Coast Coffee in Argyll & Bute

This cafe went above and beyond. Not only did I get chips and cheese with a coffee (after a 30mile bike ride) but I also managed to charge my phone and when I asked when the ferry was due got an up to the minute status

Really good coffee, lovely smoothie breakfast bowl, and sourdough toasties for lunch- in Dunoon twice and went in twice.

This is a fantastic spot! Stopped in to grab some toasties for lunch and they were super tasty and great value for money. Would strongly recommend checking this place out if you are in Dunoon.

The range of food is so good from gluten free to vegan, they also have breakfast and lunch options which are really good and a new special every week to keep us wanting more 🤤😋

If you're wanting to grab some coffee and/or a wee bit of food on the go then you'd do well to go to Coast Coffee. I say on the go as there is no indoor seating, athough I have sat on the bence outside before now. The coffee is tasty and strong, especially the flat white. Today, I tried the Stornoway Stack, see the photo. This was tasty and satisfying. The service was pretty fast too, and friendly. I'm sure I'll be back before too long.

The food is amazing. I have been so many times. I’ve been going for a long time now. I love how they change the special every week. Also the staff are lovely. So helpful. Will definitely be back.

I am addicted to coast coffee toasties! The best and the team are always so friendly. I am not vegan but often opt for a vegan option because they’re tasty as! Failing that, they do the best cream cheese and bacon bagels in town!

Regularly get my Coffees here - the Argyll Roast (local) coffee is made just right. I rate the Katsu Wrap ( freshly made as ordered) as 14/10, tho' the other food is really good too. Great that there's a Special's board for that wee something new. All the food and drinks are reasonably priced. Amazing that such varied and fresh food comes from such a small kitchen space. The staff are really nice too, and always helpful.

Me and my family were visiting Dunoon and found this lovely coffee shop by the coast and we definitely appreciate the friendly service and delicious coffee we were served and we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful wee drink break. thank you so much and we hope to be back visiting you again.

While waiting for ferry back to Gourock this afternoon, we stopped here for sandwich lunch. A vegan sausage with red onion, blt wrap, and can’t remember details of my husbands choice, but was from the vegan options-toasted with cheese and black olives +. All freshly made and unexpectedly, really tasty. Very much enjoyed.

Amazing little business with a surprising variety of food and drinks including a vegan menu. This week’s Christmas dinner wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding is amazing 😋 and all delivered quickly.

Found ourselves in Dunoon on an afternoon whilst touring the area. Having two dogs with us, we were walking along esplanade, looking for a suitable place for a quick bite to eat and drink, when we stumbled upon Coast, a quirky little kiosk near Pier. Staff were warm and friendly and menu, simple but appetising. We chose chicken wraps , one Katsu, one Hunters. Both delicious. Also being a warm, sunny afternoon, we opted for milkshakes, both of which were also delicious and very refreshing. So simple, but so, so good. We’ll be back.

Great little Coffee. The BLT wrap and the Stornoway stack was excellent. We are looking forward to the next visit!

Ordered a vegan toasted sandwich, (red onions, olives, sun blushed tomatoes, cheese and mayonnaise) delicious and packed full of flavour, accompanied with an excellent coffee latte. Service was superb. Great price for a great product.

Come rain or shine they never disappoint. Always vegan choices on the menu and they make a really good caramel soya frappe for those sunny days. A must visit if you are in Dunoon.

Firstly, thanks to Coast Coffee for keeping the coffee flowing during the lockdown. Rather than closing up shop like everyone else, they adapter to the situation and supported our health workers with free drinks and provided a welcome respite from the apocalypse for those wanting to get out for a walk. Their coffee is fantastic, perfectly made every time and their food menu is highly creative and tasty catering to all dietary requirements. It's a great place to stop if you're on a walk, or even as somewhere to go if you're out on the bike. And they deliver! Great work!

Coffee was pretty good but value for money has considerably dropped since I last visited - ordered a large coffee and it seemed half the size.

Stopped off for a lovely cappuccino with the other half. Ideally situated on the sea front opposite the hunters quay ferry to Greenock. Very reasonably priced been here a few times now and always enjoyed 😀

Lovely hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and cream. Great view across the water to enjoy whilst having a hot drink. Located by the ferry.

Had the best panini with bacon, brie and cranberry. Latte to follow just set off a great lunch in Dunoon sitting in the park. Service was great and so friendly. Will definitely be back next time we visit Dunoon.

A small but very welcome cafe on the sea front offering cakes and hot food at reaonsable prices with good service and views from all windows.

