Fantastic Staff Lovely room in the garden area. Here for business , so having this room was so relaxing . Food was fantastic 💯. I had the Fish &Chips.Veggie Burger was yup Lovely. 🧑‍🍳 Would definitely stay here again .😃

Food was fabulous. Particularly enjoyed the smoked mackerel starter 😋 ..the special dish of the day; turkey korma was very yummy too😋 ..finished with really good coffee.

Perfect pub for some local beers and quiet time

This place was brilliant. We turned up a few times unannounced with a group of 14 and they were brand new. Great food, and really accommodating!

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere in the downstairs bar and food in the restaurant upstairs was easily a 10/10 . Will definitely be back on our next trip to Edinburgh.

Fabulous place for a delicious meal. All food was freshly made to order and service outstanding. Highly recommend!

Food was okay, nothing to complain about. However, after just finishing our food we were told that they needed the table back asap as there was people who had booking that had been waiting 15 mins for our table. We had been in the restaurant for one hour at that point, so did not understand why we were being rushed out as the booking confirmation claimed we had the table for an hour and a half. Also tables that were in before us were still sitting and we had waited a while to get served/ receive our food.

My favourite pub when visiting Edinburgh. Despite being right by the most touristy of tourist spots, the selection of ales is consistently fantastic and the live folk music some evenings is unbeatable. The low ceilings and old-school lighting really accentuate the already self-evident fact that this place has a lot of history to it. Highly recommend!
