This is my newest favourite place in Edinburgh. The food is fantastic and the place is very cozy.

We had pizza, pasta and wraps. Everything was super tasty. Service is very friendly. I can only recommend it!

Our visit wasn’t planned we popped in hoping to get a table. So glad we did. The food was delightful. The artichoke salad was sublime! We will definitely return. A real gem

Really good food. They tested much better than they look.

I would call it Mediterranean restaurant. A living special dishes you don't see at other places. Not only flat and calzone pizzas but also gondola shaped with egg on top, nice! For the rest pasta, burger, meat, fish and Vega dishes. We will come back!

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Eden Kitchen. It is BYOB Tuesday-Thursday so we took our own wine. The service was warm, friendly & prompt. Both myself abs my daughter loved our pizzas. The starter of calamari abs hummus with lamb and eye fabulous too. I don’t know how we managed it but we stuffed in dessert too. Lovely sticky baklava and a chocolate brownie. Would definitely returns. My only minor gripe is it took 3 days of repeatedly phoning and an email to try to organise my booking. Having a better ansaphone service would be good or an online booking system.

Dear readers, I saw in advance that the restaurant has very good reviews, but it still deserves another star! I ate the best pizza of my life there and I didn't expect that! Price-performance ratio is just great, super friendly service and the location is also nice. We recommend!

Genuine welcome, lots of help tuning the menu to my wife's requirements. Served as soon as it was (freshly) prepared. Great value for the centre of Edinburgh. Just try it..

The hummus with Lamb was delicious- i could have eaten 3 plates of it! It was served with homemade bread made in a proper pizza oven. Waitress was lovely too.

Don’t even question it…make the walk and enjoy the pizza prepared right in front of you. Great with kids…everyone left happy…all 6 of us.

Delicious food, but only one option with no onions/garlic. Food came out ar very spread out times so half the table had finished as the other half was still being served.

Rarely do I write reviews unless a place is outstanding in some way. I stopped in this unassuming bistro for a coffee but ended up getting garlic bread, hummus and falafel. I can’t speak to their entire menu of course, but what I ate was some of the most balanced (in texture, heat and flavor) plates of this sort I’ve ever eaten. I have a few days left in Edinburgh and will be back for dinner.

Great spot for a lovely (but not too expensive) lunch/dinner with a group, big or small. We booked our table of three on the afternoon of the night we had the meal with no problems. Lovely mezze starters and the pizzas are really the highlight! I especially appreciated the staff letting us have the table for as long as we did.

Absolutely great food ! Had the lamb tagine with was very tasty, and the hummus is absolutely awesome . Will go back for sure if I come back to Edinburgh

Food was absolutely fantastic. It was early evening during the week so was nice and quiet. Perfect for our group of 4 plus our toddler. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Window seat was great for people watching. Would loved to have been in Edinburgh for longer so we could have tried more things on the menu.

The Lamb Tagine was phenomenal and the service was excellent.

Fantastic food and prices which will bring us back

A lovely light lunch. A wonderfully flavoured lentil soup, some falafel and a shared baklava with an excellent coffee to finish. The restaurant was very quie, but the food was lovely, and the gentleman serving us was charming. Definitely somewhere to return to.

Absolutely fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We booked last minute with the kids and enjoyed a feast of pizza, halloumi wrap, spinach filo pastry, kids salad! fries, wine and chocolate brownie. So glad we stumbled upon this place. Thanks for a lovely meal

Wow! Really DELICIOUS bistro! LOVED my veggie wrap and side of fries. My friends loved their halloumi and hummus wrap, with lovely side salad, and gorgeous seafood pizza. Decent wine. As we’re only up on Edinburgh for an overnighter and heading back home tomorrow, we’re basing our stay pretty much around the vicinity of the hotel we’re stopping at. The other half spotted this lovely little restaurant just around the corner and, based upon the photos of the pizzas alone, decided that’s where we should eat this evening. They just look “right”. Having visited Amalfi and passed through Napoli last year, we’ve been really picky about pizza since coming home. Some of the scone-based slop passed off as “pizza” in the U.K. is an embarrassment to the name! We started with a couple of old favourites of beer battered calamari and halloumi, served with lovely warmed flat breads and tzatziki and salad. This is the real deal people. Chunky and creamy stuff you want to dive in to. But that was just the entrees. We both plumped for the anchovy pizza (12”) and, well, it was just perfect. I mean, perfect. Proper clay oven fired, thin base, beautifully balanced topping to base ratio, olives that literally pop with flavour, everything you want your pizza to be. Indeed, “that’s the best one I’ve had since we were in Napoli” was said….. and you know, it actually was. Just lovely. Even the coffee to finish just tasted right. Lovely people are running Eden’s Kitchen and from the small yet perfect formed menu we sampled only a few things from, they REALLY know what they’re doing. Go, throw them your money and make yourselves really happy at the same time. We will return.

