Nice small cafe serving limited hot foods. It's a nice quiet area to sit and relax in, especially if, like us, your train was cancelled. The server was polite, prompt and well presented.

Very fresh cake and good coffee. Two coffees and two cakes for £10. Well worth it.

Staff (or their management) would prefer you to rinse out your own eco cup in the toilets before filling it with tea. Nice enough soup though, in small bowls. This was the only small blight in an otherwise excellent visit to the galleries.

We discovered this wee restaurant by accident. We were meant to go to a Turkish restaurant that night but some muppet (me) booked a Greek restaurant instead. We were but disappointed. Tucked up a wee street near Santander in Dunfermline is Attica. It's a restaurant that had clean line of sight through part of the restaurant to the kitchen. We sat in this section. We had a mix of small plates to sample as many of the dishes as we could, whilst leaving room for dessert. The service was great. The member of staff was happy to give recommendations based on our questions. The smells coming from the kitchen had us excited about dinner. We were not disappointed. Go to this wee gem of a place. I don't think you will be disappointed. The owners also have the Greek take away in Dunfermline (we passed it on our way to the parking). The restaurant is accessible but please be aware to reach it you will have to either walk up or down a brae.

This is such a great place. Our room was clean and spacious. It has such a great history. The main part of the Hotel is 250 yrs old as you can see across tge yard where part of tge original Mill is still standing. Brent, the owners is personable and willing to help in everyday possible. Breakfast is provided at a fraction of the cost compared with all the food you get. YUM! You can't find a better place to stay for the price.
