Truly outstanding meal and service!

We had a fabulous early Christmas lunch here with my elderly parents. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was so friendly and efficient. We were really well looked after and will definitely be recommending it. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Best cocktails around Edinburgh and great staff. Best whiskey sours ive had in a long time. The venue itself is unique also accompanied by good tunes.

What an amazing restaurant. My top favourite food experience in Edinburgh, wish i knew about it in my first day. Mark was such an amazing person who was kind in help us to choose the right food. Definitely will visit it again whenever i come to Edinburgh.

We had early breakfast in this small deli with our family of 5. Menu and the whole experience were something out of the ordinary. Everything was made to order and really good, for example the wonderful toasted strawberry and brie filled croissant. We enjoyed also the thoughtful service as we ordered even something outside of the menu. Prices reasonable.

Sehr leckere Sandwiches, die frisch zubereitet und getoasted werden. Es gibt auch vegane Optionen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert als Frühstück oder Snack zwischendurch.

From the same premises with a similar style of cuisine, Bistro Coco continues to serve high quality food and is already building on its renewed 5* review rating via TripAdvisor. De bediening was vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Het eten was perfect klaargemaakt en bijbehorende wijn was goed gekozen en geserveerd

Cada vez que visitamos Edimburgo siempre desayunamos / almorzamos en el número 7 (anteriormente Café Class). ¿Por qué? Simplemente, es el mejor desayuno vegano que hemos tomado y es muy consistente. Los precios son muy razonables y el servicio es muy amable y eficiente. Escribo esto el sábado 12 de abril por la noche y espero el desayuno de mañana. 5 minutos a pie por Lothian Road, ¡valdrá la pena caminar! : ) )

¿Qué puedo decir la salchicha de inicio y médula ósea fue uno de los mejores ive comido, había probado previamente la lengua principal de carne de res y estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. El servicio fue excepcional una tarde brillante

Food was good value for the price but let down by lack of decor and lack of drinks available. Wouldn’t go back.

We visited this beautiful wee gem tucked away in this pleasant suburb of Edinburgh: Newington. The lovely couple who own it ( and two sister restaurants in the city) explained they have changed their emphasis to wine by the glass or bottle with upmarket snacks from local high quality suppliers such as Iain Mellis cheese. We loved the cosy autumn into winter vibe: beautiful tasteful lighting enhanced this. They have a truly fabulous selection of wine to suit all tastes. We can’t wait to go back!

Good bar. Good choice of cocktails. Reasonably priced. Nice laid back atmosphere. Did not eat here so cannot comment on food.

We did the chefs table and what an experience watching emma hanley at work was amazing she would then tell us about each course. The food was out of this world and even though the pass was busy emma had plenty of time to chat about the food and gives details on how the dish was made and the idea behind the dish. Would highly recommend
