Amazing steak crepes! The fact that they were 100% gluten free was necessary for us but our non gf family agree that they were delicious too! Fresh ingredients prepared in front of us and the chef even added some extra ingredients for us! Lovely to hear his story too- how nice to meet such a friendly guy. We can 100% recommend and we will return soon I hope.

Cute place that used to be a police box. 100% gluten free eats here. They have crepes stuffed with all kinds of yummy goodness. I tried the Chicken Curry Piri-Piri. The flavors blended perfectly and it was worth the long walk in the rain to get it. They have a little seating area next to it but it's all exposed to the elements. After you eat you can always go for a stroll through the Middle Meadows Walk or just people watch.

I cannot say enough nice things about this wonderful little pop up restaurant. I have a difficult diet - gluten free, dairy free, garlic and onion free. They were more than happy to accommodate despite being very busy. I had the most incredible chicken and sweet potato crepe with a delicious smoothie. I wanted to go back every day of our visit! I will definitely return when I’m back in Edinburgh. Thank you for the wonderful lunch, ladies!

Having walked past the green police box on literally thousands of occasions, finally stopped to buy a crepe. Absolutely delicious and full of filling. Lots of schoolchildren coming to buy chocolate crepes. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious and well worth the wait if there’s a line! Make sure you bring cash and small change if you’ve got it! Pricing is reasonable - anywhere from around 3 to 7 pound per crepe. Quite a range of choice - all of which are well filled and smoking hot! Also, it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for sweet or savoury, because they got ‘em both. I mean damn, there are some great little places in the vicinity, but I reckon I’d go for Tupiniquim above the rest.

Båda goda men rekommenderar att smaka den med kött, den var otroligt god. Vill du ha en lättare lunch är detta en perfekt plats att gå till. Tips. De säljer inte dryck, men på gatan nedanför finns en närbutik.

Teníamos la margarita ta ta - queso de cabra, espinacas, aguacate, mozzarella y tomate seco; y una versión de eso con pollo sazonado. Fueron tan buenos que mi OH regresó por un segundo. Hubiera agregado un poco de sal y pimienta a la mía, pero eso es un gusto personal.La señora fue amable y nos habló de su bar / restaurante 'The Dog House'. No tuvimos tiempo para ir, pero definitivamente habría ido por más comida brasileña si no hubiera estado tan cansado

Mis amigos se burlan de mí por / siempre / venir aquí. Incluso si no estoy cerca, si tengo tiempo suficiente para subirme a un autobús para pasar la caja, siempre encontraré mi camino a Tupiniquim. Y ahora que ya no vivo en Edimburgo, definitivamente cada vez que pase por la ciudad incluiré suficiente tiempo en mis planes de viaje para parar aquí (o su nueva cocina, ¡Tupi Kitchen en el pub Dog House!) .Especialmente a la hora del almuerzo, la espera puede durar más de 20 minutos, pero siempre vale la pena. Bonificación adicional si eres celíaco, ya que todo está libre de gluten (y casi todo se puede hacer sin lácteos / vegano si es necesario también). Pero no tienes que ser GF para disfrutarlo: ¡nunca he tomado a alguien para comer aquí sin convertirlos en fanáticos de por vida!

Estuve fuera durante el Fringe a la hora del té y esta fue la única opción sin gluten que pude encontrar en la zona. Estaba muy ocupado y desafortunadamente en el bullicio, un par de turistas que habían estado detrás de mí fueron atendidos primero, pero esto fue mi culpa, ¡debería haber sido más firme! El caballero del quiosco fue absolutamente maravilloso, muy amable y feliz. Incluso le dijo a un grupo grande detrás de mí que permanecería abierto solo para ellos a pesar de que era hora de cerrar, y les dio un descuento grupal. Cuando me di cuenta de que no tenía efectivo después de hacer cola durante 20 minutos, me mortifiqué, ¡pero él dijo que podía pagarle mañana! Por suerte mi amigo llegó justo entonces y me cubrió. Ese tipo de confianza es inaudito en otros lugares. Mi crepe estaba delicioso y bien de precio. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

The savoury crêpes are to die for, you may have a 20 mins wait at the meadows,(not so at the Doghouse) but believe me it's well worth it! Best GF food on the planet IMHO.

I eat there regularly and it's always fantastic. Fernando and Gardenia make amazing crepes and are very friendly. There's a menu but you can also tell them what you prefer and they do their best to accommodate you. Obrigada for the lovely tasty food 😀

One of our party is gluten free and this tiny booth was perfect - she tried both sweet and savoury crepes on two occasions and both were excellent. Service is very friendly as well. Convenient if you are attending the Fringe Festival.

Generous, creative, full of taste. This is the second year we visit that small stall sort of little shed place. The variety is amazing. Some vegetarian and some curry, chilly, sweet,... That lady definitely knows how to make a great crepe. Must-Try.

Amazing crepes, cooked in a little tiny stand. The food was super tasty and the owner was lovely - happy to adapt anything on the menu (e.g. spice level... !) Highly recommend this little gem!!

Loved the gluten free options in Edinburgh but this little hut topped them all. All crepes are GF but again who would know. Savoury, crispy and just divine. The owner is a coeliac so everything is GF. The best crepes ever!!!! Hubby loved his and he normally can’t stand anything GF. My heart sings for the experience x

Made sure I had a gap in my Fringe schedule of shows to enjoy a margarita crepe from here as I adore anything with goats cheese in it. Was asked if I wanted it spicy & I said yes, even though I hadn’t found the sauce especially spicy in the past. Walked through the meadows devouring my delicious crepe which was hot and very spicy as it seemed to have jalapeños in it (which I hadn’t noticed before). I adore jalapeños so was perfect for me. Will definitely make another visit (or two) before I leave the fringe

I last visited this Brazilian creperie about 3 years ago when I was back visiting family for the festival with an American friend. When I knew I’d be back this year and nearby I matched my partner to here for lunch. My memories of the fantastic food and fabulous Brazilian hospitality are second to none.

