Staff where super friendly and accommodated me with my needs, ordering was no hassle and service was brilliant the food was just absolutely beautiful and I must say the orange cake wow!!

There was a long wait for food which wasn't communicated when we ordered, however it was a Friday night and so we can expect a long wait, we just would of appreciated that being communicated. However, they did take our second round of drinks off the bill as a gesture of good will (we didn't even ask for that or complain at the time!) The food was okay. However a member of the group clearly communicated a cheese allergy (not dairy, just cheese) and he received his food which they assured was cheese free however they had left the feta samosa's on the plate which he then ate. Upon realising, we checked if these were feta and the waitress was very apologetic, but nothing more than apologetic, i think she was a bit scared to be honest. Luckily he was ok and had realized soon enough. I would like them to learn from that experience because if someone has a more severe allergy it could be fatal. It was an alright experience but wouldn't rush back

Came in on a busy Saturday evening without a booking. After so many visits we should really start making a reservation, but nevertheless, the staff seated us quickly without any issues. Service was fast, food took slightly longer, but we were not in a rush, and enjoyed more drinks while waiting. We had the Greek platter, which once again was amazing. See you again soon

Great Greek food and our waiter, Josef, was friendly, pleasant and helpful. Asked for some changes on one of the orders and it arrived just as requested. Would go there again!

We had a lovely lunch at the Real Greek in Bournemouth, the service from Tomas was excellent, and the food was delicious, and good value for money :)

We came in before an event in the BIC for dinner without a booking. Team greeted us with a smile, they were ever so welcoming. We decided to sit outside on the terrace, which was great. Service was prompt, and food so lovely. We will be back again

Never tried here before but The food was so basic for the price. Lamb meatballs looked a little undercooked and didn’t really taste of anything. Wouldn’t order from here again.

If you're expecting a Greek like we have at home in Germany, you're in the wrong place here, the food is adapted to the local conditions and didn't suit our taste. The beers were the only thing that was really tasty, otherwise the portions weren't worth the price and the 10 percent tip was included on the bill without you being able to choose it yourself. You can definitely eat better somewhere else for the same price.

Excellent food as ordered and very tasty. All staff friendly and not pushy. All at what I thought was a very acceptable cost for more than enough food and a full bottle of vino! Good central location and excellent ambience

Disappointed with the choices available. Considering that we were dining at 6.30 there was no moussaka, then we ordered Greek yoghurt, also no yoghurt. Having been to Greece many times how can you this restaurant The Real Ĝreek.

Very small portions and big waiting times (and prices). Took our food an hour to come and and about 5 mins to finish. Staff were nice but the waiting times are criminal. Would not recommend.

The food is amazing, the halloumi popcorn is not to be missed, the service is great and there is a very nice atmosphere, especially in the summer months

I made a reservation for my wife’s birthday and noted that it was a special occasion. I also requested a candle to be added to the dessert, but it was not brought, and my note was completely ignored. Unfortunately, the food was also very disappointing and lacked care. I hope they make an effort to improve.

Menue complete changed limited choice not anywhere as good or value for money. Service basic. Won't be going back in the near future

I was about to leave after waiting 20mins for them to take my order, but they beat the clock at 17mins. Food was good. Atmosphere was dubious, sat outside on a dirty patio area with tatty planting boxes around. Felt like a run down estate not the centre of Bournemouth. I vote with my feet...I won't go again

We called in and had the Lunch menu for a family of 4. All the food was beautiful and fresh. Very tasty. Would really recommend.

The food and the customer service is amazing. They were very kind to letting us have dinner just few minutes before the kitchen closed. Gustavo and all the staff was very nice and friendly as well

The food was very very disappointing you would of thought it was a joke the size of the portions and the amount of actual food you get is a joke , and £10 for all of the dishes I payed £20 for 4 bits a of calamari and half a octopus tentacle cut up into 5 pieces , where was the rest of the food , 😂😂 . Only thing worth having was the humous and pitta. if I were you get that at go somewhere else not worth the money. Staff are not helpful at all, i asked about the offer of beer on tap to be told “uhh a Greek one” in a sarcastic tone , My bill came to £70 and I was left feeling hungry disappointed and annoyed not worth your money at all would be more impressive to go to and eat in a McDonald’s toilet.

Antonio and Gustavo were both lovely, such attentive service and the food was absolutely incredible!!

Food was great and it was reasonably priced we shared a hot mezze platter between 3 and there was plenty of food, everything tasted delicious.

Our waiter, Thomas, was excellent. We had dietary requirements, different age groups and all sorts. He and the rest of the team were accommodating and the food is excellent. Recommended

The wrap I had tasted amazing, really enjoyed it. I had a souvlaki wrap with added halumi. The flat bread was a little bland by comparison. Would certainly recommend if you like this type of food.

It is chain food Greek… but I can’t fault it! The food was brilliant and we knew it was chain Greek but got way more than expected! Tomas was a brilliant server and very antentive. I highly recommend

We always visit The Real Greek when we are in Bournemouth. The food and service are always good, and last night was no different. Tomus was a fab host and looked after us really well. The only negative is the prices have risen sharply over the last few years.

Whenever we are in the area we aim to eat here. This time it was our 20th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful especially Tomas. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful

£75 for two with 1bottle of rose' wine. Didn't like it, we choose Italian wine the food was bland hardly any meat really was bread and salad I feel it cost to much

Really great food.. and great service from Tomas.. randomly found the place on Instagram and thought we would visit as I'm in Bournemouth to celebrate my birthday. The moussaka and octopus were absolutely amazing. Tomas was very friendly and helpful with the menu! He really made my birthday special! Overall this lunch has been a great start to our Bournemouth getaway!

Have ordered from the Real Greek many times but ordered on Friday 7th March. I had lamb meatball souvlaki wrap and spinach tirotipakia, my Nan just had the Greek salad. The salad came with way too many tomatoes and barely any other vegetables. 5-6 hours after eating I was violently vomiting and experiencing diarrhoea. The food previously has been very good but I was very disappointed and upset to have contracted food poisoning. Would recommend eating at/ordering from other restaurants.

OMG! What can I even say? We had dinner last night, the chef called Filipe did the most amazing dishes! He’s super competent, food was quick AND TASTY, he has a lovely smile on his face, he clearly loves his job and we are definitely gonna come back for his food and service! Thank you so much Chef Filipe, you made our night better than ever. See you again

We never go into Bournemouth to eat but we will visit The Real Greek once in a while for top notch greek food. The Slouvaki wraps are our favourite. It is a bit canteen like and can be too cold but the food is great

Thomas was a superb front of house person, he was extremely friendly and very attentive. I can’t praise home enough. The food was really tasty and very good value.

Ive recently went to eat out at the real greek and i had a really good time. Our experience was made more enjoyable by our waiter gabriel who was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be coming again.

Came here to eat with my partner today, and was left with a lot to desire. Having been to Greece before, this food was a watered down overpriced version of the real thing. While the ambience of the restaurant itself was nice, the service from our waiter Gustavo was not. His pompous attitude was accompanied by the lengthy wait time for our food with no explanation from him. I’m not sure he he quite understands how to do his job politely. Rudeness isn’t what I expect when going to eat out at a restaurant.
