Stopped off whilst on an evening visit to South Queensferry. Loads of ice cream flavours to choose from despite some being sold out from earlier in the day. Gentleman who was serving was very professional and thanked us for stopping by as we were leaving.

Second time visiting and didn’t disappoint again! So much flavours to choose from, as well as cones/tubs. As it was Easter weekend I had to have some duck meringue toppings lol. Great service!

Lovely ice cream shop with lots of flavours to choose from 42 were on offer at some point throughout the day! Inside they have a huge board with all flavours, in/out signs to let u know what is actually available, I opted for coconut and a raspberry ripple topped with toasted marshmallows, my daughter had after eight mint, the Scottish tablet with a stick of fudge. Very delicious, look forward to sampling other flavours in the future. Highly recommend, great service with a great price

I had researched good dessert places in South Queensferry and read about The Little Parlour. I visited while in town and LOVED the ice cream! They have a wide variety of flavours, friendly staff, and a lovely shop. For anyone visiting South Queensferry and the Forth Bridge, this is a nice little stop for a treat that you can enjoy while walking along the waterfront. I look forward to returning to South Queensferry and visiting The Little Parlour again!

Lovely little ice cream place. So many choices of flavours and toppings, as well as biscuits, sweets, and fudges. no gluten free cones- ice cream shop across the road offers gluten free cones so you’ll be losing some customers!

Title says it all really - the place to go if you want to try premium, unique ice cream flavours at a reasonable price! Extremely tasty and good quality. Waiter behind the counter was very welcoming and polite, greeting us as we entered and left, and listening to our questions or requests. Of course, great location alongside the Firth of Forth, and view of the rail bridge mainly. Only thing I can think of to improve is to offer a vegan option, although I'm aware this is difficult to source and justify demand wise! Would definitely go again.

Such a huge selection of ice cream!! It makes it hard to choose but when you do it will be delicious! We came as a group of 6 and all got different flavours which we all loved. It has a great location in the centre of town, the perfect stop for a treat. We will be back for sure!

Visited this ice cream parlour with my brother and niece. I had 3 scoop tub and the had waffle cone each. Huge scoops of ice cream for a decent price. Would definitely return if in the area

Stopped here for a quick ice cream/coffee/milkshake break on a walk though the town. Lovely little place and lots of choices on what to have. I went for a blueberry ripple milkshake which was so yummy. Was a lovely treat on a nice warm day

Stopped here for ice cream while waiting for a boat trip. Massive selection of different flavours to choose from! I got a scoop of the Jammie Dodger ice cream. The texture was amazing. Super creamy with a lovely flavour. Sightly disappointed there was no biscuit pieces in though but it was still really good. My wife got a cherry bakewell flavour milkshake. Unfortunately this was a bit disappointing. Either they added too much milk or it was blended for too long (or both!) But it was really thin and milky and didn't have the texture you'd expect from a milkshake made from great quality ice cream. Would come back again in future but only for the ice cream

Stopped in recently while visiting south queensferry, what a lovely shop, amazing selection of ice creams and toppings! Also a lovely sweetie shops with a lovely selection. We will definitely be back when in the area.

We got gifted some sweets from here and they're absolutely delicious. I called The Sweet Parlour to confirm whether they were vegetarian and by telling them the colours of the sweet, they were able to describe exactly what it was (eg. Mermaid, paint brush, cola bottles etc) and confirm that it was indeed suitable for vegetarian. They also have non vegetarian sweets too but these are sold seperately. I was so impressed with how helpful they were despite me phoning them randomly. I am also so glad they sell these vegetarian jelly sweets. They are an excellent alternative to Haribo's and for people who do not eat gelatine. I will be calling them again soon to see if I can place an order with them via post.

We headed for the Little Parlour at the end of a long day's walking round the Dalmeny estate, with tired kids who were nevertheless willing to walk a little further to get an icecream. Although it was late in the day when we rocked up, the staff were friendly and cheerful and there was a great selection of icecream in exciting flavours beyond the usual suspects. The scoops were massive and the icecream absolutely delicious - really lovely. Plus a cute shopfront and store which made it feel like a real treat, and a good queuing system and hygiene measures. We will definitely be back next time we're in South Queensferry.

This little shop seemed very popular with a large que outside and some unusual flavours of ice cream on the menu. We tried birthday cake, bounty and cherry flavours which were all lovely but certainly not worth £7.50, as portions were tiny! They also had lots of unusual sweets and treats for sale, great for a different little gift. Worth a visit!

