This was just down the street from our B & B. Great coffee and sweets! Owner/manager (?) was kind enough to still serve me even after official closing time. (My time clock was not yet adjusted to the time difference and I found myself searching for coffee much later than normal folks) Said a local made the sweets I had a sea salt Carmel Brownie that was divine. If you find yourself in Leith Scotland def stop in!!

My magnificent Partner and I have visited Ray and the team before, but our most recent visit is the best one yet. We are in on 25.07.19 both of us had wrap and roll each. Done fresh, down efficiently, and representing excellent value for money. Get yourself, and your friends here. You will not be disappointed.

I totally rate this place, it feels like a real gem in the community. Their breakfast rolls are lovely, and good proper coffee. The best thing though is the atmosphere - the owner is always lovely, with time for a chat and an amazing ability to remember me and the details of my daily ups and downs! The place is decorated well, and there's enough space for a sit down there to give a bit of head space. Thanks for begin here, wishing you good luck in keeping going!

We just moved into the area and have been to this cafe several times. The food is always amazing and the staff are always so friendly. The local artwork all over the walls makes it even better.I wish I had more money to spend here!Definitely give it a try.

On 27.05.19 went to amazing Leith cafe. I wanted to get well prepared rolls for my incredible partner and myself. Saw Ray's special and ordered it. Ray remembered me from an earlier visit and told me that the cafe was now able to support us bringing our doggie! Good news only got better as when I got home my partner and I slowly savoured our delicious rolls, followed by a brownie. Delicious food, great local relaxed atmosphere. A new, local business, can't recommend highly enough. Check opening times and get yourself to this café . You will not be disappointed.

The Leith area of Edinburgh has a really great cafe that opened a few months ago. The coffee is excellent (sit in or take away), the food menu is extensive and very good with some great tray-bakes made on the premises. And Raymond, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming. All in all this is definitely the place for your morning coffee or afternoon tea !

My partner and I popped in yesterday to get a couple of filled rolls for our day trip out. The staff were polite, working hard and helpful. The rolls were freshly made to order and delicious! We are planning on going back today!

Si vives o trabajas cerca, ¡ven aquí y disfruta!

Dropped in with the pram to catch up with a friend over coffee. Great service and loads of room for manoeuvring a pram. Made me feel very welcome and the cappuccino was great to boot. Will be back.

This is a lovely cafe that does home made soup and Toasted Focaccia and wraps with a huge variety of fillings with a decent side salad! There's also a nice range of cakes made by Dave I believe. I had the carrot cake and I will be back for more it was so good. Returning with my son after school this week because I know he will love the soup and the chocolate and orange Brownies. Thank you for your hospitality this is such a lovely local cafe plus they do breakfast rolls and a 6 item breakfast. Coffees etc. Well worth lots of visits. Wifi too lovely decor and a little plant on every table.

Popped into Picnics Takeaway for a quick lunch, chose their spicy chicken wrap, husband had spicy chicken on baguette. Both were stuffed with delicious chicken breast, chargrilled with spices, fresh salad, cheese, chilli sauce. Very filling, excellent value and friendly service.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
