Best fish and chips we've ever had excellent service fish and chips was £11.50 well worth it

Beautiful fish panoramic lambdish and chicken sang curries peshawar naan and boiled rice. Friendly and helpful service . Would definitely recommend.

Debated on what to order because the menu looks incredible. Ordered the fish and chips and it was so good I was legit tempted to eat the lemon wedge just so the experience didn't have to end.

Same staff, same food, same quality. Had a fantastic lunch here and the food was absolutely first class as was the service. Venison was absolutely first class. Not sure if we were in on the same day as previous review but fail to understand logic in both comments and review when nothing operational seems to have changed. Look forward to our next culinary experience in this “fab little restaurant “

My partner and I ate in the bar area on Friday night. Food was great, service friendly and helpful and the place had a really nice vibe.

Delicious food and benefitting the community

Disappointing works Christmas meal last night, focaccia was basically pizza base with rosemary and salt, soggy lasagne main had no garnish or sides , veggie pizza was bland, plus compulsory 15% service charge for a large group. Lazy, soulless cooking.

This hotel went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. They were exceptionally clean, the food was incredible, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The staff were simply wonderful, warm and welcoming. The decor was brilliant and honestly they whole experience was like a dream. After a day of exploring Scotland it felt like coming home. Thank you so much for a happy and memorable experience, and for anyone who is reading this and wanting to stay, there is plenty of parking, the hotel is pet friendly too, breakfast is delightful and most importantly for me they really take care of you if you have food intolerances.

Unexpectedly after 2 volleyball matches we came here on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Fortunately, a table became available, which was lucky, because it was so busy. Had to wait a while, but it was so worth it! We enjoyed it so much! This is not the last time we will be here!

From check in to check out, we experienced 1st class attention. Food in restaurant was great and good value. Loved how quiet it was despite being close to a busy road. We will certainly come back to this hidden gem.

Great atmosphere, service and menu. Would've preferred some dressing for arranging on salad bed and dessert, although very tasty, was way too sweet. Overall it was great experience and I'd go back for more food.

Disappointed - had a reservation for a pre- rugby lunch on Saturday. Unfortunately despite having email confirmation of the booking, there was a ‘system issue’ and no table was available. Try finding an alternative table around Haymarket/Murrayfield on a game day 🙁
