Quite good and hospitable staff, but I think it's too expensive for what it's worth. I wish I could give 4.5 stars but it certainly is not worth 5, in my opinion

Incredible cafe. The owners/staff are very humble and friendly. I’ve always got a free taster cookie the moment I enter, even if I don’t end up making a purchase. They even put extra cookies in the box apart from the ones I paid for. Conversation is always nice and one feels cared for. The cakes, pastries, and cookies are very tasty as well. Niche Iranian food that makes your day. It is expensive but understandably, still worth it. (saffron is expensive) Would recommend 10/10

This local family run patisserie is an amazing place for desserts. We were greeted by the brother of the woman who bakes all the lovely cakes, pastries, and cookies. He was super friendly and kindly explained about the traditional recipes and what was what. We even got a free taster of their amazing coconut cookie. He also mentioned that their cakes were not too sweet, and he was right. The cheesecake was super creamy and smooth, but without the loaded sugar you come to expect nowadays. My wife tried the traditional cake with saffron, cardamom, and rose. It was fluffy and delicious without being too heavy. They make a pretty good cup of coffee as well.

Excellent cakes and sweets. Oh, and don’t forget to try their coffee!

Fantastic cafe with Yumi patisseries and great brewed tea. We have tried Napelon, coconut cookies and saferon cake at this place all high quality. Don't miss Brewed Tea. Highly recommended

The salted caramel cheesecake and chocolate cake were delicious! The free coconut cookies were incredible as well, and I'll definitely be back to get some.

This place exudes great charm, and I’m utterly speechless at how lovely the taste is, as well as the hospitality of the owner and her son. They offer very authentic Persian options, which were wonderfully nostalgic for me. My German friend was equally impressed and delighted with the extraordinary saffron cake, perfectly balancing the flavours of saffron, rose water, and pistachio. The cream puff, with its touch of rose water, provides a delightful twist, even for those familiar with Persian desserts. The venue is cozy and charming, making it an ideal spot for dates. We visited for dessert, and their opening hours are quite convenient. The hospitality was so exceptional it moved me, reminding me of the warmth of Iranian hospitality. The owner generously gave us two extra cream puffs, which was a lovely gesture. Upon arrival, we were also treated to an Iranian coconut cookie, which was delicious. I highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again whenever I return to Edinburgh.

The pistachio drink and saffron cake was heavenly. And the profiteroles are exactly as you get in Iran, fresh and delicious. The two people working there are wonderful. I'll definitely go back again and highly recommend it.

The iced saffron latte at Razz patisserie is probably the most delicious coffee I've ever had. The cakes are also truly delicious. The owner is super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. Would 100% recommend!

This patisserie is my favourite place in Edinburgh. Out of all the food stops that I've enjoyed here, this is the one I will miss the most! Parveen and Amir are always friendly and welcoming. The cakes are delicious, creamy and light.

We had a great experience at Cafe Razz. The guy behind the counter was incredibly friendly and gave us some complimentary cookies to try. The coffee had a good test, and the pastries were delightful.

An excellent, quiet spot to get the best Iranian pastries. The lady making the products was friendly, kind and tremendously welcoming as we came almost at closing time. The saffron cake was mind blowing along those delicious coconut cookies she gave us for us to try. Is all about customer experience, we will definitely be coming back

Forget everything you know about dessert after dinner. Open until 22:00, This is the place you should go. The Traditional Iranian Tea by itself is a glorious thing but I am sure you will want to try everything else. Make sure you take some home too. The Staff could not have been kinder, happy to show us their incredible home made cakes and cookies.

Amazing wee cafe, we had the napeloni and the cream puff and they were both super tasty. It is lovely as well to eat homemade cakes, hard to find in places these days! The iranian tea is also very moreish.

The hazelnut biscuit was divine 🤩 and pistachio & saffron white hot chok was very good too (both very gentle flavours). I would appreciate different music (maybe Iranian?) and to get rid of pink neon lighting.

Amazing desserts and food, truly, cannot recommend them enough. Staff is truly lovely and heartwarming. I always get a couple of things and amongst the top ones are the chocolate cake, which has that perfect balance between the texture and the moisture of the sponge, the coconut cookies, truly delicious and mouthwatering and the saffron cake which is refreshing, has a perfect taste, and is a little something you don’t find everyday. Little tip, the pistachio cookies are out of this world. If you’re looking for a sweet something and new desserts give it a try, they’re fabulous!! Looking forward to trying more of their products!

The Saffron cake and the coconut biscuits are outstanding, as are the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. All of the cakes were flavourful and moist, not sickly sweet but just right. The owners of this shop were also amazing, very polite and helpful. Thoroughly recommend visiting

Amazing Persian taste Loved it !

Wonderful experience ! So good that we went twice - once before seeing a film at the Cameo and again afterwards. Delicious biscuits and cakes all home baked. I can honestly say that the macaroon was the best I’ve ever had! And the saffron cake was also really delicious and moist. Such a lovely kind family who own it. A highly enjoyable experience.

This dessert place has some of the best pastries, cookies, and cakes I've ever tasted. We went as a group of 4 and everyone was amazed at how delicious every bite was. The cream cake is so light it melts in your mouth. The saffron cake is moist and delicious. The cookies...UMMM .. YES!! Seriously, this place is the best and the owners were super sweet and welcoming. Don't miss it.

I have tried their couple of things like coconut cookies, saffron cake and pies. I loved every bit of everything. Coconut cookies made me come back to him time and again. It’s worth a try.Above all owners hospitality is beyond expectations and make you feel overwhelmed every time.

Saffron cake is unlike anything I’ve had. Melts in your mouth and the perfect balance of flavor. And the smell was heavenly.

The perfect choice for delicious cakes, cookies and sweets for after dinner (or any time). They are open till 10:00 p.m.! The bakery artist is super nice and the confections are flavorful, pretty to look at and perfectly sweetened. We ordered chocolate cake, vanilla cake and saffron cake. Everything was exquisitely yummy. Enjoy!

We had just finished dinner and decided to Google “dessert”. This is one of the most delightful experiences you will have on a visit to Edinburgh. This family owned business is as much of a comfort as their saffron cake. My texas tastebuds weren’t prepared for something so light and delicious and yet so different from what I had ever tried. Their chewy coconut cookies are like eating decadent chewy clouds of coconut. You can tell that this family truly enjoys sharing their talents in creating amazing desserts. They make you feel like they have shared dessert from their own kitchen table. Take the time to go and go back again. Five STARS on everything we tried!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Razz coffee shop! The coffee was simply outstanding, making it the best I’ve had in a long time. I went in to take a look at the menu, I was looking for sundaes on that day so I didn't get anything, but the cakes looked mouthwatering and the owner treated us to his freshly made coconut cookies on our way out. He earned himself a return customer for when I'm in the mood for a cake.

Fereni: Served hot. Aromatic, slightly floral. Texture like a smooth porridge (think cream of wheat or similar). Moderately sweet.

Today we were visiting Edinburg and by accident we found Razz. Heaven on earth. It was my husband's birthday and we had a carrotcake and a cheesecake. Both perfect and delicious. I wish i could taste them all. Friendly man and good coffee too. Wish i could visit more often but we're from Holland. Open one there please! 😉

Razz is such a lovely place! I have never met such kind, friendly or warm proprietors. I am regular return customer and will keep coming and coming back. I could not recommend this place highly enough, its charm or the deliciousness and quality of it's luxury cakes and teas and coffees.

Popped in for desserts last night and loved this place! Great service, great cakes. But the cookies were the highlight! So good, I'll definitely be back for more - highly recommend.
