Xmas party night with work. Two course meal which was ok but definitely not worth £50 each. Very small portions of turkey, roast potatoes and some hard veg. Apple crumble for pudding which costs pence to make was ok. Expected more to be honest.

We come here quite a lot family fave. Service is brilliant as always a lot of us so they really accommodate. Had the Carvery before which is nice & good value for money. Burgers r pretty good too. Wee play area bit for the younger ones inside & also a playpark outside which is brill in summer swings, basket swing slide etc.

We waited at the bar here while a flat tire was being fixed at the garage next door. A couple of drinks turned into dinner and a wonderful conversation with the owner. Some of the best fries I've ever had in the UK and a terrific venison burger. Highly recommended!

A very warm welcome from the staff, they were very attentive. Evening meal was ok, the rooms are great, the shower was probably the best shower ever. The view from my room was absolutely outstanding, the local knowledge by the staff was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay near Ben Nevis and the Canal locks. The thing I would say though is that the corridors could do with a refresh, but this has no bearing on the stay at all. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The food here is great, the angel cut fish especially and the pizzas are good... But they really need to fix their ventilation. Every time for months I pickup food the atmosphere in the shop is very smokey and hard to breathe. Think what it must be like for the poor staff who work there day in day out? Can't be good for them!