Relaxing comfortable restaurant with simply amazing food bursting with flavour. We selected from the Meze menu - prawns, calamari, artichoke salad (with the most fantastic dressing) falafels, bread. The coffee was the best we've tasted in a restaurant - freshly ground! Coffee and carrot cake is a must. It was truly wonderful. Tuesday-Thursday you can BYOB which is great too. Looking forward to our next trip. Not expensive and only a stroll from the centre of town - well worth it to avoid city centre OTT prices.

Delicious mediterranian style food that was all extremely fresh, wholesome and felt guilt free. Quite quiet and was able to walk in and be seated immediately. Lovely laid back atmostphere, not too expensive and service was fast and attentive. We'll be back!

Amazing, visited twice during a work's trip to Edinburgh. Solo dined - escaping central city chaos. I tried both lamb and salmon, really fresh. Waiter was friendly, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our meal here. Starters of Hummus and Tzatziki with breads followed by a couple of pizzas and a couple of Calzones. Everything was delicious. We were there on a Saturday night and got there for 5:45 and by 6:30 it was quite busy so would suggest booking.

Delicious food and kind service. Great option, specially if you aren’t used to local food. It tastes like Mediterranean, so I had a good salad, fish and fresh taste.

Had dinner here with the family. It is a small Restaurant with just 2 or 3 staff, but has a lovely atmosphere and is very friendly. They have a varied menu and some good vegan choices. They also were happy to talk about the choices. All the food was delicious, and the plates we saw going to other people's tables also looked great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here in this relaxed and charming place, and will not be surprised if we end up back again very soon!

Visited this restaurant 2 nights in a row, food was delicious. Would recommend the sea bass and the lamb tangine saying that everything looked tasty. Defo recommend.

Discovered this restaurant en-route to the Comedy Club. Took a while for our drinks to come, meals came at different times, however the food was beautiful and more than made up for the latchy service.

This is a very pleasant little place with friendly service and a surprisingly large menu. Everything we had was delicious with standouts being the Lamb Tangine, avocado salad, and Gondola pizza with Chorizo. Not fancy at all but a real treat - three of us ate for £50 and we were stuffed.

Very small but perfectly formed italian restaurant. Lively atmosphere and the food was so good I went back the following night. I was dining alone during a business trip and Eden's kitchen ticked all the boxes for me. Sevice was excellent and the food arri ed promptly. The taste and flavours were authentic and I would recommend a visit.

Fourth time we have been here. Never been disappointed.Nice warm atmosphere, bring your own bottle( wine shop next door), great friendly service, and, the best Pizzas I’ve had in Edinburgh. There is of course many other options on their extensive menu. Lovely evening.

Wonderful spot. Doing byob 2 doors up from the best wine shop in Edinburgh is an excellent idea! On a warm evening I brought a lovely Albarińo and then matched with a bunch of small plates. All were excellent and the service was really warm and welcoming.

Really excellent pizza. This should be more highly rated than it is. We came in at lunchtime and found the service to be warm, the food delicious and the prices more than reasonable. Do yourself a favour and visit

Lovely meal. Starter was the vegan aubergine Susaka and the mains was a chicken feast pizza and prawn spaghetti with no parmesan. Food was really good! No faults.

Lovely food and amazing prices, BYOB is perfect for me! The Venue is very small, staff great but did feel a bit rushed, finished our 1st bottle of wine with plenty time to spare but wine glass was removed as soon as finished, no chance to start 2nd bottle altho we had 45 mins left? But still rate a 4.5!!

Just fantastic. We live in Edinburgh and love coming here! The mezze banquet is our standard go-to! Such a great place to have on our doorstep. Delicious food. This family fun place is so welcoming and all the staff have always been superb. Lovely atmosphere. Great for couples and families.

Food is really good, sadly it is let down by unhappy staff. We weren't even finished our starter when our mains appeared. Staff were not happy about this and I felt we were an inconvenience to them. Shame as the food is lovely but not somewhere I would rush back to.

AMAZING little restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh. Prices are very reasonable, décor pleasant and staff extremely polite and friendly. The food is just great- freshly made and absolutely delicious. I wish I lived closer to get my pizza from Eden's kitchen!

Highly recommended. The atmosphere is great, think it has maybe 7 tables so is quite quiet but also has a cosy feel to it. The staff (the lady serving us really, as she is the only one we really spoke to) - absolutely lovely, it was as if we were family. Finally the food - hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in and i was gobsmacked at how cheap it was. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the bill so we tipped well because I felt like I was robbing them. Could not recommend enough.
