Whitchurch North, Shropshire
17/08/2018: This is our 3rd time here, lovely place, friendly staff, food fresh and tasty, good beer and wine. Recommend you book popular place.
07/08/2018: I say this because I just cannot rate this restaurant highly enough (see previous reviews)

The Old Bakery Tearooms

Beacon-Stow, Cotswold
16/08/2018: We visited this tearoom on the strength of Trip Advisor reviews and the many Certificate of excellence the owners have received over the years:
15/08/2018: Probably the best scones we've ever tried. Only similar to the ones in Cornwall. The owner was lovely and recommended a few things.

Falmouth Penwerris, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
20/06/2018: As far as I am concerned, a visit to Oliver’s is a must when visiting Falmouth. This small and unimpressive restaurant continues to produce delicious and sotmetimes unusual food. Last week I enjoyed a lunch which consisted of Brown Crab Pate, Goat Faggotts, and a delicious creamy panacotta. Other members of or party enjoyed goat cheese salads, fish cakes and pigs cheeks, and all were very happy.
18/06/2018: Glorious good, fabulous service, the Black Shiraz something to behold. We will return. What a gem of a place advise booking, as we were lucky to find a couple of seats on the night.

The Flintlock Inn

Yarty, East Devon
16/08/2018: Super home cooked food. Delicious burger and nice cold glass of wine. Good beer also . Would definitely recommend
27/07/2018: Good food, good beer and good staff. You won't be disappointed at the quality and value here. The place is off the beaten track but is always busy - what more do you need to know?!

Norbury, Derbyshire Dales
10/08/2018: We visited to celebrate our Wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the whole experience, the food was delicious. The restaurant was well staffed so the timing of each course ran well. We would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.
05/08/2018: I wouldn't recommend The Lighthouse if you are expecting a refined fine dining experience. It reminds me of Alchemilla in Nottingham, lacking the polish associated with a more established Restaurant. It's as if the Chef's and staff aren't entirely sure on exactly what they would like to deliver yet, or what they think the clientele expect.

Mi Casa Su Casa

Bispham, Blackpool, 20-30£
21/06/2018: Took my cousin - she’d never been before - outstanding food, service & staff Thank you A must to visit
21/06/2018: Had a really good time visiting Mi Casa Su Case this afternoon, made all the more better by the lovely sunshine. The service was really great, the staff were attentive, without being overbearing and were polite and friendly. The food was outstanding. The waiters helped us order the right amount of food as we were unsure of how much to order, it ended up being just the right amount. Although we hadn't planned to we decided to stay on for dessert. We'll be back soon.

The Singing Kettle

Whitby West Cliff, Scarborough
19/06/2018: We came here 2 yrs ago and wasn’t disappointed revisited today and the quality service and good value still hold we are the king and queen of breakfasts having tried quite a few and this is up there as one of the best! Will defo be calling in again and recommending it to anyone who will listen
18/06/2018: Down a wee small alley there is a hidden gem - a good old original cafe. No frills, but clean, with everything you could wish for when looking for a good feed. The tea comes in large mugs, and the breakfast is freshly cooked, delicious and plentiful. 2 out of us 4 who attended are vegetarian, which wasn't a problem. Toast was fresh, bacon was good, and the sausages tasty. Bypass the others and pay the Singing Kettle a visit - you really won't be disappointed

On the Hill

Ruthin, Denbighshire
21/06/2018: Perfect service and atmosphere. A cute little restaurant on two floors with an abundance of character. The most notable wow factor has to be the food, with so many flavours its always a truly memorable experience dining here
14/06/2018: Had a great experience here. Superb food, excellent service. Couldnt fault it. Will definitely return.

