Gauthier Soho

West End, City of London,Westminster, 60-100£
21/06/2018: Where to begin , food was out of this world , friendly service by young Hungarian boy with lovely smile and delightful manners ! Can’t Waite to return when next time in London Regards , K
17/06/2018: Situated in a Georgian town house in Soho, Gauthier offers top end modern French cuisine and a reasonably strong wine list based naturally around the vineyards of France. There are two dining rooms, on the ground and first floors. There is a choice of a la carte or set menu, with a good range of vegetarian options. The food is light, immaculately presented and unobtrusively served. Tables are reasonably well spaced. A mistake in recording the number in our party at reservation stage was quickly put right by giving us a better table.evening.

The Artichoke Restaurant

Amersham Town, Chiltern, 60-100£
17/06/2018: My wife and l visited with a friend for a ‘big birthday’ celebration and decided on the five course tasting menu. Frankly, l have never had a better lunch. Each course was a taste sensation and exquisitely presented. The staff were attentive without being overly...
17/06/2018: This is the place where you can discover tastes, textures and flavours you did not know existed. I rarely write reviews but have been moved to do so as this restaurant provided such an all round wonderful experience. I went for the lunch tasting menu;...

Michael Wignall at The Latymer

3 offers
Bagshot, Surrey Heath, 60-100£
19/06/2018: Stayed overnight at the Pennyhill Park Hotel and ate in this, their in-house restaurant and experienced a really good tasting menu. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, an old building feel with superbly (but not too overly) attentive staff. The 7 course tasting menu...
10/06/2018: Our recent anniversary meal was enjoyed at Latymer and my husband and I were intrigued to see how different it would be under Matt Worswick. We were not disappointed at all. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu and every dish was delightful. This...

Maison Bleue Restaurant

Abbeygate, St Edmundsbury
21/06/2018: We went as a couple for a lunch to Maison Bleu. The service was attentive and not obsequious although I was a little disappointed that the maitre dit did not come to talk to us as she did the other diners. The food was very well presented and perfectly seasoned and fresh. As a wine aficionado I was a little disappointed by the range of French wines - I was expecting more top end Bordeaux... That being said the selection was diverse and there were solid wines at all price points. On to the food...
21/06/2018: When will nouvelle Cuisine go out of fashion? It might be good to look at but borders on the ridiculous. A courgette the size of a thimble, carrots the size of broad beans. Smoked salmon so thin and covered in spiralized vegetables. My hake was completely without flavour. Extra costs for bread and boring vegetables. I always leave here feeling hungry. The customers are old die hards.

La Boheme

Lymm, Warrington
20/06/2018: As usual the meal was delicious and refined in a smart environment. Polite staff. However I regret the introduction of "non authentic" dishes such as sticky toffee pudding.
20/06/2018: Staying in Lymm with our daughter & SIL, we were treated to lunch at La Boheme on Father's Day. Lunch was later than usual, 3:30pm as the restaurant was so popular.

Yalbury Cottage

Charminster and Cerne Valley, West Dorset, 30-45£
20/06/2018: We were able to use the whole venue to have a great family party - intimate but fun, with fantastic food and good service.
08/06/2018: We thoroughly enjoyed our two night break at Yalbury Cottage. Our welcome was exemplary and our room ready (and available) early. Our first evening meal fulfilled our expectations. There was plenty of choice on the menu for all courses; good, friendly and knowledgeable servers; good quality food and drink in a very pleasant setting. Breakfast was of the same excellent quality.

La Trompette

Turnham Green, Hounslow, 60-100£
19/06/2018: Had not been for a while and must come here more often espically on a Monday were the charge is £5 as BYO i was surprised how busy it was. The food was very good and this is a fine dinning experience.
18/06/2018: Classy food and service at this place. All course from the tasting menu were good in particular the fish courses and short rib main. Would certainly recommend La Trompette to anyone looking for a West London fine dining experience.

Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons

Great Milton, South Oxfordshire, >100£
20/06/2018: Words can't say how much we enjoyed this place so I am not going to attempt to..... Apparently the computer says I have to make more of an effort (minimum of 100 characters) so hopefully this extra piece has satisfied it.
19/06/2018: Мне очень понравилось это зовидение,вежливый персонал,хорошая кухня,классный интерьер,мне понравилось это зоведение я бы порекомендовал бы всем!

The Guildhall Tavern

Poole Town, Poole, >100£
19/06/2018: Wonderful friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, delicious food. We sat in patio area and the whole experience was delightful.
19/06/2018: Every time we have visited this restaurant it does not disappoint. Staff very tentative. Wonderful food. Always delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone and have done.

Lansdown, Cheltenham
Felicidades a ambos.
18/06/2018: Typical but interesting menu, changed regularly. Lovely staff. Good central position in Cheltenham. Intimate atmosphere.

Waterside Inn

Bray, Windsor and Maidenhead, >100£
19/06/2018: Came here to celebrate my birthday.
19/06/2018: The Waterside continues to be a first class three Michelin star restaurant. There is however something intangible missing now that Diego has left. Also food levels continueTo rise to astronomic levels.A meal for 4 persons with a modest wine can be £700!

St Benedicts Restaurant

Mancroft, Norwich, 30-45£
18/06/2018: Food was average, small portions. Wine list is small and poor for a restaurant that is suppose to be fine dining. Much better food and overall experience at Haggle, Roger Hickman's and Farmyard! Avoid at all costs.
18/06/2018: Really excellent service and very very good here in this pared down and relaxed restaurant, which delivers all the right things without being up itself. The canapes they bring you were a delight and the pork melted in the mouth. The other desserts surpassed the much lauded trifle. Well recommended and actually good value for money for the standard of cooking.

Cheese & Cheers

St Jude, Portsmouth, >100£
13/06/2018: We went to cheese and cheers for my partners birthday and it was impeccable. The service was brilliant - they even put a candle in his starter! The food was brilliant and the wine was delicious, and all at a reasonable price! But it was the service that absolutely topped it all off. Will absolutely return.
11/06/2018: It was such a lovely place to celebrate with friends. Delicious food and drink in a very warm and friendly environment. The passion of good food and drink was obvious in the staff, who were always quick to provide extra information on the delights on offer, when asked.

Restaurant 27

St Jude, Portsmouth, 60-100£
19/06/2018: Not what you would expect to find in Portsmouth - not just a meal it's a whole dining experience. Fabulous food and great service, have visited for a few special occasions now and they never fail to impress!
16/06/2018: I’ve been here twice now and each time has been a lovely evening with some truly delicious food. I love that Portsmouth has such a great restaurant in it and that food of this quality is available at such a reasonable price. If you haven’t been here yet - go! I urge you to eat and drink until you’re merry. The little chicken pie course has been my favourite on each visit but the beef short rib on the last visit was also divine and the onion veloute... oh my.

L'amuse Bouche Restaurant

Priory, Malvern Hills
11/06/2018: Had a wonderful family meal at the restaurant. The menu was simple but with excellent options, the food was fantastic (decent portions, fresh and beautifully presented) and the staff were very attentive and professional. It was pricey but it's a beautiful venue with wonder food. It also seems very popular so it's probably best to book a table in advance
27/05/2018: A varied menu but all the dishes we had were first rate. Seared scallops to start - I had three but the following evening my companion received only two! They were still delicious. This is a restaurant for fine dining not convenience food so the portions are adequate without being overfacing. And the patisserie is divine.
