Surprise Birthday treat meeting friends. We were slightly late but that didn't phase them even though it was very busy, a lovely welcome. The service was spot on, again, especially as they were busy, we never had to wait too long for anything and there was always someone around if we needed them. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere as well, you could tell people were enjoying themselves. The food was superb. Set menu was a great choice by my friends, others shared a cold meze starter - all full of flavour. The lamb shank was excellent and my chicken Shish was perfect. Of course, Baklava and coffee to finish. In fact, everything was perfect and I would highly recommend Cappadocia, it is very central, by Pultney Weir / Parade Gardens, so ideal for visitors and locals alike.

Went for a celebratory dinner . Staff were exceptional - organised, professional and friendly (Liam, Lili and Eefke kept me regularly updated before the night hand were brilliant at accommodating requests). The staff on the night 01/3/25 (6:30-10:30pm) could not have been better and really made the experience . Food was delicious and drinks were lovely . Brilliant venue

Well, it was our final visit to the Lakeside Cabin last week. What a wonderful hidden gem this cafe is, and it is going to be very much missed by so many, now that it has closed its doors. The food exquisite, so tastefully presented, especially all those gorgeous cakes, mouth watering! The location and setting, along with the amazing family who ran it made it a very happy place to be. Thank you ‘A’ team, for making our trips an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. So sad that you have gone, but we wish you all the best in your new venture. We will DEFINITELY come and find you at Pydar Mews in Truro.

Lola’s is a lovely independent tapas restaurant, with amazing food. The team were really helpful and attentive. We tried 6 dishes in total and all were delicious! Would highly recommend eating here if you’re in the area

Todo fue excelente. El servicio era de primera categoría, la comida era grandes porciones y la corteza de pizza es almohada, tenía un montón de ingredientes y era delicioso.

I went here for the first time 2 weeks ago for a Birthday meal with my family, and all of the food we had was flawless. All the meat was flavoursome and cooked to perfection, and the staff (especially the owner) were really friendly and accommodating which made the experience all the better. We can't wait to go back!

Unreal service! Hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Abul was incredibly warm and welcoming—he took the time to learn both mine and my partner’s names and used them throughout the evening, which made the experience feel so much more personal and relaxed. What a fabulous place! Out of all the steak outlets in York im so glad i chose this one to celebrate my Dads 90th birthday. Radek and his team are fantastic. They really ensured we had the best time. Food was excellent and decent value. What a super evening we both had. Cant recommend highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next visit.
