Absolutley blown away by the customer service and beautiful food in this restaurant and it wholly deserves its 5*, number 1 status.
Greeted at the door, we were early and we politely told the table would be 15mins….popped across the road for a pint, came back and waiter greeted us with first name and sat us at our table.
The food - extremely tasty, well presented, varied and the restaurant is happy to make changes should you not like something on the menu. Possibly one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in my 55 years!
The service - what can I say that hasn’t already been said? Attentive, interested, chatted to my niece about her choice of university course, wasn’t just being polite, but REALLY chatted. Wanted to know about us, what we’d done in Newcastle, what were our plans. We honestly felt like the only table in there so attentive were they.
And finally, the price. Staggeringly reasonable. Just go.
Fabulous tasty food, service was amazing even though it was very busy, always someone there to check when we wanted more food/drink, all waiters were happy which was nice to see!
Amazing service amazing food and amaaaaazing drinks! I got the chicken quesodilla and nachos. Recomend:) They also have a great sortiment of cocktails!
We booked a table Saturday lunchtime to celebrate our son's engagement.
We have been a few times in the past and enjoyed each visit. Therefore, we decided to bring our future daughter-in-law and her parents for luch at this special place.
Once again we were not disappointed the food and the service were excellent.
Looking forward to our next vist very soon.
Sin duda calidad precio muy buena. Marisco de calidad cocinado al momento y a buen precio. Nosotros pedimos los mejillones al vino blanco, gambas que eran cigalas com mantequilla y vieyras con mantequilla.
Surprise Birthday treat meeting friends. We were slightly late but that didn't phase them even though it was very busy, a lovely welcome. The service was spot on, again, especially as they were busy, we never had to wait too long for anything and there was always someone around if we needed them. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere as well, you could tell people were enjoying themselves.
The food was superb. Set menu was a great choice by my friends, others shared a cold meze starter - all full of flavour. The lamb shank was excellent and my chicken Shish was perfect. Of course, Baklava and coffee to finish.
In fact, everything was perfect and I would highly recommend Cappadocia, it is very central, by Pultney Weir / Parade Gardens, so ideal for visitors and locals alike.
Went for a celebratory dinner . Staff were exceptional - organised, professional and friendly (Liam, Lili and Eefke kept me regularly updated before the night hand were brilliant at accommodating requests). The staff on the night 01/3/25 (6:30-10:30pm) could not have been better and really made the experience . Food was delicious and drinks were lovely . Brilliant venue
I'd been to the TB in Leamington but wasn't a fan, so when the team decided that we would come here, I was hesitant. However, we came on a quiet evening (5 of us) and I had a very enjoyable meal. Choices were bad and prices were not extortionate.
It's not a bad place, and if suggested as a place to go I wouldn't be so hesitant.
Nice food, simple menu and great pies. Glad we arrived early as the pub is very popular. Would have preferred to book online, however my phone message was promptly returned.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a cafe to have lunch at. We saw this one on Google Maps and decided to try it out. When we got here we were welcomed with beautiful decor and incredibly friendly staff. We ordered our food, and when we got it, all I can say is that it was delicious. Beautiful presentation, and taste. The dirty fries (pictured) are a highlight - the nicest loaded fries I’ve ever tasted, so I would highly recommend. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about The Rising Café. The food was beautiful, the decor is cute, and the staff are so friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
Well, it was our final visit to the Lakeside Cabin last week. What a wonderful hidden gem this cafe is, and it is going to be very much missed by so many, now that it has closed its doors.
The food exquisite, so tastefully presented, especially all those gorgeous cakes, mouth watering! The location and setting, along with the amazing family who ran it made it a very happy place to be.
Thank you ‘A’ team, for making our trips an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. So sad that you have gone, but we wish you all the best in your new venture. We will DEFINITELY come and find you at Pydar Mews in Truro.
