Popped in here for coffee, before a tennis session. Was greeted by smiles. And was served the most drinkable coffee I've had this year. Well balanced! Not too bitter and no funky or watery taste. I had this sitting outside, although wouldn't have minded having it inside the roomy cafe with a character of its own. Reminds me of the pre-covid Tchai Ovna in Glasgow. Will return.

Really enjoy the pizza, coffee & atmosphere of the cafe. It’s a great creative space to get work done & seems like an artists studio . 10/10 recommend

I'm so surprised as it seems this place can not be criticised in public. Prior to being treated badly, I gave it my custom a few times , how anyone can say its reasonably priced is ridiculous. The pizza was average and not worth the price. not authentic and had better from a shop. The interior the last time I was in was grotty akin to a student squat. On my final visit I was ignored by staff who saw me waiting I can only take away that it was racially based as they kept ignoring me , staring at me and repeatedly walked away not even a wave of direct communication . Very hostile to say the least. I believe I must have been lucky and been served by the owner the other couple of times who seemed friendly enough. However owing to the last visit I wouldn't waste my time going back.

Such a great, unique place to go for a coffee or something to eat. It has a charm that few places in Edinburgh can match and the staff are really helpful and friendly. I would totally recommend this place for anyone who lives in Edinburgh or if you are just visiting. The prices are cheap for Edinburgh too which is always a positive.

Honestly feels like you are in the living room of a student flat in the best possible way. I really like the pizza, too.

I stumbled across this little cafe whilst walking through Tollcross and thought i'd pop in for a coffee and a bite to eat, upon my seating down, the Barrista (I believe he was called Mr Capuccino) took my order and delivered an amazing coffee whilst the chef made my pizza. The sourdough leavened pizza was all made from scratch and was absolutely amazing. The staff then had a break and sang for the whole cafe utilising the piano and many instruments they have around the cafe to sing Elvis. Amazing. Will be returning forthwith.

This is a place all on it's own So comfortable. In an age of the franchise it is encouraging to find an excellent independent. Don't miss it.

A nice relaxing warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, efficient service, great discounts for students and artists, delicious food, a piano to play on. I'm sure it's buzzing when it's busy, it was fairly quiet but no less an enjoyable experience. Mega excited to go back!

This place is a rare find in Edinburgh - no tourists nearby & great ambience, service & prices. This outfit makes the best pizza I have ever had outside of Naples. The space is very welcoming like my own living room only better. Unlike half the eating establishments in the area they take card payments which is fantastic. If you need to get away from the crowds & high prices normally associated with this city check this café out. You wont be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Fresh funky new age Edinburgh café serving authentic Naples style pizza. Quite possibly the best pizza outside of Italy in Scotland. All pizzas are prepared to order & this commitment to quality is evident in the finished product. If you are looking for a relaxed environment away from the tourist traps with great service, ambience & prices you should check this place out. Highly recommended.

My favourite spot in Edinburgh - this place has phenomenally good pizza, great coffee and the best atmosphere of any place I've been. The staff are charming, funny and exceptionally talented musicians (upon request they performed the best rendition of 'I've Been Stuck in Town' by Nick Wakefield and the Wandsworth Commoners I've ever heard!). It's the kind of place you just wished you had started. A unique spot in a magical city, it is a must for anyone when in Edinburgh!

The Peanut Gallery Cafe is a new cafe in Edinburgh that has been a joy to discover. It has a great, calm vibe and is perfect for meeting and catching up with friends over a good coffee or an even better pizza. This place has such a creative atmosphere baked in to its bones, I often come here to do a bit of work and some writing. The owners/management are huge supporters of the local arts scenes too. Everything about this place is authentic and charming. A really special joint. Just you wait until everyone else finds out about it.

Met friends for coffee here and really liked it. It has an arty, laid-back vibe - sofas, canteen tables, books, piano - good coffee and friendly staff. Close to the Meadows and right by a bus stop so handily placed. Worth trying out.

Pepperoni pizza added smoked cheese and salami Delicious, the toppings were powerful esp the smoked cheese (scarmoza). The dough is good but it's those that have quite a bit of bite, I have to admit it gets annoying and tiring to chew after half a pizza. Salami isn't as impactful as the pepperoni, just go with double pepperoni Haven't tried Wood-fired yet, but as of now this is the only pizza that passes my standards in Edinburgh. Worth a try Update: got it the second time, the dough was significantly thinner this time, this less chewy. Unfortunately a little bit burnt at some parts. Got double pepperoni instead but they didn't give too much pepperoni and so it wasn't as umami as could be, or as before

Oct 2022 - OMG yes I highly recommend this eatery. I think I ate dinner here 4+ times out of the week. The employees were friendly and attentive. I tried different items off the menu, but I must admit I always went back to the pizza. That dough and the way they hand make it were stupendous. They also offer gluten-free penne and spaghetti. Great location and the prices were reasonable, hence the multiple trips there. Oh oh they make their own beer, I had multiple Hopo Lagers. I believe they have 4 that they craft. Great choice for lunch or dinner. You can join their rewards program too and receive discounts, just mention it to the servers and they will adjust the bill.

Only ever ordered chips and cheese from here, but compared to other places they're way better at it. Their small sizes are pretty packed, and they layer cheese instead of just sprinkling it on the top. Very specific review, but I'd rather travel across half of Edinburgh to get chips and cheese from here than get some from a nearby takeaway.

Good selection of toppings for pizza. Will note you need to order online and wait 10 minutes instead of just walking in and ordering. Only complaints are the cherry tomatoes fell off the top of the pizza and the larger wedges seemed like they were a little undercooked in the middle. Very hot pizza and Very hot wedges 10/10 will come for seconds.

Pizzas were ordered to be delivered at 7.40pm We called the pizzeria 5 times asking for updates , every person told us a different thing - always a lie . We’ve been told pizzas were on their way, that pizzas were 10 min away from us etc When I asked if my husband could go and picked them up, they said it was possible but they couldn’t make freshly made new pizzas for him. So my husband was meant to pick up pizzas made hours ago despite having paid for a different service and delivery time. No manager had the time to speak to us and no one from the staff had explanations, answers or at least being apologetic!!!! This is the worst service ever . Both from Razzo and Uber. Pizza has arrived stone cold at 10pm
