Cheetham, Manchester, >100£
18/06/2018: Me and my husband had a nice dinner there on a weekday. The staff were very helpful with the menu, and gave us some good suggestions. Everything was so fresh and tasty definitely the best sashimi and sushi in the Manchester!
17/06/2018: Aesthetically I imagine this restaurant is very authentic. The intimate feel (there were but sixteen covers iirc), wood panelled walls, music, etc. we’re all very charming. The staff were polite, charming, helpful. The menu is nicely laid out, mostly sushi with some sides including a few hot dishes. There was a specials board with three hot and three cold dishes.

McHalls Bistro

Claremont, Blackpool, <20£
18/06/2018: Found here by use of Tripadvisor.
17/06/2018: Tried many many times to book at table at McHall’s on a Sunday. Thankfully this time Mrs D took it upon herself to think ahead and book for Father’s Day.

Burr's Restaurant

Newport Central, Isle of Wight, <20£
18/06/2018: I’ve eaten here many times now and never had a bad meal, menu is superb and staff very attentive and helpful. I have been with my grandchildren who are also catered for without a problem would highly recommend
12/06/2018: Nice cosy atmosphere, quality staff, good choice on menus and very, very nice food! My steak was melt in the mouth delicious and the portions were of a reasonable size that allowed space for dessert, which I usually end up skipping. The only down side was that I felt the vegetables of the day that were automatically served with the food ordered didn’t really go with steak! And would rather have had it served traditionally, but that’s minor matter.

Chapel House Tea Rooms

Dunster and Timberscombe, West Somerset
17/06/2018: What a charming Tea Rooms. Stopped here yesterday 16-6 for some lunch after wondering around Dunster castle. I had a Ham and multigrain mustard sandwich on granary bread it’s was delicious and huge. My wife had the quiche homemade and was also delicious. The staff...
16/06/2018: The orange and raspberry cake was amazing, very light and beautifully made and very tasty. My son ordered an egg sandwich with a hint of paprika which he thoroughly enjoyed and we were both comfortably satisfied afterwards. The tea rooms have their own unique and...

Old Vienna Restaurant

Wellswood, Torbay
07/06/2018: This gem is tucked away from the main tourist area. It offers a menu of Viennese, English and continental dishes mainly away from the norm with creative combinations of ingredients. It is small so booking is essential. The owner is a charming and humourous person who will tell you a few stories to make you chuckle. An enjoyable evening makes this place highly recommended.
05/06/2018: We asked Werner and the team to do our catering for our wedding reception- and boy what an incredible decision that was!

The Tudor Room

Thorpe, Runnymede, 60-100£
22/05/2018: This was my third visit to the Tudor Room at the fabulous Great Fosters; my first for lunch. From meeting and chatting with Istvan, the charismatic Hungarian manager in the bar, through to dessert, the experience was sensational. It can only be a matter of time before a second Michelin star is added. For £34 (including £10% discount for membership), you will have the best four course lunch in Surrey in one of the most beautiful locations. You will be assisted in your choice of wine by the very best sommelier - who even remembered the wine I chose on my last visit several months earlier! My choices for lunch were canapé, scallops, pork and the cheese selection (selected by Istvan), with a fabulous glass of sharp yet not too dry Vouvray. All exceptional. Make no mistake, this is Waterside Inn style fayre in a more relaxed setting. Highly recommended!
12/05/2018: We had a brilliant time at the Tudor Room. I requested (in advance) a vegetarian meal and no goat products because of an allergy and they made special arrangements, and I had a wonderful meal. All the food was delicious, imaginative and beautifully presented.

Ditto Restaurant

Whitby West Cliff, Scarborough, >100£
18/06/2018: We found Ditto restaurant via Trip Advisor and it had great reviews so we booked a table. We were so pleased that we did. The restaurant is small and intimate with no pressure for you to leave. The food was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef. The waiting staff, Luke and Jude were very friendly and the service was efficient. When the restaurant was full there was a good atmosphere with people talking and laughing. There was music playing in the background which was very much to my taste. The price was very reasonable for the food and drinks considering the quality. Overall a fantastic experience and one we would thoroughly recommend to any one who enjoys fine dining. We would certainly return if in Whitby again.
17/06/2018: Amazing restaurant. Full of staff that really care about the place. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the evening menu. Well done

Ye Olde Steppes

Pembridge and Lyonshall with Titley, Herefordshire, County of
16/06/2018: The best gluten-free scones I've ever tasted and the kindest staff. I highly recommend the afternoon tea.
12/06/2018: Ye Olde Steppes came to our aid when we were planning a birthday party celebration. We wanted to have great food in the barn where we ( a group of 12) were staying without the hassle of cooking ourselves. One phone call to Sam at Ye Olde Steppes and everything was sorted.

The Old Bank

Snettisham, King's Lynn and West Norfolk, >100£
18/06/2018: Cannot speak highly enough of this amazing establishment. Louis and Agar have created a brilliant mix of exquisite food and friendly service.
18/06/2018: it use to be good until it was taken over by someone else.i had a bowl of chips and they were smothered in salt.i ask who did it and she said we do.i said it should be up to the customer but they were not bothered and still charged so never been back.

Duncans Tearoom

Richmond West, Richmondshire, >100£
18/06/2018: Everything about this cafe is good. Great food -amazing cakes & deserts, friendly staff. Anyone would struggle to find anything to complain about here.
16/06/2018: This tearoom is absolutely delightful. It has a lovely ambience and Karen was so friendly, efficient and welcoming. The food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here and would cheerfully recommend this tea room. If you enjoy a quintessentially English tea room this is well worth a visit. Well worth waiting if there are no free tables. This is our tea room of choice in Richmond.

Alcester, Stratford-on-Avon, 20-30£
11/06/2018: I have always loved this place but today it didn't seem up to it's usual standard. The cake selection was quite poor even though it was only 11 o'clock. The cake we chose was nice but it is was chosen as the best of what there was on offer, and was not what would have been a normal choice. Being a lovely day we sat in the garden and were not offered the coffee top-ups that are usually on the menu here. A shame because a visit here is part of the reason for coming to Alcester.
10/06/2018: Two of us were turning 50 so invited friends to join us for vintage high tea. Good range of sandwiches with delicious coleslaw, salad and crisps, mix of fruit and plain scones with jam and clotted cream plus a range of superb cakes. To top it off, bottomless tea too - think we got through a couple of gallons since we sat and nattered for over 2 hours. Cafe is beautifully presented with beams, bunting, flowery table cloths and china like your nan had! Will definitely visit again. Lovely afternoon and a great memory. Thank you!

The Olive Tree

Cheadle West, Staffordshire Moorlands, <20£
18/06/2018: Amazing tapas and great hosts. Treat yourself to a visit as soon as you can. There's a wide range of dishes with gluten free and veggie options too.
17/06/2018: We were recommended we visit this restaurant by an acquaintance whose opinion we trust and were not disappointed, what a gem!

17/06/2018: We visited with friends on Steak night and what a wonderful place. Arrived to a roaring fire pit outside and an incredibly friendly welcome. The food was amazing, the steaks were cooked and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. A great place I would be more...

Mill Race Teashop

Addlebrough, Richmondshire
17/06/2018: Stopped on our walk to Aysgarth falls - lovely cafe with great food and staff. We had the cream tea with a delicious scane, jam and a mountain of cream.
