Liman Restaurant in Islington

Estaba en el centro de diseño de negocios y busqué un restaurante local. Las críticas no fueron erróneas. La comida era deliciosa. Tuvimos el menú de almuerzo establecido, que era muy bueno.

Muy buen menú de almuerzo. Tenían una mano hábil con la freidora, sirviendo unos calamares realmente deliciosos, buñuelos de calabacín y cosas tipo borek. Fresco, crujiente. Muy sabroso. Las carnes a la parrilla estaban tiernas y sabrosas. Tzatziki y salsa de chile casera eran encantadores. Era mucho mejor que el lugar de parrilla promedio. Una cosa que diría es que la ensalada con las comidas tenía un aderezo de sabor comercial bastante abrumador. ¿Tal vez una ensalada fresca con repollo rojo rallado, zanahorias, lechuga y cebolla con zumaque? Pero ese es mi gusto. El personal era encantador, el baño estaba limpio. El entorno era agradable, con una iluminación agradable y asientos cómodos. Tuve un encuentro desafortunado con un extraño borracho afuera que abusó verbalmente de mí. Por suerte la policía lo vio y trató con él. Volví y el personal era muy amable, ya que estaba un poco conmocionado. Por supuesto que no es su culpa si una persona desagradable pasa. Pero ten en cuenta que esta área puede tener algunos personajes insalubres en ocasiones. En general, sin duda recomendaría el menú del almuerzo. Gran relación calidad-precio y cocina de calidad. Tamaños de porción muy generosos también.

Se unió a un grupo de 16 familiares y amigos para un almuerzo de celebración para el que habíamos pre-ordenado nuestra comida. Recibimos una bienvenida muy cálida y la comida y el servicio eran excelentes. Sin duda volvería a cenar aquí.

Llamé antes de ir a O 2 Academia temprano el viernes y me alegro de que lo hicimos. Ambiente muy relajado con iluminación de bajo nivel y buena música de fondo. Una agradable bienvenida y un menú con mucho para elegir. Las comidas con had eran deliciosos y no lo pensaría dos veces antes de volver si en la zona de nuevo.

Excelente comida y servicio brillante de Ahmet. Fácilmente el mejor restaurante en esta parte de Londres. Esperamos con interés mi próxima visita.

Having driven into London to deliver items to student grandson who is now living nearby we wanted to take him for a meal - spotted Liman and liked the look of the menu. Glad we did. Food was very nice although my main could have been a little bit warmer, no complaints about the taste though, very nice. Pleased to see a variety of vegie options on the menu, not just the usual token item. Service was friendly and helpful. We will all come back next time we visit grandson.

Absolutely delicious meals had by all. I was very impressed with the quality and tastiness of all the dishes. The chicken skewer was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We have been to several Turkish restaurants but this really stood out for all of us. The baklava was warm and made in the restaurant and was just the best. The only disappointment with the dessert was having to share it with two others who decided it looked too good. The staff were extremely friendly and gave the exact amount of attentiveness, and were very warm. The ambiance in the restaurant was welcoming and everything was clean and stylish. We were there on a rainy Tuesday night and the restaurant was not busy at all which is such a shame for the owner / chef. It really deserves to be packed out every night.

We were visiting London for the weekend and came across Liman on Penton Street. We enjoyed their delicious food and excellent service.

We were in London for a party on Saturday evening... We went to Liman which we found by chance, on Friday then again on Saturday night - as it was so good! The food, service and ambiance was exceptional! A special mention for Ahmed who was the perfect host! It might be a while before we're back in London but we'll certainly go again!

Excelent meal, great service. All the dishes were excelent . We would recomend to anyone in the are. Lamb was beautifully tender.

Really tasty food with excellent service . The staff were very good and frıendly. It was a really nice evening out with great atmosphere.

Booked for four at the restaurant in Islington. We’ve been here before and know it’s always a good idea to book as it gets very busy. Nice atmosphere when we arrived, we got seated quickly and as usual staff were polite and efficient. Starters were great and arrived quickly. All four main courses were superb, Adana Kebab, chicken Shish, sea bass and moussaka, all delicious! (Sorry I didn’t take any photos). Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely be back again.

We had a most amazing food in London, everything was well prepared and served. Good selection of wine and cocktails with a great value. Thank you to team for a fantastic dinner. Will definitely be back!

Very expensive for not a very good meal! Paid bill £150 for 2 starters .3mains, 2 cokes and a glass off Prosecco Then had an extra glass of Prosecco and bill was £14! I know the small bottles they serve are£2:50 at wholesalers I pay £6:25 in the west end for a glass this was at the end of chapel market on a busy road next to a police station, so not very relaxing! I offered to pay what I pay in the west end and city but no he was going to get me arrested, fine, I will go back tomorrow and pay what I pay in the west end, didn’t have any cash this evening, if he wants to take me to ct 🤷‍♀️
