There were 5 of us booked into to get some food. I got the salt and pepper shredded chicken with curry sauce. Oh what a lot of food. The dish comes with a large portion of rice and a watercress garnish. Absolutely delicious. Food was piping hot. Staff were all very attentive and professional. We were last out and we didn’t feel like we were being pushed out. Amazing food well done and we will be back down

We recently had Sunday lunch in the evening in this establishment. We visit the area every year and were impressed by how this particular venue had been renovated to a high standard. Food was delicious but as ours was the last booking of the day we felt that the staff just wanted to get us out of there as quickly as possible!. Most of the staff were lovely as friendly (shout out to the two Asian staff, absolutely amazing) but one waitress in particular seemed very grumpy and unprofessional, not really explaining in any friendly detail why we had to get our drinks order in so quickly and then sighing when we tried to order drinks with our meal. For the price we paid, we expected a more professional service from all staff. The food however, was delicious. Good portions which were fresh and lovingly prepared. But maybe if there isn’t sufficient time to give guests an exceptional experience, maybe the last booking should be an acceptable time to accommodate the working hours of the staff.

Waited way too long for food and were very underwhelmed with Both presentation and standard. Just very average at best. It was also very cold where we were sitting in the booths at the back. Service was exceptionally slow both for food to arrive and clearing the table. We had to ask for them to clear the table. We will certainly not be returning. All food was overcooked in particular the fish, which was more batter than fish and burnt. Portion sizes for starters and desserts we felt rather on the small size. Overall exceptionally disappointed. Not good value for money. Perhaps stick to being a pub and don’t bother with the food.

Perfect place to explore area. Minutes from station and high street. Rooms very clean as were linen and towels. Everything you needed supplied. Decor a bit tired but that didn’t spoil the stay. Plenty of parking. Food good and very generous portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t take much to make this place 5 star.

Long established family-run cafe in the indoor shopping centre in Glenrothes. Extremely popular with the locals. They provide a full range of services from cooked breakfasts, mid morning tea & coffee (with cakes!), lunches and afternoon teas. Counter service can be slow when it's busy but it's worth the wait. They have a glorious selection of cakes, scones and other goodies and their afternoon meal deals are excellent value. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and informal, no airs and graces from the staff, just a genuine friendliness and willingness to make you feel welcome.

Just arrived back from a holiday from Inversnaid Hotel with lochs and Glen's Holidays. We have been doing coaching holidays for the last 25 years with various companies and can honestly say this was the best holiday ever. Lovely clean hotel, comfortable beds, fantastic food, brilliant driver Sandra. 100%. Will definitely be using this company again.

Been coming here for the last 25 years.... at the start 5/5 for food and for a great Saturday night out. Weekdays had the occasional tribute act or spiritualist night. The P!nk act was out of this world. Changes have made recently(since Paul left) over the last few weeks. The food menu has become simplified. Gone are the amazing meals that clearly were made with love and attention to detail. The choices now are very much like wetherspoons, you can probably hear the microwave ping. Gone are the durty fries and the easier to make chips and curry sauce or chips and cheese. The lounge bar is great if you are a bloke wanting a pint of tennants whilst sky sports plays in the background. The best thing about the place is the pub quiz. Hosted by Mac (very funny) usually won by Brian, Homer and Co.