Hayward's Restaurant

Epping Hemnall, Epping Forest
12/08/2018: Due to a broken ankle our trip to London to celebrate my son's 18th birthday was a no go, but who needs to travel to the centre of London with this gem close by. When i contacted the restaurant to explain my injury they were so accommodating. The food was excellent, the selection of pre starters and desserts were an unexpected delight. Looking forward to coming back before our planned dinner in December with a group of friends.
06/08/2018: My husband, sister and I attended Haywards yesterday for Sunday Lunch. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. We had a fantastic time, Thank you to all the staff for being so attentive and accommodating. We shall definitely be visiting again in the very near future.

Leyburn, Richmondshire, 20-30£
11/08/2018: Surprisingly not full on Saturday night in August. They don't know what they are missing! Pork and lamb both tasty and wine list was reasonably priced. Staff attentive and efficient. Looking forward to return visit to check out the puds we could not try this time.
10/08/2018: This is the sort of restaurant that no longer still exists in London: a highly skilful chef with absolute control of his ingredients and his techniques, matched with thoughtful, knowledgeable front of house expertise that ensured we had the perfect dinner experience. Every dish was perfectly composed and balanced: flavours of course, but textures as well - crispy pulled pork fritters and smooth pea puree, flaking trout and firm fennel - and that's the mark of a genuinely talented kitchen creative: someone who controls the mouth experience as well as the tastebud response. I'm jaded by London restaurant razzmatazz - the endless concept this and retro that and foaming the other - but dinner at Thirteen has reminded me what the best restaurants can achieve: a memory not just a meal.

Owls Nest Tea Room Diner

Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, <20£
27/07/2018: stunning bikers place to meet mind liked bikers ...cracking food ...warm welcome always a good ride up to this cafe ...everyone should add this place to their bucket list would not be disappointed
15/07/2018: After a long drive to Llandovery in order to drive the A4069 (Black Mountain Rd) with some car club friends, a rest stop was needed with food high on the agenda. I’d researched and had put the Owls Nest Tea Room Diner on the itinerary for breakfast. What a great choice! Perfect location, great food, lovely latte, friendly staff and a welcome loo. So if you are planning a trip to this neck of the woods, make sure you pop by here as you will not be disappointed. Oh and awesome to see the many cars & bikes coming and going too

Rest A While Tea Garden

Padstow, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
17/08/2018: We came across the cafe at the end of our walk.perfect timing after a long walk on a hot morning. The coffee was perfect and cake really was a delightful experience. Certainly recommend seeking out Rest a while tea garden when near Padstow.
17/08/2018: We knew nothing of this tea garden when we made the walk out of Padstow towards Hawkers Cove with our 7-year old son, but my husband was drawn by the prospect of tea and we found ourselves sitting in the tea garden with the most wonderful view. Even better was when the lemon drizzle cake arrived - it was fantastic (my husband had to stop me from ordering a second)! We heard other customers raving about the crab sandwiches while we were there so we will definitely be coming back just to try those - and have a bit more lemon cake! Thank you so much for such an unexpected pleasure today!

East Neuk and Land Ward, Fife
14/08/2018: This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff are friendly without being intrusive, it’s small size makes you feel special.
06/08/2018: Superb meal, always enjoy our visits there. Billy is really on fine form - each visit reveals fine dining with really interesting variations and interpretations.

Gauthier Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster, 60-100£
12/08/2018: Amazing food and super attentive staff. Chose this restaurant due to its Vegan tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.
07/08/2018: This was our third visit to Gauthier but the first for their 8 course tasting menu with a variety of linked wines We had

The Corner House

Thanet Villages, Thanet
16/08/2018: We have visited this restaurant a number of times and the food is consistently excellent. The chicken liver parfait is light and tasty. This visit, my wife and I both had steak, tender and flavoursome. The red wine jus was delicious. The puddings are all worth trying. Last night the peanut butter ice cream was excellent. Service is always polite and efficient. The whole experience is very good value for money.
12/08/2018: This was our sixth visit to the Corner House restaurant in Minster and will definitely going again. The food is slightly expensive but well worth the price. The service is second to none. Very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend.