A warm day in South Queensferry calls for some ice cream, this beautiful little shop on the High Street is just what we needed! The choice of flavours is fantastic, you can imagine my excitement to see Scottish Tablet on the menu. The ice cream itself was delicious, so creamy and flavoursome. Their system for operating under Covid-19 regulations worked incredibly well also. We will definitely be back!

Great ice cream. Good service - in these strange COVID times the order was taken whilst we were queuing so that it was ready when we got to the front and into the shop. Well done - great service and just great ice cream!!

Visited with children. Good old fashioned friendly customer service. Gave the children all info required to make great choices. Not overpriced and ice cream was lovely. My youngest said 'Mum, we are definitely going back there ' 🤗 says it all really.

The ice cream is absolutely delicious and presented in a good biscuit cone. The friendly owner gave the best information on the area you could possibly wish for. It saved us a long trek for our return journey to Edinburgh.

Un personal tan amable, siempre nos recuerdan y hacen un chocolate caliente lo suficientemente fresco para mi hija. Lo intenté la última vez y guau, fue lo mejor. Los helados también tienen un enorme pulgar hacia arriba. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo del equipo de Little Parlor! ! Una verdadera joya en el sur de Queensferry.

We love this place and it's somewhere we just keep coming back to. Absolutely lovely owner and staff, the ice cream is consistently amazing, and the coffees are delicious too. Rain or shine, summer or winter, we'll keep visiting!

Después de su sesión en la escalada en roca, el nieto y yo nos dirigimos aquí para un regalo, no estamos seguros de cuál de los dos. A pesar de que está un poco alejado de nosotros, vale la pena. A ambos nos encantan los increíbles helados que tienes aquí y las chicas siempre son muy amables.

Visité con mi familia para el helado. Se ofreció una gran selección de helados con diferentes ingredientes, un éxito con los niños. A los niños también les encantó la selección y mezcla de tarros dulces, no demasiado caros y como cuando era pequeño. Un montón de preciosos regalos que se ofrecen también. El personal era muy atento y acogedor. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para que me recoja!

Lovely little Coffee stop, Ice Cream and Sweets are amazing too. If you're in The Ferry, this is a must and then pop across the road sit down to enjoy both your Ice Cream and the view of The Bridges.

Popped into to this gem of a place after watching the Loony Dookers strut down to the sea, It had very pleasant staff and a fine cup of tea and cappuccino. Will be back later in the year when it's a bit warmer.

I popped in with my little one a few months back. My Latte to go was so good that I had to call up and try to find out their secrets! They actually obliged in telling me too! Best Latte I have ever had!

Had a lovely ice cream here served by two very friendly and patient girls, it took a little while to decide on which flavours as they all sounded lovely. The blood orange was recommended and I was not disappointed. It was fresh and fruity as was the mango and passion fruit. Well worth a visit.

Sought this little place out following TripAdvisor review and may have missed it otherwise as truly little however perfectly formed. Basically an ice cream and confectionery plus coffee shop. Spotlessly clean with minimal seating area though this was enough for two cold folk to sit comfortably at the window admiring the view. Excellent mug-sized coffee from a charming proprietor with some samples of the sweets. The service industry could take lessons from her as the welcoming attitude only makes you want to return for more.

Both the products and the people at The Little Parlour are a rare treat. It is a place that genuinely puts a smile on your face, not only for the ice cream, but the interesting and unusual treats on the shelves and the servering staff. It is well worth a detour to seek this little parlour out, and we were certainly not disappointed.

I went in to buy a coffee and left with the most amazing cake and local shortbread as a present for my mum. If you are in the area then you should pop in, it is the nicest place and great for presents and very family friendly

What a lovely wee shop. Had stopped in with son and hubby for some ice cream. Not just the usual vanilla n chocolate to pick from but others like clotted tablet and toffee n fudge. Tasted amazing and the two ladies serving us were very friendly and welcoming. Price too was really good. Would recommend to all and will definitely be back next time we pass.

Great tasting coffee and even greater tasting ice cream, I can recommend the tablet flavour. Lovely place right on the High Street and a really friendly owner. It,s not a sit in cafe but on a good day you can take your coffee and sit across the road watching the water. Lovely.

