The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

Applebank provided my family with a lovely spread after a funeral. They were very kind and helpful. The food was good and the service and staff were amazing.

I was there on a Sunday. We had the roast and potatoes along with a couple beers. Service was very good.

A stunning wedding venue! We were so lucky to be asked to travel all the way up from Brighton to capture this incredible wedding and adored working at Citations. Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff and a dream to work at. Highly recommend for couples looking for a relaxed and fun wedding day!

Really poor experience and living off a name and long departed reputation I feel. More batter than fish, extremely poor chips, ordering system unclear on the night we were in. Asked if chicken goujons were in batter or breadcrumbs. Advised batter but breadcrumbs it was and inedible For my daughter. King rib decent. Order messed up but handled well by the server. Extortionate prices for what you are served. I’m not a huge fan of the Tailend either (one daughter is) but they are simply on a different level.

We came here as a big group of 14 people. Staff were very accommodating and everyone enjoyed their food. The playground outside is great for children to play at too.

The limited menu was very poor. Service was good and it's a lovely restaurant but they should inform you of the cut down menu when you book.

Have been here few times for meals which are great but unfortunately today Sunday dinner wasn't chicken,gammon was quite hard tasteless rest was about cold custard was stone cold aswell really disappointed as it's a lovely place

Good place to go if you want to watch a few football matches on at the same time. Not bad prices.
