Gauthier Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster, 60-100£
11/11/2018: We went to Gauthier for’s easy to get to ...not far from Leicester Square tube station. I liked the fact that you had to ring the doorbell to get in! The building itself is quite old fashioned with various rooms...the staff are friendly. Although the food was very tasty the portions are small...I think a person with a big appetite would struggle here! However we had a lovely time and didn’t feel rushed! Not bad prices and the chairs were quite comfy...all in all a good day!
09/11/2018: Hög service och en meny som erbjuder både ala carte och avsmakningsmeny med vinpaket. Mycket vegetariska alternativ för den som önskar. Utmärkt nästan perfekt

Maison Bleue Restaurant

Abbeygate, St Edmundsbury
11/11/2018: I enjoyed a birthday surprise from my wife on a Tuesday evening, We were treated with superb service from the moment we arrived. We have dined here before and will continue to do so for the fantastic service, food and dining experience.
08/11/2018: From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave the service is impeccable. They even fold your serviette whilst you are in the toilet! The menu is very well written with lovely choices and well priced. The food itself is amazing, lovely flavours and so very well presented. The wine list is varied and has a good price range. 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return.

Truffles French Restaurant

Fareham East, Fareham, 20-30£
12/11/2018: The restaurant was cosy, but enough space between tables for private conversation. They had art for sale on the walls which made an interesting and colourful ambiance. Service was friendly and effiicient and when the starter arrived the hostess was able to describe the dish in detail. Presentation was very good, and the flavours exceptional, thought had been given to every dish. I had the vension which was cooked to perfection and very tender, my sister had lamb which she thoroughly enjoyed too.
09/11/2018: The food was delicious, tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. Lovely presentation and service. If this place was in London, it would have been heaving, extremely good value for the quality of the food we ate. Fareham, you are lucky to have this on your doorstep, make the most of it.

Lansdown, Cheltenham
04/11/2018: I took a friend for lunch on Friday 2nd November 2018. The service was excellent, the food was superb, the restaurant has a really great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and helpful. I love all the special little touches in this restaurant: amuse bouche, different types of hmemade bread with olive butter, glasses for a cold drink are chilled, an individual pot of chocolate ganache with your coffee. The food and flavour are exquisite and beautifully presented, withouth beiig minute portions. A little taste of heaven.
03/11/2018: Well. What a gem of a restaurant. My husband and I stumbled across L’Artisan a few month ago on an earlier visit and decided to book it for a special Birthday. Elisabeth and her team delivered a stunning meal for the four of us. It was wonderful with Elisabeth guiding us through the courses. I cannot offer high enough praise. Thank you for making it a wonderful night to remember.

Restaurant 27

St Jude, Portsmouth, 60-100£
11/11/2018: Myself and my son ate at this restaurant on Friday night and it was an αmazing experience. The food was absolutely to die for. Every course surpassed our expectations. The staff were very knowledgeable about each course and were so friendly and professional. It was α truly fantastic dining experience and we can't wait to eat here again.
11/11/2018: We visited restaurant 27 to celebrate my Wife’s Birthday. We visited for Sunday lunch. The service was exceptional, the food of very high standards and generally a very relaxed and friendly environment. We would highly recommend this as a special event or romantic venue.

The Guildhall Tavern

Poole Town, Poole, >100£
10/11/2018: We visited the restaurant this evening and found it a very charming place. The only downside side is the management paid more interest in regular customer then first timers .
08/11/2018: We came here for lunch on Halloween to celebrate my birthday as we wanted to dine somewhere special.

Le cochon aveugle

Guildhall, York, 30-45£
20/10/2018: This place is obviously trying all out for a Michelin star, but you can see why they're not there yet. The food was exceptional in parts but poor in others. Service was a bit pompous with a feeling the staff think they know better than the customer. Drinks list is interesting. We've left 3 stars but 3.5 would be fairer, its better than average but not very good.
06/10/2018: We have been regulars here since it opened and the quality has always been outstanding. The service is top class and it is delightfull to go there and be recognised every time ebven if we haven't been for months. The hot and cold egg starter was great, the scallops were superb, the duck was melt in the mouth and the black pudding in macarons is a dream (even for those who profess not to like BP!!) . Thank you again for another wonderful evening

St Benedicts Restaurant

Mancroft, Norwich, 30-45£
30/10/2018: We like fine dining and went with friends who do too. We all thought that this was a great food and very good value for money. I didnt think all the wine pairings worked but some gems and also good value.
29/10/2018: A lovely evening with good friends and fantastically cooked food. Do not come here if you want steak and chips- come here if you want food cooked as it should be!

