Bispham, Blackpool, 20-30£
21/06/2018: Took my cousin - she’d never been before - outstanding food, service & staff Thank you A must to visit
21/06/2018: Had a really good time visiting Mi Casa Su Case this afternoon, made all the more better by the lovely sunshine. The service was really great, the staff were attentive, without being overbearing and were polite and friendly. The food was outstanding. The waiters helped us order the right amount of food as we were unsure of how much to order, it ended up being just the right amount. Although we hadn't planned to we decided to stay on for dessert. We'll be back soon.

The Jews House Restaurant

Carholme, Lincoln, 30-45£

Sutherland House

Southwold and Reydon, Waveney
17/08/2018: In an excellent location in the centre of Southwold, on the High Street and just minutes from the beach. There is no parking associated with the property but that's no more than a minor inconvenience as there is suitable parking nearby.
16/08/2018: We found Sutherland House in the town of Southwold, a step away from the beach on the High Street, and near to the Adnams shop. This place has history going back to the 13th Century - it had a good "feel" to it - Ihink there is also accommodation as well as a restaurant.

The Bank

Bude South, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly, 20-30£
30/08/2018: Spanish/Portuguese style tapas and grills. Great atmosphere and service and the food is really tasty and freshly cooked. Totally different from the normal Burger and silly food available in most restaurants. If your used to going abroad then this is just for you. Spicy, tasty and a good night out. Also great choice for people with a Gluten allergy. Hooray !
29/08/2018: Came with a large group of friends. The food was brilliant and service was brilliant! Really accommodating when I needed to amend my booking. Hats off to the chef for the random mix. I will definitely be going back #hiddentreasure

TJ's Restaurant

Roundham-with-Hyde, Torbay
02/09/2018: I cannot tell you just how wonderful our experience was.
02/09/2018: I felt a little ill when I went with the family recently and the waitress was really helpful, she basically said they would cook whatever I thought I could manage! I eventually went with the kids meatballs!

Champagne Charlie's

Central and Northgate, Great Yarmouth, 20-30£
29/08/2018: This may not be a Spanish place but believe me I lived in Spain for 7 yrs. and this is as good as it gets, but the biggest surprise apart from the fantastic food was that you can eat as much as you like and there wasn't any dish we didn't like, and at a very reasonable price. We all love it and the waitress was very helpful and cheerful, would go back in a minute but we live in Northants, wish we had a Champagne Charles's down here.
27/08/2018: We visited this establishment back in December for a works Christmas party. Excellent, friendly staff with equality good food. Service was quick and efficient. Will be back soon. Highly recommended

El Toro

Wheatley, Doncaster
19/08/2018: Have been so many times and it's always gorgeous!! Best calamari ever 😍😍 never had any bad food, every dish is full of flavour and authentic!
17/08/2018: Visited here a couple of fridays ago after reserving a table before hand.

Porthmeor Cafe

St Ives North, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
04/09/2018: We stopped off at Porthmeor beach cafe for mid-morning coffee and cake. Both were excellent as was the service. The location speaks for itself.
02/09/2018: This is a very special restaurant. It is very busy so it would be advisable to book in advance. We booked one of the pods which give a beautiful sea view and it was heated. You also get issued with blankets should you need them. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

Cove Restaurant & Bar

Falmouth Boslowick, Cornwall,Isles of Scilly
18/08/2018: Haven’t been to the Cove for quite some time and we were fitted in at very short notice. The staff, as always, were welcoming and lovely. We had a table by the window with a lovely view of the sea. Scallops for starters, cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. We had fillet steak and scallops and cod for main, again, perfect and delicious. Wine and Tarquins Gin to drink - perfect evening. Won’t be leaving it so long before we go back again!
14/08/2018: I took my mother for a birthday lunch and it was a great experience. Delicious food, exceptional service and a beautiful location.

Bar Castillejar Louth

Priory, East Lindsey, <20£
29/08/2018: Always great Tapas food here, this is one of our favourite little hide away places in Louth. I would suggest you book to avoid disappointment, as this place is busy all year round. You can’t keep good food quiet for long.😎
27/08/2018: Good night out, good food, good place to spend some time, enjoying the food, relaxed atmosphere. Your always feel made welcome. Can.t go wrong, recommend you give it a try,

