Food and experience was great but it was very expensive!! Then they snuck a gratuity charge on which was over £16 without saying anything about it onto the bill. The service was great but realistically not above and beyond or worth that much!!

Amazing Venue - you must just go....service, food, cocktails out of this world - home made deserts beyond words. A real family business that you must support - stunning - thank you so so much

There is nothing to fault at Lola's. Delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. If you can't get to Spain for tapas, go to Lola's. You won't regret it.

Fantastic. This is the second time my husband and I have eaten at Lola’s. This occasion we went for our anniversary meal which was absolutely delicious, very tasty and good portion sizes. We were given some bread and oils with “happy anniversary” written in balsamic, which was a lovely touch. The service was excellent and we were looked after very well by Magdalena. We will 100% be returning next time we are in Bournemouth.

My husband and I went to have lunch at Lola’s for my husband’s surprise birthday lunch. We were welcomed and attended by Emre who was very accommodating and lovely. I indicated in my reservation that I wanted an intimate seating and Lola’s (especially Emre) went above and beyond to make it special for my husband. The food was great and authentic. We definitely had a great time there.

Just back from another wonderful evening at Lolas. From the moment we were warmly greeted at the door until we left we had the most fantastic time. The food as always was superb, fantastic atmosphere and service. Lolas never fails to deliver and we will be back again as soon as we can. If you have never been we thoroughly recommend it, you won't be disappointed. Thanks to all who made our evening so special.

First visit to Lola’s , on a Monday night to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant was buzzing and busy and we received a very warm welcome. Took advise on what to order from Magdalena as I have a Gluten issue. She came up with a great choice and ones we would not have chosen. Our whole experience was excellent.

Fantastic food, friendly staff and a great evening. I will be making this restaurant a regular place for entertaining guests.

The food I would rate as 5 stars. I particularly recommend the ox cheeks, on mashed potato option. If it hadn't been for the personal charm of Alex (with the black framed glasses), we would have left. Please employ extra staff to clear the table of previous customers, bring out the ordered drinks, bring a basket of bread, and prompt tardy customers with a "would you like the bill?" As it was my daughter's birthday, the staff came out singing happy birthday with a FREE plate of churros, chocolate sauce, marshmallows and fruit.

We came across this little gem the last time we came to Bournemouth and it didn’t disappoint this time either. Good and service was exceptional and good value for money. Louise our waitress was attentive, very helpful and a lovely personality (a credit to the team). We will def be back :-)

Yeah, could have been so much better. The staff were super friendly and helpful with the menu. It's always busy and we have visited before and really enjoyed it then. This time it was a 9pm booking and we felt very rushed with staff asking to take away dishes, some that weren't empty. I don't believe it was to make space, it was for us to finish up. Staff were leaving before the end of our meal. You get a 2 hour time slot, and we were out well with in that time. On the whole the food was good, apart from king prawns being over cooked. Chorizo being burnt and the bread was not a good quality dry and kinda grey. I guess we were abit unlucky on this visit.

What an amazing find in Bournemouth...we came for my birthday celebrations with friends, the service fabulous and the food was absolutely incredible. We had 14 dishes between the 6 of us and every single one was delicious! We will be coming back here again and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you for making my birthday celebration special.

Sadly a bad review with so many good. Maybe it was a bad night! Overcooked stringy asparagus. Tempura that was badly done. Not proper tempura or even deep fried. Bad service as forgot one dish, and slow to bring second bottle of wine. Bes thibg was the bread and olive oil, Wouldn’t go back. Sorry!

Another fabulous dinner! Once again the food was delicious - don’t miss the King Prawns. I always forget how substantial the portion sizes are! Lovely wine to accompany. Louise was delightful as always and so helpful. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Louise was absolutely lovely and very helpful - super smiley and brilliant service. Alex was equally as attentive and lovely, very chatty and bubbly :) Food was also amazing, best vegan options ever! Having lived in Spain for many years, we can say that Lolas is the "Real Deal"! They do the best Tapas that we have had since we left Spain, Spanish beer on tap, and the best Café Cortado that we have had in the UK. The only problem is that it's a little bit hidden away. We have only just found it after living in Bournemouth for over eight years. We'll definitely be going back soon.

The food was lovely however, we booked a table for 6 people for Mothers Day lunch. We got there and couldn’t see any tables set for 6 people. They pointed us to a table near the window. I said that it was only set for 5 and they said they would put a chair on the end for the extra person. They knew 6 were coming. Anyway we sat down and they set another place but we all felt a bit squashed. Not having been to a tapas restaurant before I asked the waitress to explain how it worked. She was very knowledgeable and said that each portion contained enough for 4 people so we would need to order two of everything if we all wanted a bit of each dish. We ordered a variety of dishes and all had one prawn each, one chicken croquette, you get the gist. So after 2 jugs of Sangria and about 10 dishes of food the bill came. They’d added a service charge which I was not happy about but paid anyway! Probably won’t go back unless we save up for a while first.

We loved this restaurant! Have to disagree with previous reviewer about its authenticity. We have a home in Spain & have eaten at lots of tapas restaurants - this is the real deal, even down to the drinks menu. I have never been able to find a Bobal rosé anywhere else in UK & my daughter loved her tinto de verano! The atmosphere was great, very loud & lively, like most Spanish restaurants & the staff were really friendly. We had pan con tomate, Spanish omelette, spinach croquettes, aubergines, meatballs & patatas bravas! Too much for 2 but all delicious!

Gamba pil pil - no garlic, no chilis not sizzling and had curry powder in it.....about as Spanish as Vindaloo Carrillada - quite good but no pork option which is a shame and came with a strawberry,,,,,weird. White sangria - cheap version and badly made of a classic. Staff - rude, badly organised, and asked people to leave as they had double bookings so didn't get to even smell the desserts. We had children with us and they were disappointed. So not family friendly either. PS if you are looking for authentic Spanish food then this isn't the place for you.
