In addition to the professionalism provided by Gabriel, the atmosphere was excellent with a vibrant ambience. Will most definitely come again soon.

Last night I had one of the best dinner I ever had! If you’re looking for real Greek tasty dishes I highly recommend this Restsurant! Staff it’s fantastic, Gabriel our waiter made some very good recommendations, was very knowledgeable and made our night extra special!! Ps: the Halloumi fries are to die for!!! Went back not long ago and was happy to find out Gabriel was still there! He took again such a good care of us! Thank you again for the amazing service and fantastic food!! 10/10

WE VOW NEVER TO SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. We are an elderly couple who were given a Groupon "Real Greek Set Menu for 2 people" by our daughter. We telephoned the restaurant in Bournemouth on 30th January to book a table for 31st January, New Years Eve and we were told we could use our Groupon voucher that night and presumed that this would be noted on our booking. When we arrived at the restaurant we were given a selection of menus and ordered a Greek Platter for 2. When it came to paying we showed them the Groupon voucher on our phone and the waiter said he could not accept it. We were at a loss to understand why as the Greek Platter for 2 was £50 and the value on the voucher was for £62.90. Josef the manager came over and said we would have to pay the bill and get a refund from Groupon because it was nothing to do with them. He said we should have told the waiter we had a Groupon Voucher, but we reiterated that we would have thought a note would have been put on our booking to this effect. Josef kept repeating that we would have to get a refund from Groupon in a very rude and condescending manner. We were very embarrassed and disgusted by his attitude and paid the bill. Happy New Year.

Beware when using a groupon! I purchased a groupon voucher for my parents, when my mum rang she was told it was ok to use on New Year’s Eve, then after they finished there meals tried to use there groupon voucher and was told they can’t use it as they ordered off the wrong menu?? This was not there fault this is the servers fault, they asked to speak to the manager and he was very rude and demanded they pay the full amount he also went on to say he doesn’t care about getting a bad review and apparently groupon is nothing to do with him? They will never return there again simply because of the managers attitude. I would advise everyone to avoid this place especially while this man is still there trying to act like a manager it’s very disappointing.

Me and my husband met some friends here tonight. Got in early as we know it can get quite busy. Tom was our waiter and he was very nice, knowledgeable and helpful and recommended his favourites. We loved the taramasalata (we ordered two haha) and the prawns saganaki. We even had some delicious desserts and a couple of drinks. Thanks Tom, we will be back soon

Starter dips were more like liquid. Main course of skewers had 4 pieces of meat on them, 2 of the pork were inedible. Very disappointed. Not real greek at all.

Name of the restaurant should be changed to ‘Unreal Greek’ Taste not good at all . Overall very disappointing experience . I wonder why they call themselves as Real Greek !!!!

To start - we got there and it took 20 mins for anybody to come and take our order for even drinks. We were going to leave here because of this , only got served in the end due to putting hand up and grabbing a waiters attention. Food service very slow once order was placed. Wasn't overly busy . Food quality wasn't that great , two Wraps not much chicken or lamb meatballs. Not given their festive menu to choose from like the nextdoor table. Own lager alpha omega , tasted very watered down and horrible taste. Just not a very pleasant atmosphere and came out stinking of grease. First time here and will be my last. And the optional service charge was very much not going to be paid.

Upstairs had good atmosphere but downstairs was like a mortuary, they seated us downstairs. We had a really long wait for food, with no warning and no bread bought out or explanation. Other customers were angry to. Halloumi fries were awful and had been sat under heat lamp for a long time. Staff appear disorganised but were kindly.

Perfect place to relax and have good time with family and friends. My new favourite place to be. Love the food which I can actually eat as it is rapeseed free.

Was told no tables upstairs was put in downstairs area freezing cold no one else there. We were eventually offered table upstairs funny,there was a lot available in a short time. Food was average was also cold. The real greek in other cities lives up to its name not this one.

Went for lunch menu, but having the pork souvlaki was a let down. Meat wasn't cooked with care, my partner's chicken souvlaki was good. Mixed feelings , not a real greek for me

Normally love coming here but ordered the £35 platter with my husband and the chicken skewer and pork was very dry. But the chicken wings, sausage, houmous, dips with the platter and flat bread was lovely. Asked the waiter to let the over worked chef know, but he wasn't happy. They need more people cooking in the kitchen with the great demand of turn over.

Absolutely loved dining at The Real Greek! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly host and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The ambiance was spot-on – perfect lighting, right amount of background music. The menu had a great variety, with something to satisfy everyone, and our server Joel was very knowledgeable. We had selection of hot meze including grilled meat and seafood with some cold dips accompanied with unique greek cocktails. Food was fresh and tasty, we have enjoyed ita lot. Definitely we will be back.

32 of us went for dinner tonight in the downstairs private dining room. It was faultless. Lovely food and atmosphere. The Zorba shared platters were a particular favourite. Josef and his team looked after us beautifully. Everyone left happy. I can’t recommend this more highly.

Our food was delicious, highly recommend the Htipiti, and the salted cod goujons - I think they're now 2 of my favourite things off the menu. We stopped by on a Sunday lunch time. As we hadn't booked, they accommodated us a table at entrance level, which I thought was better as upstairs felt busy and overcrowded. First time at the restaurant, and we picked different servings, that is brought to the table on individual plates. Which I think is cool as we all got to taste different dishes. Food and service was excellent.

Unfortunately the waitress who took our orders, although efficient, totally lacked any charm or character and isn’t suited to a customer facing job. Chips were disgustingly salty (and I usually like quite a bit of salt but these were coated in it). BBQ chicken wings were spicy even though no mention of this on the menu. Waiter changed the wings but ignored my comment about the chips so just couldn't eat them.

We came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago, we made a booking for 18:00 unfortunately we were slightly delayed as there was a festival going on in Bournemouth, I tried to call to let the restaurant know but no one answered, we ended up getting to the restaurant at 18:02 where we queued up the stairs for nearly 15 minutes so we didn’t get to the front desk until 18:15, we didn’t mind this as we knew we had a table booked, however when we finally got to the front desk, the guy told us that we were so very lucky that he hadn’t given our table away, I politely told him we’d been queuing for 15 minutes to be seen so we would have only been 2 minutes late, he ignored what I said and remarked we were VERY lucky that we still had a table and he nearly gave it away several times, this made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable and was a really bad first impression on our evening, I think the guy who was at the front desk needs some training on how to speak to customers, as he came across very rude, the food was okay, our server was however very polite and looked after us, but a first impression really can make or break your experience somewhere, we wouldn’t return here again.

I ordered the falafel wrap. This one was okay, but really nothing special. In my opinion the falafel were too big for the warp and a bit dry. The flatbread was good. However, there wasn't enough sauce in it for me, so it was just extremely dry. Also, the tahina tasted more like a garlic mayo. I also missed the salad. The fries were good. The employees are friendly and the place looks nice too. However, it wasn't for me.
