The service was superb. We asked for recommendations for our gelato selection and were totally wowed by them. Salted caramel kinder bueno in doughnut and salted caramel w banana peanut butter waffle. Totally sinful but worth it. We also had fruit and cream waffle. The waffles were soft and fluffy. Perfect afternoon dessert.

Super friendly server who helped us pick our flavours - I had the dark chocolate and strawberry. Delicious!

Excellent gelato! One of the best I’ve had, globally! The staff is cute and welcoming, they have Gluten Free options and the Vanilla is extraordinary.

After receiving a recommendation from a friend I had high expectations. Smoov not only met but far exceeded anything I could have hoped for. Staff are the kindest, the interior is beautiful and tables are clean. Prices are more than reasonable, with my waffle portion being larger than I anticipated. Beautiful presentation and by far the best waffle I’ve ever had!

Unfortunately this visit was disappointing. The filled donuts were not what is advertised. Been here before and it was amazing. You would thing with the £1.50 price increase they would keep the standard. Three donuts at £6.50 each with hardly any ice cream in them.

Fantastic gelato and wife also had an ice cream donut which she said was delicious. Portion size of ice cream was generous and tastes delicious, particularly the salted caramel. Been back a few times. Also good as opens later than many other ice cream shops.

I had the salted caramel & Masagascan vanilla with sprinkles, caramel sauce & marshmallows. It was DELICIOUS! If you're a gelato fan I would definitely recommend this place. My mum & sister had the gelato filled doughnut & they were very impressed.

We were looking for a cafe to stop for a treat and came across this one. We couldn't of been happier with our choice. Kinder Bueno and Oreo gelato donuts! Absolutely delicious! Great treat and kids loved it. Service was great.

Drinks were not good at all. Shake was too liquidy: just milk and raspberries, no ice cream. I threw it away as soon as we went outside. Hot chocolate was just warm water w no chocolate. My wife threw that away too. Service was slow, order was also incorrect. Good items looked pretty good, but we didn’t order one of those.

I went here with my partner for Waffles and my god they were amazing! Best waffles I've ever had , I could happily eat there everyday. Will definitely be going back on my next visit to Edinburgh.

Yes, I had breakfast here with my friends. The taste of the food is sweet but the level of sweetness is acceptable and delicious. Not feeling chemical. Good for instagram. But we also ordered some sweet drinks. Next time you should try tea with the dessert.

The gelato was to die for!! I had a banana and fudge sundae, and my friend had a vanilla nutella gelato donut, they were delicious and you could see that the ingredients were freshly prepared, service was fast, overall a great place.

A little bit different to your average gelato shop, the donut filled with ice cream went down a treat as did the strawberry cone ice cream which was delicious also. A tad little bit slow service was the only down point.

My husband loves ice cream and he is also very picky when it comes to any sweets, but he just can’t walk past Smoov without treat himself with their home made ice cream. They have the best cranachan ice cream I ever tried! I highly recommend this place!

My friend and I were craving something sweet. Would definitely recommend the Strawberry and Nutella waffle. It’s not sickly sweet and the strawberries add a bit of sourness to break the sweetness of it all. Also if you’re from across the globe, an ice coffee here is like an iced long black and Ice latte is with milk. Made the mistake of purchasing and Iced Coffee. Great service too

I had a massive craving for a fresh waffle and upon seeing the good reviews for this place decided to pay them a visit. I was not disappointed!I ordered the nutella and strawberry waffle with chocolate gelato - it was SO good! Really surprised it was GF. Super fresh and fluffy. Really satisfied all the cravings. 15% student discount made the price reasonable. The interior of the cafe was also pretty nice! I also ordered an americano with my food. I must say that this was the only thing that could have been better. I love a strong coffee and the coffee on this occasion was quite watery. Dropped by in the evening along with my husband and son, for a quick snack of some waffles and we opted for Monte Cristo along with coffee and tea... It was delicious with crisp bacon flavoured with raspberry sauce... It was a welcome change from the waffles with maple syrup that I am used to... Loved it... Service was in point... I must mention that in my haste J had left my handbag behind... Shortly afterward when my son had gone looking for it, that had kept it safe and handed it over promptly...

En la old town, hot chocolates buenísimos, helados, batidos y cualquier tipo de bolleria. Muy acogedor

On cherchait désespérement un endroit où prendre un gouter (les autres endroits étaient pleins) et nous sommes tombé par hazard dans ce petit coffee shop cosy et trés sympatique. L'endroit est chaleureux, le personnel est super sympa, le serveur nous à même fait gouter des glaces gratuitement, il y a beaucoup de choix et les plats donnent vraiment envie, pour une fois les photos des plats n'étaient pas mensongère. Vu ce que nous avons vu dans les autres coffee shop, je trouve que le rapport qualité prix et plus que correct vu l'originalité de ce qu'il propose. Allez-y sans problème.

We stumbled across Smoov while roaming Edinburgh and popped in to see what it was like. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. We got some gelato and it was *heavenly* especially the espresso flavour! I'd certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a treat and a cuppa, combined with a positive and friendly vibe.

Stopped in with thw kiddos to grab some pancakes and waffles and it was awesome! Nice chill atmosphere, staff super friendly and loved the pork and pickles waffle sandwich! Sounds crazy but was awesome!! Kiddos loves the pancake tower with gelato and cinnamon waffles. Lattes were great too!!
