Excellent food and service, relaxed atmosphere, good selection on menu, tray bake and scones are delicious. Also often visit for a coffee after using the gym.

Lovely staff, very attentive can eat inside or outside, great varied menu & drinks, added bonus is that its dog friendly. Can't wait to go back

Visited Edinburgh for a week and stayed at the dormitory of Queen Margaret University with a big group of friends. Every time we came back from activities in the city, the first point we headed to was MAGGIE'S to settle down and grab a good cold drink. The staff was really helpful and always served with a smile. The Drinks and the Food were prepared well and plentiful for the prices. If I return to Scotland on another vacation and I happen to be in the area, I'll make sure to visit again.

The perfect place to spend some time with friends. The service is great. Very good breakfast and lunch, all kinds of drinks and freshly tapped cold beer. Alternatively you can sit outside in the sun and enjoy your drink. Was there every day for a week with friends. Breakfast, lunch, coffee, beer, everything available that you can expect from a bar on a campus. The staff is very nice and lovely.

Stayed on campus with a group of (international) friends. Maggie's quickly became our meeting point and go-to for everything we could ever need. Good food, great drinks and great service.

Visited this place almost every day during a week vacation, staying at the university. The food was fantastic and they had a big variety on the menu. The drinks were fantastic and the staff was very helpful. Even assisted our big group to get a booking for dinner at another place, when they would have been closed. Absolutely fantastic place with a fantastic atmosphere.

Just spent a week with a rowdy bunch of internet nerds and we spent a lot of time at this place. staff are friendly, food and drinks are reasonably priced. And a big thanks for their help sorting our group out with a place to have a last night meal.

Efficient and quick service with a smile. Food was great and would recommend the Southern Fried Chicken Wrap, Macaroni Cheese, Fish cake and Pork and Chorizo Burger for lunch. Atmosphere was lovely and staff very friendly conscientious. Portion sizes and prices very reasonable for food and drinks.

Found the food to be cold, especially the chips and vegetables, reported this to the manager and he said he would speak to the chef but he never came back, we told him the plates were cold and he replied with the plates come from elsewhere, if you had complained when you started your meal I could have done something but I will speak to the chef. we thought this was the cold shoulder but never the less we just drank our drinks and left but very poor customer service by the manager. If I have to score this meal and experience 2-10 and that is being generous.

Is there a cheaper place to get a pint and amazing food? I don’t think think so ! Honestly gobsmacked by what is on offer there, have made it a regular place to stop by for breakfast, lunch and the odd cheeky pint or cocktail.

I am not a vegan in any sense of the word but I decided to try one today and Maggies bar and cafe I have to say it was delicious its had the texture and taste of a real beef burger and served on a soft morning roll with crisp baby gem and sweet tomatoes and perfectly seasoned fries with it too. I would 100% have it again on my next visit

Went for some food and drinks. Great choices including a small pop up shop where you can buy your groceries. Wide selections of drinks and food. Excellent service & Friendly Staff members. Will be back again.

Great spot for a coffee, a fabulously tasty bite to eat and a walk around the grounds. Reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful. Blown away by this hidden gem!

We regularly call in here for scones and coffee. Both are excellent. There is a good variety of food on offer. Staff are very friendly. This is a gem of a place that is well supported by the local community. They have large grounds that you can walk around.

Stopped in here for a quick bite and desperately needed coffee fix. Staff super friendly, speedy service and very good coffee. The flatbreads (pick your own toppings) just what was needed. Definitely recommended if you're in the area. Wasn't beer time for me, but £2.50 pints nice to see when so many other places are exorbitantly priced in the area.
