The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Been a few times and the food is always delicious and all the staff friendly and attentive. We live in Manchester and visit family in the area when we can. Balerno Inn is always on the list!

Mediocre food and terrible attitude from the owner who refused to honour our reservation. Kept waiting for 20 minutes for food that tasted as bad as the meal we had on the flight over. Salt by name, salty by attitude.

¡Los celíacos sueñan! Tales dulces encantadores, bien vale la pena una visita. También un montón de opciones sin lácteos y veganas. ¡Sólo el problema es tratar de no comprarlo todo! Opciones saladas, así como dulce, además de té y café.

Instagram photos don’t always tell the truth. While service and wine were very good, the food was a big disappointment. Look very pretty on the plate (for instagram) but none of the dishes were memorable or flavourful.

What a lovely wee find of a cafe to have a cuppa and you missy have one of there lovely cakes .. Just what we needed on a cold Sunday afternoon . Thanku ++++

Friendly staff, excellent pastries, above-average coffee. Not advisable for groups of more than 4, but perfect for couples or single people.

Stopped off whilst on an evening visit to South Queensferry. Loads of ice cream flavours to choose from despite some being sold out from earlier in the day. Gentleman who was serving was very professional and thanked us for stopping by as we were leaving.

Loved this place. Great for either take away or eating in. I could honestly have tried everything on the menu..it all looked so fresh and healthy. Such a refreshing change from the chain restaurants!

Visité Hanks para conseguir mi desayuno en el camino al trabajo. Mis colegas son habituales aquí así que pensé en intentarlo. Pude conseguir mis rollos de bollos de patata que eran muy agradables, pero no tenían té de menta. Tuve que ir a otro lugar por eso que fue un poco decepcionante. Aparte de eso fue bueno.

got a hot chocolate and a cappuccino, had one of the best cappuccino's in edinburgh. got a bit lost and the lovely young lady helped me find what i needed, i am very greatful for all her help and simply loved the hot drinks i got from the Waverley Cafe. Im going there again before i head home, thank you soo much.

Wonderful fresh soup changes daily its hearty and very tasty. Very friendly staff always give a warm welcome.

Vino aquí para almorzar después de una estancia de una noche en Edimburgo. Ambos fuimos por el Tofu Benedict y WOW! Fue absolutamente INCREÍBLE! 😋 Todavía estoy pensando en ello ahora! 😄 También nos dieron el “Nae Egg” y sándwich de berro y un bollo de canela para el viaje a casa. ¡Si viviera en Edimburgo estaría aquí todo el tiempo! Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Edimburgo! 🙂

Amazing place to eat and The Service Is SO GOOD All very kind but sadly there are not too many seats but the smoothies and milk shakes are the best

Lovely little coffee shop that serves really delicious morning breakfast rolls. We’ve popped in a couple of times and always found that rolls to be fresh & tasty - plus it’s superb value! You can easily get two 3 filling rolls for under a £10 - not many places in Edinburgh will do that! Highly recommend
