First visit to DINE Craiglockhart but it won’t be the last. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive throughout. Food and drinks were faultless! Water served routinely and prompt drinks served with a smile. Bread and olives…….Starters of Ham Hock; soups of the day. Mains of Angus Sirloin; Angus Ribeye; Braised ox cheek. The kids got stuck into the excellent junior menu. Desserts were also noteworthy. Creme Brulee and artisan ice creams all round. Faultless. Everything cooked to perfection. On the drinks front - great wine and cocktail selection. We enjoyed well shaken aperitifs and an excellent bottle of superior quality Prosecco…. an equally superior Valpolicella followed with the steaks. Finished with brandies, Baileys (in chilled glass - the minor details matter) and then coffees. Incredible. The decor and ambience creates a warm, inviting setting for the food that follows. If you’ve not been before, we can’t recommend this gem highly enough and hope the locality continues to support the restaurant. Almost worth moving to the area with this on your doorstep ! All at DINE Craiglockhart must be very proud of what’s being delivered here. Neighbourhood dining at its finest…..

We visit Edinburgh to see family and this restuarant was close to the morning activity. First impression was of a very attractive room set up nicely and quite sophisticated. We were made most welcome by the staff and the two children received special attention. The menus were varied and interesting. The presentation of the food was excellent and was very tasty. Given the overall quality, the prices were reasonable. Recommended

We are so lucky to have Dine a few minutes walk away. The food was delicious and the staff, as always, were welcoming and helpful. Our friend from out of town also really enjoyed the experience.

I went out with my family members and found a pleasant surprise upon entering the beautiful, luxurious atmosphere of the restaurant. The servers were lovely, welcoming and very polite, and whilst timings could be quicker when waiting for dessert, the starters and main courses were brought tout suite and efficiently. There was a good variety on the menu and I was glad that there was something for everyone, so it's unlikely you'll be disappointed with what they have to offer. Drinks are varied too which was always a plus. The quality was very high up there in relation to my personal experience with the food, and there was evident value for money with all that we ate. For starters, I had the chicory and roast fig, which was not my favourite, however I still ate it and deemed it tasty enough, and it had been prepared well (just my opinion - it might be exceptional to someone else). My main was roast chicken which was divine and cooked very well, and the cabbage, potatoes and lardons accompanied it very well - highly recommend! For dessert, I was very impressed by the sophistication of the apple and raisin crumble, which was lovely and the portion size was also very generous. The ice cream with it was like the icing on the cake, and it left me beyond pleased afterwards that I had chosen it for dessert. The seating was reasonably comfortable and spaced out which was nice/advantageous, but I still found it a bit noisy so perhaps a more spacious environment would've been even better. I loved the stunning artwork on the walls which gave off warmth and serenity. At the end, everybody seemed happy with their dining time and all food was enjoyed with glee and delight. Would definitely go back again! :)

Spent a lovely evening here, just the two of us. Food was excellent - the pickled herring and kimchi dish was especially a standout, as zingy and fresh as it was delicious. Even the side-bowl of massive olives was dripping in flavour and the cranachan an ideal way to round off a lovely meal. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Decor warm and welcoming. All in, highly recommended and we will certainly be back.

My wife and I along with two friends went out for our usual Christmas Lunch on Saturday. After some deliberation we settled on 'Dine at Craiglockart'. Best choice ever. The front of house managed by Aiden kept everything running smoothly and Bar Manager Lewis made sure the drinks and coffee's kept flowing. Also must give a shout to Kitchen staff, the food was excellent. Highly recommended. Thanks to all.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner, delightful cocktails made to our taste by the fantastic bar staff (Lewis). Evening manager is fantastic (Aidan), very attentive. 10/10 service, food and drink. 100% recommend for drinks or food. If you’re in the local area be sure to pop in!

The bar is an oasis in an area with no pubs. The ambience at the bar is good and Lewis, the drinks manager, is very knowledgeable and welcoming. The range of drinks, wines spirits and cocktail is good for a small bar. The whole operation is overseen by Aidan, who is also very friendly and personable

This is the third time my wife and I have eaten at this Dine establishment. As it was a Sunday, we booked a table due to the restaurant's popularity. The welcome and resultant service could not be faulted. We chose from the Set Menu and had an excellent meal, well prepared and presented. All in all, represented good value for money.

Welcome was good and waiter delightful and efficient. We just had an a la carte main course for lunch, both a which were delicious and attractive. More people should go as Xmas menu looked good value.

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Dine last Thursday evening, weather outside was cold and blustery, inside was the exact opposite! From the moment we arrived we just knew we would have a lovely evening . The welcome was warm and genuine, staff were exceptional throughout our visit. Food was presented in a very attractive manner, and was really tasty, in fact, exceptionally tasty. Such comfortable surroundings and great staff, we will most definitely be back!

An excellent early evening dinner as part of husbands 50th birthday weekend celebrations. Food and service were both excellent and we plan to return!

Really nice family meal with drinks afterwards. The service and attitude of the staff was excellent, food was good and the atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable.

We have been to this restaurant a good few times since it opened. The food has never been less than excellent. The staff are fantastic.

Food and ambience really good, staff very attentive and service was excellent. Food was lovely, particularly the pork belly and asparagus starters.

Have not been since opening night and decided to book for breakfast with the girls. Was delighted that the Bloody Mary was just as Good as DINE Edinburgh. Breakfast was fantastic with 2 of us opting for Full Scottish (the orange juice was forgotten!) Star of the show... Hazelnut Cream Cold Brew. Had everyone jealous
