If you're in the area and need good grub for breakfast or lunch you won't go wrong with Nourish. Big, tasty sandwiches that definitely hit the spot!

This is a great little place, particularly for take away sandwiches, soups and coffee. They’ve an extensive selection of fillings for their sandwiches and around three soups. There’s limited seating mostly at long benches. Prices are very reasonable and staff are happy and friendly despite being very busy.

The staff are always lovely while consistently dealing with a constant stream of customers at lunch times every day that they're open. The constant stream is due to their speedy system of order and pick up, though, and the toasted sandwiches especially are always very good quality (especially for the same price as a meal deal)! Really easy to take-away anything, but also lovely for sitting and people-watching out the steamy windows or catching up with a friend. Highly recommend.

Always love it when Fed feed us! Lovely big sub rolls with great fillings - not run of the mill at all. Traybakes are yummy too and big fruit platter. Highlight recommend.

Absolutely loved the experience of the Chefs Table, it felt very personal with Chef Emma explaining the dishes. All the staff who looked after us were knowledgable and we felt very well looked after.

We visited this beautiful wee gem tucked away in this pleasant suburb of Edinburgh: Newington. The lovely couple who own it ( and two sister restaurants in the city) explained they have changed their emphasis to wine by the glass or bottle with upmarket snacks from local high quality suppliers such as Iain Mellis cheese. We loved the cosy autumn into winter vibe: beautiful tasteful lighting enhanced this. They have a truly fabulous selection of wine to suit all tastes. We can’t wait to go back!

Stopped off here between Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows for a spot of late lunch (it is near the Cameo cinema where the Film Festival is hosted). What a treat! Friendly, welcoming staff and an appealing menu with a mild Turkish slant. The vegetable soup was outstanding, the goat's cheese salad was fresh, tasty and generously sprinkled with a variety of seeds and my partner raved about the bacon roll and tea. What's not to like.? Everything on the menu looked equally delicious. The prices were frankly modest. A most enjoyable light lunch.

Food was good value for the price but let down by lack of decor and lack of drinks available. Wouldn’t go back.

Good good. Nice to see the menu changing. The location is a bit soulless - at the top of a shopping centre. Maybe the food and central location makes up for it??
