth it at all :(
We chanced on this beautiful cafe and we were so glad we did.
The salmon croissant with goat cheese was the best ever!
And so was the quiche ...
I am here for a few days but would definitely like to come here once before I leave.
Phenomal food, burgers are top teir, great selection of salads and sauce. Service was great as well very polite and welcoming, Lynne even gave me free haggis on the burger which was unreal. Will be there every time I pass the retail park
100% recommend this little cafe, staff were more than friendly and very attentive. Food was top tier, we had the Full Scottish and it was a generous portion. Set us up for the day nicely.
Gorgeous food and fabulous service by the lovely Lily (and the great barman with the fab beard whose name we did not get - sorry .!). Thank you for a wonderful evening - we will be back x
Instagram photos donāt always tell the truth. While service and wine were very good, the food was a big disappointment. Look very pretty on the plate (for instagram) but none of the dishes were memorable or flavourful.
We were in Edinburgh for six days, celebrating our 51st Wedding Anniversary and chose Eòrna for a special night out; it turned out to be our best meal during a 16-day trip around Great Britain and France! The restaurant is essentially two guy friends who do it all---one is the chef, the other is the sommerlier. They do everything from set-up to clean-up. The restaurant only seats 12 persons and is a hard-to-get reservation but totally worth the effort. The night we were there, they featured an eight-course meal plus wine pairings (optional) that was prepared right before your eyes, while you are seated at a long, somewhat "U-shaped" bar. Brian, who is the chef, works throughout the evening and engages guests in conversation, but is not instrusive; he welcomes questions and offers information about each course as it is served. Glenn is the sommelier--very knowledgable about wines and able to make excellent recommendations whether you choose the wine pairings or not---wines are also available by-the-glass or bottle. Both Brian and Glenn serve the courses, and Glenn doubles in-between courses as a sort of host, engaging guests to the extent that is appropriate; he is never instrusive, but yet quite interesting to speak with, especially about food and wines.
One of the things that makes Eòrna special is that--first--the food is a work of art! Every course is beautifully presented, along with a brief explanation. And--secondly--Brian manages to pull off something that a lot of tasting menu-type chefs cannot do: he prepares dishes that not only LOOK good, but also TASTE good! This is a team that manages to do both, which is a rarity. We have had disappointing experiences in the past where you "tasted" the food first with your eyes, but then--on the tongue--the actual taste was a disappointment. This is NOT that place!
We highly recommend Eòrna! It's a gem on the food scene in Edinburgh and the UK!

Had a lovely dinner here, mocktails delicious, we tried the elote, quesadilla, fish taco, beef taco and pork taco. All was so yummy, service was great, was busy but got in just in time to be sat down.
We sat at the bar, nice to see the food being prepared. Great music and vibes
Loved it! Highly recommend
Lovely little cafe, with friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of food. It was a perfect place to meet friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group ordered a wide variety of choices from the menu including the soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake and tea - all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the owl cushions very comfy. You could miss it walking by, but well worth searching it out and popping in. It extends a way back - a bit of a tardis for seating.
What a lovely wee find of a cafe to have a cuppa and you missy have one of there lovely cakes .. Just what we needed on a cold Sunday afternoon . Thanku ++++