Waterside Inn

Bray, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
04/11/2018: Visited the waterside again for lunch for mums 75th birthday we had a great time and the staff and service was excellent as ever this should be on your bucket list of places to eat
04/11/2018: We went with some friends for a joint 50th, my wife and Having been for her birthday a few years back (pre trip advisor account) when we had an incredible meal.

Cheese & Cheers

St Jude, Portsmouth, >100£
10/11/2018: One of our favourite places to eat when the grandparents are on duty. We love cheese and the wine helps. Great selection of cheeses that make your heart melt (pun intended) Fabulous in every which way.
04/11/2018: We went for a birthday date night without the children and had a lovely time. We had a selection of hard cheeses, blue cheeses, quiche and charcuterie which was all BEAUTIFULLY presented with little bits of fruit, salad and pickles. It also came with a basket if bread. We had desert and a couple of drinks each and thoroughly enjoyed all the food and drink. The owner described all the cheeses and the service was attentive but without being imposing. Absolute gem of a place and we will definitely return!

Quite Simply French

Castle, Lancaster, 45-60£
05/11/2018: We went last night for the first time in ages and we are so happy to say the service was superb, really jolly and friendly staff. It was the squiffy night, the food was delicious, really fresh and bursting with flavour. And the free wine was a bonus- we managed to dine before heading to see a comedian at The Grand so had a really really lovely evening- well done team QSF- you still make us smile!! Can’t wait til our next visit! The service was absolutely excellent. Thank you
04/11/2018: Went for our annual bonfire night had oysters to start they were excellent then chicken supreme to follow what can i say fantastic the rosti with it was so good full of flavor the best place in town .

Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons

Great Milton, South Oxfordshire, >100£
12/11/2018: Big occasion and booked a big name venue to match and it started and ended so well but the moment when we expected fireworks it was just a damp squib.
12/11/2018: We ate here five years ago and desperately wanted to return as it is an iconic venue and we both love the cooking of Raymond Blanc but sadly this was a little disappointing on a Sunday night. Most of the courses were very good but not amazing which was our previous memory but the main meat course on the taster menu was Jimmy Butler's piglet which was bland and the meat was not tender and had too much fat and sinew. ( I love fat on meat but this was not pleasant).

La Trompette

Turnham Green, Hounslow, 60-100£
08/11/2018: My friend took me and some of our mutual friends for a long lazy and very filling lunch. The restaurant lives up to its reputation and Michelin Stars. We enjoyed the tasting menu as well as a la carte menu. Stupendous in every form.
05/11/2018: We greatly enjoyed our family dinner, the highlight of which was "Iron Age suckling pig", the tenderest piece of pork I have ever eaten.

La Boheme

Lymm, Warrington
06/11/2018: The food was excellent but our table was disappointing. We were up against a wall which meant we had to get up to let each other out, accepted in a booth at McDonald's but not when we're out for a special dinner. We couldn't read the menu due to the lack of light at that particular table. We enjoyed the evening but the table spoilt the experience.
30/10/2018: Excellent, tasty food. Brilliant service by lovely staff. A fantastic night had by all 6 of us. Thanks La Bohem

Seven Park Place

4 offers
St James's, City of London,Westminster, 60-100£
04/11/2018: Top class food, impeccable service, intimate atmosphere, and elegant setting. I booked a table at Seven Park place for my husband's birthday celebration. I had high expectations as I knew about its 4 AA Rosettes and the Michelin guide had just awarded it a star for the 9th year in a row. Seven Park Place didn't disappoint. It delighted us with very sophisticated dishes that never felt pretentious.
23/10/2018: If you want to celebrate your birthday in style this is the place. Incredible food and very friendly staff. Come with an empty stomach as the treats just keep on coming!
