Had booked a table for 2 adults and 2 kids for Sunday lunch (carvery). Arrived and stood waiting for about 10mins before we were seated. Had a sinking feeling at this point as the place is v dated and there seemed to be little staff on. Initially only 1 behind the carvery and another who was on the bar and serving. We were taken to our table and left. Sat for 10 mins waiting for our order to be taken. Another table arrived with a new waiter and I overheard them being told to order at the bar. I caught waiter and checked this. Queued at bar where we had another wait and then finally got to carvery. A family ahead of us had given up by this point and plates half full asked for their money back. We persevered. Food was ok. Plates were cold and portions of meat were tiny. Extremely disappointed in our experience and would not go back. Do not recommend.

Popped in for a snack had the gammon steak was nice staff very friendly and welcoming will be back if I pass again they have quite an extensive menu so plenty to choose from

Had a lovely lunch. Sharing platter to start which was served promptly. Fresh & hot. Mains were of good standard and cleared plates. Cheesecake for pudding which was delicious. Served by Jill who we had a laugh with and was very attentive. Would recommend, price wise too. 👍

You are selling a carvery meal on Sunday it said in the menus It would be served until 6 pm when we went in the Carvery meal Stopped be ing served at 2.30pm but in your menu it said it was Being served untill 6pm. I do not know when our table was last cleaned and the building is in very poor condition with paint peeling from windows and the place looked dirty. My wife went to the ladies toilets but she found them dirty.and a pile of birds poo at the front door. (Not very good Brewery fare)

We booked last-minute for an early dinner tonight, four adults and two children. Our table was ready for us. Good choice on menus for adults and kiddie meals. It's easy to order at the bar. You pay while ordering which I like as you don't have to hang around afterwards waiting on the bill. All our meals arrived fairly quickly and were lovely.....hot and well presented. Our waiter, Michael was very good, friendly and efficient . I'm sure he said he's usually the chef? If they are short staffed,we certainly weren't aware. Thank you for a lovely meal!

One member of staff on. Who was more interested in telling you what they couldn’t do. Stayed 5 nights and ever night they had a different notice up saying why they were closing early or tills not working. Glad to leave and go home. Awful……

Had a great lunch with good friends. Food was good service excellent. Jill our waitress was very attentive to all our needs. Quick service. You never felt as though you were being rushed. Very relaxed atmosphere great time had by all. WILL BE BACK AGAIN VERY SOON.

Food was ok, nothing to rave about but the customer service is spot on Nathan is very helpful and made my visit was very welcoming. Will be back toilets could do with air freshness both male and female my partner said that the womens absolutely stuck. Certainly wouldn’t want to be sitting near the toilets, place could get done with a lick of paint but anyhoo,, the staff are friendly but seem so rushed about, will be back

Was served by the lovely Blair absolutely 100% amazing customer service his charismatic and charming personality shines though, he always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful experience. Also Connor and Dillon who brought out our food is always happy and smiling and always takes care of us, was here just last month didn’t have too much of a great expierence but tonight definitely topped it off. Thanks again definitely will be back!

Would not recommend anything except the staff!!! Can not fault the staff but the food was terrible. Ran out of nearly everything. Soup was awful and was served with a slice of stale bread. The premises itself is dirty and rundown. The toilets were stinking and dirty. Have been going for years but today will be the last time. Very disappointed

I visit this restaurant at least twice a week, and today we had a family meal banners up and everything, a nice little card saying happy birthday….. Always had a good experience , food always nice and hot . Dillon one of the staff at brewers fayre craighouse is amazing . He is Very polite and always welcomes you with a smile! What a lovely family meal out we've just had, will definitely be back, the only down side is the poor lad was running the food by himself.

Been here numerous times before and always got a got quality meal. So was extremely disappointed with the meal and service today. Ordered meals, paid for the meals to then be told they didn't have some of the food ordered.... By this time it too late to leave and find somewhere else. So ordered another choice of meal , which they didn't really fancy but accepted it. Meals came but staff hadn't prepared the table, with the cutlery, wife had to go looking for them. Also never brought the drinks which they said they would as staff were waiting on for something else to be refilled for adding the juice. After about 15 mins I went and asked the staff about the drinks which I got(thank you). The meals were mediocre. I then have to pursue staff to have some money refunded to my card. I normally wouldn't have bothered, but I was disappointed overall on today's experience.

Always come to this restaurant for our meals when we come out. It’s local, staff are so friendly and the food is always delicious. Never had any complaints and the food arrives in a good amount of time.

Keira, Couldn't pour a pint at the start of her first shift. But then she gave the best custermer service and was able to pour ne the perfect Stella in the end and was able to take orders on the till.... She's the best pint pourer in Scotland in my opinion..... Credit to her work ethic.

Great food at great prices with great service. Everyones always so welcoming and accommodating. I have yet to try the unlimited breakfast but that’s next on the agenda.

Was there for lunch today to catch up with friends we found the meal very good especially the price😁 the lady who served us was extremely helpful and cheery. We have been to this restaurant a few times over the years and find that the quality has never disappointed.

We were here for the Christmas lunch. Waited about 5 minutes before someone came to show us to our table. The food was lovely and the main course there was plenty of food on the plate. However when it came to our sweet we waited 45 minutes before it was served and that was with reminding the staff that we were still waiting for it. When it did come we did get a half heated apology from the waitress but it was like a big joke to her as she laughed as she apologised - there was only 2 staff on that we could see and the lack of staff and the poor service spoiled the day for us

We had a great night and enjoyed all the food. The service was really good from management and staff members. Will be returning many times in future. Highly recommended.
