Dinner date before going to another show at the BIC. Restaurant was packed, thank goodness we booked, but service was swift. Meat platter is a steal

Was told no tables upstairs was put in downstairs area freezing cold no one else there. We were eventually offered table upstairs funny,there was a lot available in a short time. Food was average was also cold. The real greek in other cities lives up to its name not this one.

Went for lunch menu, but having the pork souvlaki was a let down. Meat wasn't cooked with care, my partner's chicken souvlaki was good. Mixed feelings , not a real greek for me

Normally love coming here but ordered the £35 platter with my husband and the chicken skewer and pork was very dry. But the chicken wings, sausage, houmous, dips with the platter and flat bread was lovely. Asked the waiter to let the over worked chef know, but he wasn't happy. They need more people cooking in the kitchen with the great demand of turn over.

Absolutely loved dining at The Real Greek! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly host and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The ambiance was spot-on – perfect lighting, right amount of background music. The menu had a great variety, with something to satisfy everyone, and our server Joel was very knowledgeable. We had selection of hot meze including grilled meat and seafood with some cold dips accompanied with unique greek cocktails. Food was fresh and tasty, we have enjoyed ita lot. Definitely we will be back.

We came for the fourth time in two months, and ordered the meat platter. Food was juicy and tasty, and service was excellent

32 of us went for dinner tonight in the downstairs private dining room. It was faultless. Lovely food and atmosphere. The Zorba shared platters were a particular favourite. Josef and his team looked after us beautifully. Everyone left happy. I can’t recommend this more highly.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Josef and his team. We really appreciate everything you did for us last night! Our food was delicious, highly recommend the Htipiti, and the salted cod goujons - I think they're now 2 of my favourite things off the menu. You really went the extra mile for us and for that we are extremely grateful. Lovely staff, excellent service - highly recommend 👌🏻

We stopped by on a Sunday lunch time. As we hadn't booked, they accommodated us a table at entrance level, which I thought was better as upstairs felt busy and overcrowded. First time at the restaurant, and we picked different servings, that is brought to the table on individual plates. Which I think is cool as we all got to taste different dishes. Food and service was excellent.

Chips were cold, order missing an item (when we called we didn't get the option of them delivering the missing item out, just refund). Souvlaki were ok but on the whole disappointing.

Basically,there's only chips and about 50 grams of chicken in this wrap...

gave me lamb instead of chicken, but it was delicious so im not mad.

Went for lunch, food was great we had an amazing view to the park, very friendly staff and the puddings were great.

Very pleasant food which exceeded expectations. Management also pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the waitress who took our orders, although efficient, totally lacked any charm or character and isn’t suited to a customer facing job. I would happily visit again but hope someone different would deal with our order.

Chips were disgustingly salty (and I usually like quite a bit of salt but these were coated in it). BBQ chicken wings were spicy even though no mention of this on the menu. Waiter changed the wings but ignored my comment about the chips so just couldn't eat them.

We came here for dinner a couple of weeks ago, we made a booking for 18:00 unfortunately we were slightly delayed as there was a festival going on in Bournemouth, I tried to call to let the restaurant know but no one answered, we ended up getting to the restaurant at 18:02 where we queued up the stairs for nearly 15 minutes so we didn’t get to the front desk until 18:15, we didn’t mind this as we knew we had a table booked, however when we finally got to the front desk, the guy told us that we were so very lucky that he hadn’t given our table away, I politely told him we’d been queuing for 15 minutes to be seen so we would have only been 2 minutes late, he ignored what I said and remarked we were VERY lucky that we still had a table and he nearly gave it away several times, this made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable and was a really bad first impression on our evening, I think the guy who was at the front desk needs some training on how to speak to customers, as he came across very rude, the food was okay, our server was however very polite and looked after us, but a first impression really can make or break your experience somewhere, we wouldn’t return here again.

I ordered the falafel wrap. This one was okay, but really nothing special. In my opinion the falafel were too big for the warp and a bit dry. The flatbread was good. However, there wasn't enough sauce in it for me, so it was just extremely dry. Also, the tahina tasted more like a garlic mayo. I also missed the salad. The fries were good. The employees are friendly and the place looks nice too. However, it wasn't for me.

The food was served very quickly and the service was kind. Nevertheless, the lamb meatballs, falafel and tahini sauce were way too spiced (for example with paprika). Cabbage salad was good though. The stuffed pitas were good.

We ordered the meat platter £35 for two but the meat was cold and although the waiter took it back the one that was brought back, the meat was only tepid. I as really looking forward to try this great restaurant but overall it was a bit of a disappointment

I recently visited this Greek restaurant, and it was a disappointing experience. We ordered chicken and pork wraps, but they were out of both chicken and pork, which was surprising and frustrating. The service was poor and incredibly slow, leaving us waiting far longer than expected. To top it off, the prices were high, making the overall experience feel like a waste of money. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place based on our visit

Bad experience. My chicken was very cold and tastes bland and burnt. Restaurant was very cold inside. Chicken Skewers were very small and not worth the money. Severs never came over when we called them to complain about the food.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner at The Real Greek in Bournemouth. The Hummus, Halloumi Fries, and Chicken Skewers were all delicious, and Tomas made sure everything was served quickly and with a smile. Don’t miss the Baklava for dessert—absolutely perfect!

I had an amazing meal at The Real Greek in Bournemouth! The Loukaniko Beef & Pork Sausage Skewer was incredibly flavourful, and the Baklava made for a perfect sweet finish. Tomas enhanced the experience with his friendly and efficient service. Our food arrived quickly, fresh, and beautifully presented. I highly recommend The Real Greek for a fantastic taste of Greece, fast delivery, and excellent service!

Good food, good service. The menu is a little complicated if you haven't been there before but the staff help with that. Not many people there when we had our meal at 6pm but got busier later on so the buzz of a Greek restaurant wasn't apparent, perhaps we were a little early. Lovely meal though.

Food was lovely, only problem was the portion sizes are tiny! I ordered a main and got what felt like a starter. Paid £9 for chicken skewers with peppers and onion. What I got was one skewer with 4 pieces of chicken, 3 pieces of pepper and 3 pieces of onion. Side of rice was nice but would have got more for my money if I’d just gone and bought a kebab! Great service and nice setting, food tasted lovely but I was still hungry when we left. 🙁

I saw some of the negative reviews for this place but our experience was very different! The service was so speedy, our drinks and food came out what felt like a couple of minutes after we’d ordered! The girls looking after the tables outside were really lovely and attentive and I thought the food was pretty good! We had this Olympiad platter to share plus a couple of extra dishes and finished with baklava and pistachio ice cream.