Firstly, if you're looking for somewhere to have a meal, this isn't it. However, if you want a gorgeous place to grab a fabulous ice cream or coffee you couldn't do better. If you want unusual biscuits, chocolate,popcorn, tea etc this is the place. Great for presents. If you need a cold drink to take away or a delicious muffin look no further. If the children want a few sweeties you'll find them here. There are no tables but plenty of goodies to take away with you. Best of all you will find the owner Ger (short for Geraldine) is the nicest shop owner you will ever meet. She always has a smile and a friendly word and remembers so much about her regulars. A visit to the little parlour is always a great experience.

Gorgeous shop with lovely take away ice creams, muffins and I am reliably informed, great coffee. The owner Geraldine, (known as Ger) is a lovely lady who gives all a warm welcome and has a great memory for faces etc. A superb place to get unusual chocolate gifts. Also a great range of mainly Scottish suppliers of biscuits, herbal teas, preserves etc. Great to stop off if out for a walk and grab a cold or hot drink to keep you going or grab a delicious ice cream and sit across the road looking out at the bridges. A nice selection of wee sweets for the children to make up there own little bag. You won't find a warmer welcome anywhere

I had such a great experience here! Based on the glowing Tripadvisor reviews, I popped in after lunch for an ice cream cone. The woman who owns the shop was very kind and welcoming. Because it was raining outside, I took a seat and stayed for a bit and had the nicest chat with the (even nicer) owner. The ice cream, BTW, was fantastic. I highly recommend!!!

Nice array of ice creams from Stewart Tower I took the Vanilla 2 scoops great taste .This is a busy wee cafe in a good location people in getting coffee to go I noticed home made sweets and tablets Friendly service .A nice selection of gifts as well I will certainly be back here again

The Little Parlour on South Queensferry High Street is a not to be missed experience for visitors to the town. They offer a selection of the most delicious ice creams (creamy tablet is my personal favourite), quality sweets (which make great gifts) and fantastic coffee. Added to this is the warm welcome from the friendly, attentive staff who always greet their customers with a smile.

Just passing on a warm afternoon with friends, walking back to the car and enticed in by the unusual flavours of ice cream. Hard to choose so we shared!

While waiting on students finishing their Maritime Skills at Port Edgar I happened to stumble upon this little treasure. Opting for a simple cappuccino to take away I had a great chat about coffee and I'll be back another time - well recommended and worth another visit to try their ice cream!

I'm very fussy about my coffee and Little Parlour serves the best flat white in South Queensferry (with the friendliest service)! The ice cream flavours change regularly but our favourite mango and passionfruit is often there. A pit-stop at the Little Parlour for treats and drinks, before finding a seat near to the Forth to admire the bridges is one of our favourite things to do in South Queensferry.

We make a point of buying sweets here, to see us through a weekend trip away. (We highly recommend the mint imperials!.) The staff are the friendliest ever. Ger takes time to make customers feel welcome. A visit here will brighten your day.

If you are in SQ treat yourself to an ice cream from this lovely little parlour! Try the frozen yogurt if you are watching the calories its sooooo lovely! This little jewel also sells lovely bespoke fudge tablet and many other sweets and delicious treats. Nice for gifts too for that something different ! Love it!

The Little Parlous is very much worth a visit. The ice cream is fabulous. The staff are welcoming and friendly and OMG some of the sweets are amazing. I bought far too much as I could not decide ....

The staff are very friendly. The glutton free raspberry ice cream is amazing. When I ask the assistant for glutton free ice cream, he checked the container to ensure it was glutton free and then rechecked with manager - nothing was a problem. Will certainly be back. My husband loved his treat of Drambuie fudge

A refreshing change to the many coffee/ice cream cafes along this busy high street. The fare is good, coffee strong and the staff are friendly. However what sets it apart is the look and feel - clean, tidy organised, no paintings for sale, souvenirs, additional services here. It does what it says on the tin

What a fantastic amazing place - beautiful friendly staff - the ice cream was amazing - I had the smooth tablet and chocolate (mmmmmmm) my hubby had the blackberry and strawberry (the blackberry was outstanding wished I had that), my daughter had vanilla x 2 with strawberry sauce and my sister in law had the smooth tablet and banana marshmallowWe also bought some tablet - one was plain and one salted caramel - beautiful Well worth a visit if in South Queensferry

I loved today's visit to the little parlour, it is a lovely atmosphere, the ice cream is very nice and the tablet is amazing. It has a good quick service and a good we take away.

This is a pretty wee shop selling delicious ice creams in super flavours (including cute teddy shaped cones for youngsters!); lovely hot + cold drinks and small gifts (including sweets and beautiful flowers). It is a pristine and friendly shop and definitely worth a visit.
