Crave Ice Cream

Ventnor East, Isle of Wight, <20£
18/08/2018: We visited Crave today having seen their top rating via Facebook. We were not disappointed! The live creams we had were delicious. We'll be back again this summer. And every other holiday!
18/08/2018: Kids were dying to try, can only say it’s the best tasting EVER. Great choice, Pina Colada and Rum & Raisin tasted so good as did all the others! You need to visit if in the area.

Mill Race Teashop

Addlebrough, Richmondshire
26/08/2018: Visited here for a bite to eat and drink in the late afternoon following a great day out at the falls, great variety of choice on the menu from snacks like sausage rolls to sandwiches and wraps and afternoon teas, excellent choice of homemade cakes and scones all at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and quick service. Excellent friendly tea shop ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
26/08/2018: Nipped in very late on a wet, overcast afternoon (17:30+) but they happily served us even though the were tidying/cleaning up for the day. Nice place.

The Town House

Arundel, Arun, 20-30£
17/08/2018: Lovely menu and lots of flexibility about how to have it cooked or what accompaniments to have with it. We surfed and turfed, but the breaded monkfish cheeks and the scallops were great starters and desserts nice to. All lovely and if you book a room deal you don't have to go far. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We were in Rosemary at the front. Their website is a good representation of what to expect.
14/08/2018: Went for the second time for dinner and on both occasions we have had a superb meal, wonderful food at a reasonable price served by excellent staff in lovely surroundings. The foie gras starter is delicious as are the scallops and the chateaubriand is tender, flavoursome and huge!. A special place for special occasions.

The Green Yard Cafe

Bridport North, West Dorset
11/08/2018: this smashing little place is tucked away on the road out of town, and has a lovely sheltered courtyard out back. we needed a good breakfast as we were going walking and chose the bacon and egg sandwich.....I thought I had died and gone to heaven! lovely bread, excellent bacon - truly yummy! prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.
11/08/2018: This is a real gem - very friendly service and they were very dog friendly The bacon and egg sandwiches were excellent as were the pancakes. A really great find - service was unfailingly helpful and polite - thoroughly recommended.

Pamela's Restaurant

Nelson, Great Yarmouth, 30-45£
18/08/2018: Let’s face it, Great Yarmouth it’s not the first place you would think of in East Anglia for fine dining. Which is why it was such a revelation to find Pamela’s.
18/08/2018: We went to Pamela's for our anniversary. We were meant to go in March for my wife's birthday but the beast from the east prevented that. The food was superb. Battered skate cheek and beef carpaccio for our starters. Melt in the mouth lamb for my main and the best creme brulee ever for desert. Service was amazing, particularly from the head waiter who we remembered from our last visit. They even gave us an extra dessert and a personal rendition of the look of love from the saxophonist. Perfect :-)

Thewitchez Photo Design Cafe Bar

Queen's Park, Brighton and Hove
29/08/2018: I've just seen a review which states the girls at Thewitchez were unfriendly. Are they sure they went to Thewitchez? We have been a few times. Each time no matter how busy they were, there was always a friendly welcome. All the time we have eaten there, I have seen customers come in, some they knew, some were first time customers, all were met in a friendly manner and that friendly manner maintains all through the dining experience. It's not every establishment which takes time to explain each dish. That in itself encourages one to try something new and never disappointed with the choices. Sorry, good food, good people. Will be back to try more soon.
28/08/2018: Thewitchez may be small and cosy so book ahead to avoid disappointment. I love the fact it only seats about 20 or so people. The food is outstanding as is the service. I love the prawns with pasta and garlic. Heaven on a plate. I seem to order the prawn dish each time I go. Dog friendly if your dog is well-behaved.

Falmouth Penwerris, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
13/08/2018: Tried to get in on a Saturday night, obviously a months notice insufficient! Took a lunch time slot with a deep frown!!

The Fig Tree

Hurstpierpoint and Downs, Mid Sussex
18/08/2018: What a wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing from the chefs treat through to dessert, and the petit fours- second to none. Fantastic flavours. Great menu choice from fish to meat. All the staff very friendly too which added to our lovely evening. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back!
16/08/2018: What a find this unassuming restaurant was! Tucked away in the nee of the South Downs in the village of Hurstpierpoint in Sussex!! Absolutely fabulous!

19/08/2018: Lovely lunch with family. Never tried celeriac soup, so a little need though because I could live off that soup for the rest of my life! It was beautiful. Main course amazing too. We had to rush off or we all would have had a dessert too. Can't wait for my next lunch visit. X

The Old Bakery Tearooms

Beacon-Stow, Cotswold
28/08/2018: We found this place by chance and very happy we did. The owner made us feel welcome and was really friendly and accommodating with our 5 year old boy who is very fussy and doesn’t like to sit still! My husband and I both had a ploughmans which was delicious and my son had a crumpet with melted cheese and bacon which he really enjoyed. We couldn’t resist sampling a couple of the cakes despite being full and they were as good as they looked! Best lunch we have had in ages, thank you
27/08/2018: Really good food and best cream tea :) lovely service and very very delicious scones... nice home made jam... felt good to eat real homemade scones :)

Chrissy's Tearoom

Perranporth, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, <20£
17/09/2018: Another wonderful cream tea at Chrissy’s. Chrissy’s really is a hidden gem, and what I think is quite possibly the best cream I’ve ever had. The warm scones are beautifully served with lovely jam and rodders. Our toddler is also always made very welcome. Can’t wait till next year.
16/09/2018: Fabulous little tea room. My Mum and I popped in for lunch but we'll be back for one of the yummy looking cream teas, or for a slice of one of the home made cakes that we viewed during our visit. A very friendly service. The lady who served us and I think owns the tea rooms was the perfect hostess for the duration of our stay. We watched her greet all her guests and she was attentive and friendly. The tea rooms are very tastefully decorated creating a homely feel and the place was spotlessly clean. Located not far from Perranporths gorgeous beach. This is the perfect place to stop for lunch or afternoon tea.

Keats Cottage

Shanklin South, Isle of Wight
22/09/2018: I came to visit my Mother at Lymington. We decided to go to the Isle of White for the day and stay at a Bed and Breakfast. I had successfully chosen an excellent Bed and Breakfast near Taunton, Somerset, and I was going to try my luck once again. My luck struck once again in choosing Keats Cottage in the town of Shanklin with a most wonderful charming couple, David and Ewa, to receive us. They were both the perfect hosts. The rooms are excellent with with excellent taste in the decor. David had done his hotel management in Switzerland, and therefore offers dinner in his small but charming restaurant in the evening. Ewa, the hostess, was up early, happy as a lark, to serve our delicious English breakfast. (I live in Brazil) There are some excellent Pubs down the road for a Pub dinner and drinks. I can highly recommend your stay at Keats Cottage.
20/09/2018: Shanklin is not the glossiest of destinations but it does give the world this superb bijou restaurant. The small menu manages to cater for a wider range of tastes than much bigger ones elsewhere. I particularly would like to rave about the Beetroot Soup - a splendidly subtle flavour with great texture.

The Brit Pub

Bryn and Cwmavon, Neath Port Talbot, 20-30£
27/08/2018: Group of 14 booked for meals, all came piping hot not a single issue with any of the meals, good atmosphere polite friendly staff very helpful
26/08/2018: Visited this pub today while traveling to Afan forest, a gorgeously decorated pub with such a quirky vibe.