Loved this place. It’s a small trek south of the main tourist area, near the university. Absolutely worth a stop especially for celiacs! Steak and cheese option with spicy sauce was excellent, and big enough my husband and I had to split it (they created 2 separate plates for us :)) Probably my favorite meal in Edinburgh! Do it!

Everything is tasty, fresh and big! The prices are fine and the kiosk is very cute, so do go for a quick lunch!

Un caratteristico chiosco, sotto un bellissimo albero che gli dona un po' di ombra, ove é possibile gustare delle crêpes "gluten free", dolci o salate, veramente buone, ma, almeno per i miei gusti e di mia moglie, un po' scarse di ingredienti, seppur gli stessi siano stati molto buoni e freschi. Dall'ordinazione-pagamento alla consegna della crêpe, sono passati circa 20 minuti, seppur non erano presenti le persone; secondo me, la gente aveva ordinato prima e si era allontanata per poi ripassare all'ora prestabilita; a ciò si aggiunge anche gli ordinativi con "Deliveroo". A questo inconveniente si è poi aggiunto un altro, dovuto all'impossibilità di sedersi per mangiare, in quanto non erano presenti nelle immediate vicinanze delle panchine. Comunque, mi permetto di consigliare la visita al chiosco, con assaggio della crêpe.

Trovare il Tupiniquim è stato davvero un sogno: tutte le crepes sono totalmente gluten free e deliziose. La gentilezza e la disponibilità della proprietaria condiscono il tutto.

Nous avons pris 2 crêpes sucrées une au double chocolats et l'autre fruits rouge fraise et double chocolats. Super bonne ! La pate a crêpe super bonne aussi! D'ailleurs je n'avais jamais goûté ce genre de pâte. Le monsieur était vraiment gentils.

Wonderful fresh food. Best crepes I’ve ever had. They have savory and sweet crepes both. Very reasonable. There are a few chairs outside to sit in. Owners are so nice. Favorite place!

This Police Box street food place is the best place to go for street food in Edinburgh. Their crepes are delicious and I f you can go on a Saturday make sure you try the Brazilian feijoada, it’s to die for more.

Una buena opción para comer algo rápido y sano en el almuerzo. Tiene algunas opciones saladas para todos los gustos y otras dulces. Yo probé una salada de pollo con verduras y estaba riquísimo, además de estar bastante bien de tamaño. Tardan un poco en hacerlo, unos 20' aproximadamente, pero merece la pena. Los precios están entre 5-7 libras.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo mangiato in questo chiosco poco fa. Buonissimo, ingredienti freschi e leggeri e prezzo super abbordabile (6£ a crêpe circa). Andateci, non ve ne pentirete! Io vi consiglio la crêpe vegetariana "Margherita". Il mio ragazzo ha mangiato la steak crepe: buonissima la carne a detta sua ma sconsiglia il doppio formaggio perché rende il tutto un po' troppo pesante.

During my time as a student in Edinburgh Ive been to Tupiniquim several times, and their crepes never seized to amaze me.

Petit stand aux crêpes brésiliennes EXCELLENTES : naturellement sans gluten, options végétariennes et vegans, salées comme sucrées donc aucune raison de ne pas tester. Juste à côté de l'université donc idéal comme repas rapide avant de retourner en bibli. Testez la Pumpkin a la Papai : c'est un délice.

After reading reviews on here I visited whilst in Edinburgh and it surpassed expectations - fantastic for a filling lunch. So friendly and welcoming and always busy. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city for something a little different and made fresh in front of you.

Un piccolo locale a due passi dal parco che serve una sorta di crepes/piadina brasiliana con molteplici possibilità di farcitura. Ingredienti freschissimi e di prima qualità rendono il prodotto molto buono. Considero conveniente, se rapportato alla zona, anche il rapporto qualità prezzo.

The food is so good and it’s made fresh in front of you! They use good quality ingredients which you can taste in every bite.

My dad and I went here after a day of sight-seeing. He got the ham and cheese and I got the Piri Piri chicken. Then for dessert, he got the one with berries and dark chocolate and I got the one with banana, peanut butter, and nutella. They had excellent, cheerful service despite being busy and having sold out of some of the flavors when we got there. I would go here again!

Yum!! Perfect crêpes! We had one with double chocolate and one with chicken avocado. Very good! Sweet staff and we could sit in the sun while we waited for our crepes to be ready.

Cuando vimos cómo lo fue clasificado en la ciudad, la decisión fue hecha para nosotros. Llegamos cerca de la hora de cierre, pero la señora que dirige el café estaba más que feliz de ayudarle. En cuanto a la comida y la explosión de la gran cantidad de sabores, la experiencia fue inolvidable. Nos hospedamos aquí por 10 días y habrá muchas más visitas.

These Brazilian crepes are so nice! I be tried the beef, squash and chicken varieties and they are all great. You may have to wait ten minutes for the owner to cook yours on a busy lunch time, but its worth the wait.

Really fantastic food stall - delicious fantastic flavours - I had the chicken / sweet corn / spinach / cheese (grated and goat) and it was soft and melts in the mouth. A fantastic spot for a quick bite.

Os crepes do Tupiniquim são simplesmente uma delicia! Compre um Guaraná Antartica, escolha seu crepe ou a maravilhosa feijoada e delicie-se. Porém o dia tem que estar bom, o local é aberto e não tem muitos lugares pra sentar.

Think about an amazing pancake, now think about a supperb price, how about a well served portion, if you could not think about one place that has all this at the same time you should come to Tupiniquim!
