Great place to get morning rolls or lunch. Love the paninis. Gift shop too. Tray bakes are amazing. No indoor seating but plenty outdoor seating. Well worth a visit

Popped in for bacon roll and a cuppa when staying nearby recently. No customers and 3 staff, one staff member behind the counter was more interested in taking selfies whilst pouting. There was no customer service and every interaction was a one word answer reply, we genuinely felt like we were 'cramping the style' of the staff present. To top it off the bacon was undercooked and we left without finishing our rolls, definitely way better places to eat where you are made to feel welcome on the island.

Lovely place for takeaway food/drinks, just sit outside and let the world go by, Good for gifts. Nowhere to sit indoors but its the sunshine isle so no problem!!!

First of all the coffee served is delicious. Staff member very laid back but pleasant. However, the food offer was poor. I bought a black pudding roll. I expected 2 pieces of black pudding ( as is normal in just about every other establishment in the UK !)but got a single tiny piece of black pudding that was totally dwarfed by the roll. The alternatives seemed to be a fairly dried out mutton pie. Pretty poor as their clientele appear to be holiday makers waiting on the ferry. Definitely one to give a miss .

I remembered that I've had so much food that was definitely enough for at least 5 people. really fresh and sweet seafood!

We visited this week for lunch and was not disappointed! Friendly welcoming staff, nice modern restaurant with plenty of selection on the menu. We had the high tea which was only £20 for 2 people and consisted of delicious fish and chips with a cuppa after. We also had the Solero frozen cocktail which was yummy!

My family & I had a lovely breakfast, ingredients were of great quality & a good size portion. The tea we had was also really good. The only thing that let the experience down was when we ordered a kids size breakfast for my hubby. There seemed to be a slight issue over the request even though we explained he has recently had surgery & lost 80% of his stomach. Sadly I’m not sure we will be back as he did feel very uncomfortable by the situation

This was our first ever trip to Oban (despite being Scottish my whole life... I haven't always lived here) and it was a lovely town overall. We popped into the Oban Chocolate Company to grab an ice-cream for the walk back, but ended up getting chocolates instead as the ice-cream flavour choice was limited at our visit (which could purely be a stock issue). Another reason we popped in here was because it was dog-friendly. The chocolates we bought were really nice and we enjoyed them with a cup of tea when we got home later that night. The flavours were just right, not overpowering, and the temper (snap) of the chocolate was excellent. What more can you ask for? There is a selection of prints and original artwork by Helen MacKenchnie (wee_adventure_art) which caught our eye, and I very nearly bought one, but being a print I'm going to find the artist and see if the original is available. This is just personal preference. I do have to add, being big tea drinkers we looked at the mugs for sale (as they appeared possibly local stoneware) but a quick flip over revealed "made in china" which was a bit disappointing and so they were left. For me, I'm expecting local items (like the chocolate and art) from places like this and had the mugs been from a local producer (I know there's one in Lochgilphead, because I tried to make my own there) then we would have likely bought them. Overall, a nice shop / cafe with great chocolates, dog-friendly and right on the shore front. When we're next in Oban we'll definitely pick up more chocolates to enjoy.