Draper's Hall Restaurant

Quarry and Coton Hill, Shropshire, 30-45£
18/08/2018: After a mediocre meal at a gastropub the previous evening, for £57.50, we were glad to have spent an extra £20 at Drapers Hall. It offered an interesting period premises, friendly professional service from a charming Romanian waiter, & most importantly a good value Table d’hôte menu (3 courses for £30) with a fair selection of dishes.
17/08/2018: To celebrate our recent engagement we decided to treat ourselves. We wanted something special to mark the occasion and Drapers Hall was the first place we thought of. We hadn't tried the restaurant since coming under new ownership but had been regular visitors in the past. They fitted us in last minute and we arrived early to enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner. The atmosphere was perfect, music at a perfect level and the the lively hum of people enjoying the restaurant and bar. Our order was taken as we sat and enjoyed our drink in the bar. We ordered wine for the table and it was there waiting for us as we were brought through to the restaurant. Warm fresh bread and an amuse bouche was presented even though we hadn't ordered it. This seemed to be given to everyone and it was delicious and a great way to start the meal. Our starters of roe deer and mains of tournedos rossini were amazing. Full of flavour, cooked perfectly and the portion size spot on. We didn't need any sides with the dishes we had ordered. We waited a while before ordering dessert, irish coffee mille feuille. Light and tasty it went great with an espresso and rounded off the sumptuous meal perfectly. To end the evening we went back into the bar to enjoy a cocktail. In fact, we enjoyed two seeing as they were some of the best we've had in Shrewsbury. We didn't know what to expect when we booked Drapers for dinner, we just knew it was the kind of place to celebrate a special occasion. It was indeed, but it is so much more. The bar is a relaxed place to just enjoy a casual drink, with two outdoor spaces to relax. The restaurant has all the atmosphere that you would expect from a beautiful medieval building but without the stuffiness or pomp that usually goes with such places. The number of covers has been reduced to ensure comfortable dining and a level of perfect service. The customer service from Sarah, Alex and Paul was brilliant. Chef Richard, came out at the end of service and introduced himself, which is such a lovely touch. The new owners and team have turned Drapers Hall around completely and now has it's place in Shrewsbury as a place of both fine dining and casual drinks. We'll definitely be back, in fact we already have.

Bocabar, Glastonbury

Glastonbury St Mary's, Mendip
04/09/2018: Had a lovely meal here with the family. It is located just outside of Glastonbury near a Premier Inn. Loved the food and the place. Fresh produce from local farmers are used. They have a board showing their suppliers. They also have an extensive Gin menu.
30/08/2018: A building right on the edge of the town at the undeveloped end of waste industrial ground might not sound appealing but it's well worth finding. This is part of an "In work" restoration development of an old factory site and is only part of a building that is being developed as a community resource. It's well positioned if you are at the Premier Inn. I would advise booking, particularly at weekends as it was very busy when we went with locals as well as tourists which is always a good sign. Service was prompt & friendly, the food interesting & I had a very tender steak. A swell as a gin menu there are two real ales from small local breweries available. Well worth trying.

Poco Bristol

Cabot, Bristol, City of
19/08/2018: Went to go to kino for a vegan burger but their kitchen was closed. So came here. Amazing! My food was fantastic and I didn’t expect it to be that good which made it even better. I had the salad on the lunch menu, it had everything that I love but made really really well, incredible flavours and looked so pretty on the plate. Can’t wait to come back and try their tapas.
15/08/2018: If you have seen the film Babbettes Feast you will know the scene when the Swedes from the frozen winter sample Babbettes fabulous cooking and it’s warms them up from restricted coldness to gregarious happiness. The food st POCO DOESTHIS. This is Tapas but not as we know it. Each dish was a taste sensation even the roast potatoes were perfect. All accompanied by superb wine including an orange wine which was spectacular. The chef is magnificent the food sourced with the environment in mind.Perfection!

Grange, Southwark, 45-60£
18/08/2018: I went up the View (Shard) a few months back and would really recommend booking yourself into the Gong bar (level 52 in the Shard instead). The bar is opulent and the waiters move you to a table near the windows (with a view) as soon as they get the chance. You can have a glass of champagne or a cool cocktail for £20 + 12.5% service. This is the same price effectively as a ticket to the View so I’d recommend booking the Gong bar and having a drink instead. I’m a born and bred Londoner so I’m probably not quite as bothered about it as a tourist might be but I guess the only advantages with the View is that you can walk around more freely and have a slightly higher viewpoint. However, for me the two experiences are incomparable. If a visitor comes to London then I’d look to take them to the Gong bar. If they suggested the View instead then I’d book them into a mental institution :)
18/08/2018: It took a while to get someone to take our order, the cynic within me thought this would be the case as they already had a guaranteed minimum spend and credit card details! Once they began to serve us, service was good, but slow to deliver the drinks.

New Moon Cafe Tapas Bar&Restaurant

Clifton, Bristol, City of, 30-45£
17/08/2018: Booked a table with friends during a weekend stay in Clifton. Very friendly staff, nice un hurried service. The quality of food is excellent. I know tapas is small plates of food, but I think the portions need to be a a little large. When I have eaten at other tapas restaurants the portions have been larger. We did leave still feeling Hungary.
14/08/2018: Thou a very small restaurant , it is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. Staff were lovely. The food outstanding , a wide range of gluten free options which staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about.