We visited during the mod revival festival when this place had some outdoor seating and music going on which was good. Not much I can say except that the staff are friendly and the coffee is good - it's in a great location to sit and enjoy the view (and handy for the ferry).

There sees to be a clone of these places, but the one next to the Western Ferry terminal is a comprehensive outlet with all snacks. Grabbeda couple of ice creams before the crossing. The guyat the counter wasn't the friendliest or most communicative example on the planet.

Had a large ice cream which was most welcome on a sunny and hot day in July . The also serve other snacks and a variety of food.

Ser vegetariano me cuesta salir, especialmente en los pequeños pueblos rurales, sin embargo, tenían una extensa gama vegetarianos, que estaba delicioso! Por desgracia, sólo 1 miembro del personal y ella estaba dirigido fuera de sus pies! Así que tuvimos que esperar un rato pero ella explicó la situación, era muy amable lo que más que compensó por esto. Sin duda, volvería de nuevo y me encantaría si abrieron un lugar cerca de mí! ! !

Mi pareja y yo me dio un picotazo en este fantástico para llevar a comprar algunos rollos de madrugada y té, lo que bacon la gran decisión resultó ser los rollos de tocino eran absolutamente increíbles, en un rollo de bacón crujiente marrón suave y a un precio muy razonable.Situado al lado de la terminal de ferry es muy conveniente para los viajeros.Esperamos nuestra próxima visita.

Dropped into their pop up bar last summer and it was really great to sit and watch the world go by, the coffee was hot and good but unfortunately the Bacon roll not really great - pre-cooked sliced reheated

Best takeaway coffee in Dunoon, (although you can sit-in with the papaer cup) and for such a small place to creat such a varied menu of wraps, panini's, rolls etc.etc... even bagels.

Tijdens een wandeling prachtige plek om even koffie te drinken met wat erbij. Serveerster deed erg haar best en was erg vriendelijk met snelle service.

Venga rápidamente mientras todavía tienen su licencia al aire libre, a lo mejor poco cafetería en Dunoon. Práctico para el ferry y los jardines y tiendas; sirve comida y (por el momento) de alcohol.

Visitamos Costa Café alquilar palos para jugar con mi hijo de poner al otro lado de la calle, en el Castillo de la casa de los jardines. La chica que sirve clientes fue muy agradable y amable y una auténtica experta en tareas múltiples. Mientras que clasificar café y girando en la parrilla panini y servir a los clientes. Nos dieron bebidas frías, un panecillo y gran imperio encantador helado en nuestra visita, todos a un precio razonable y con una sonrisa.

Cajun chicken roll with peppermint slice and white coffee for £5.20 represents very good value. Served with a smile too.

What a bargain ~ Coffee & bacon roll £3!!!! I like to sit on the benches opposite and look out over the Clyde on a nice day. Quick and efficient service from the young lady who works in there. Like it a lot!

Good quick coffee to take away on the ferry or to sit on the promenade and rest a while why taking in the surrounding sights.

Regularly stop off here for take away coffees, definately the best coffee locally and had better decaf coffee than any of the big coffee houses I've visited. They also do good value paninis, toasties and rolls all freshly made. More recent addition of excellent home made soups, though sometimes the soup can be a bit on the spicy side but excellant for a cold winters day.

Best coffee in Dunoon, ideal for taking on the ferry, also good for light snacks for take away as well. Prices are reasonable and service is really quick.

i strolled into coast coffee this morning around 6:45am, unaware of what was happening at the time i felt a strange overwhelming feeling of what can only be put as an 'out of body experience' i felt my own self come out of my body only to float above the barista to ask for a Skinny Caramel Macchiato, i was then presented with the beverage in front of me, proceeded to take a sip and was overcome with the most intense taste explosions in my mouth.An array of beautiful flavours from rife coffee beans and wondrous syrup, this coffee was the equivalent of an early Van Gogh, or perhaps the sculpt of a young Michelangelo.An artist was truly at work here.I can not recommend enough.

Came to Dunoon to visit family and was currently undergoing a 12 week diet. When I entered the dainty wee hut I was overcome with the smell of fresh bagels and what can only be described as the hottest middle aged man I've ever seen. Got his number and a cream cheese bagel, don't tell my wife!

you are served by the owner, he cares and makes the best mocha I have tasted in Dunoon....big smiles, nice conversation.....

I was working in Dunoon for the day and wanted something quick in my short lunchbreak. I had a sweet chilli chicken panini which was freshly made, very tasty, and I liked the friendly service :)
